Of course he should. As well as seal his man under the basket more often. I also don’t want to hear nonsense about floor spacing saying at times he can’t play with a pf that can score inside.

Moses had a team around him,Iverson,Barkley and Embiid felt like they had to do it all. The answer is for Embiid stop raining threes, get in the paint and cause havoc, rebound and put up easy points, please, and get talented players to compliment him…Even the greatest Chamberlain sacrificed his game for West and Baylor..

The NBA has changed tho the typical back to the basket front court post up every position is out dated nowadays 4/5 have to be knocking down those 3s

Agreed with your points (& thumb up 👍), but would imagine with the additions of Paul George & others the 76er's have done about as good as one could hope for this off-season. The 76er's team clearly has more talent this year than last so will be very interesting to see how Nick puts the pieces together to makes it work (or not.., but a 60+ win season should not be out the the realm of possibility). Can't fault Embiid's game when his points per. minute are on historic levels & his shooting from the outside for an NBA big man has been remarkable. The way he draws double teams & 3 second rule makes working through the weeds in the paint tough (plus a higher risk of injury..). See as a positive evolution of his game to be able to hit shots (reliably..) from farther out & when he is in a better position to dish the ball elsewhere when pressure comes.

@@rohandunbar2072 a fact is something you can prove, can't just say Keith is on Tobias's payroll.. lmao Tobias is a very decent NBA player it's just he was underutilized by being a spot up guy, he posts up and that's what Embiid does majority of the time and that takes away from Tobias.. you just chatting lol

One thing that has struck me with USA basketball in recent games is how much the world has caught up with the NBA 😳. The USA team looks super strong on paper but the last two warmups showed the Olympic games are going to be a hard fought affairs. With Reggie Jackson (recruited by Paul George) coming on board the 76er's seem deep at the guard position (as John Mitchell might call him, he's a good hamburger helper 😉). Think Embiid playing unselfish basketball (more than he's ever done before..) as he has during the Olympic warmups will help his game with a lot of new (& talented) players on the 76er's next season. 'Trust the Process' (would love a tee-shirt with every 76'ers player that was on the roster since that motto originated, be funny to ask Joel to name them all 😚). Side (related) note: Wilt won MVP one year and was chastised in the press as being selfish. Next year he lead the league in assist, maybe history can repeat itself 😏.

My question is why the Sixers keep getting all these guards and why not sign Keve Aluma he is the PF just like Batum who scores and defend the rim and blocks shoot on the wing?

And Kareem was still scoring a lot of points even when magic came in Magic was just getting him the ball . Joel embiid has fallen into a lot of bad habits because of the weak Talent around him or should I say habits that were Necessities as opposed to having more Talent

Yes less is more and lose 10lbs while he's at it to help with those knees. 5 attempts a quarter sounds about right during the season.

He just needs to shoot midrange and postup inside. Stop frigging dribble the ball and drive like a wing which is where he always hurt himself. With so many good guards and wings, he has no business doing those stupid things anymore 😂

Sacrifice his game FOR WHO? Embiid scores so EASY... you look up and he's got 20 points and it's not even halftime. Who else on this team is doing that. What they need to do is figure out a way to Stagger guys minutes so the big 3 are only on the court together at the Beginning and at the End of games. The middle portion of the game should be all about mixing and matching lineups that allow each of our Big 3 to be the focus point of the offensive when the other 2 are on the bench getting rest.
Yeah om team USA where he's playing with thr Best of the Best.. some of the best of ALL TIME... its easy to sacrifice his game and not hurt the team, that's not happening with the sixers. At thr end of the day Embidd is STILL thr best player on the Sixers so he's gotta be THAT DUDE. He might not be the best player on Team USA so... he gets in where he fits in.
What he needs to do is sacrifice his comfort with Chick-fil-A and Sherrly Temples and get his fat butt into shape and work on his conditioning.
