I'm happy to have found your video. I'm from the US but my family is Friulan and our name is Colussi (not related to Nono Colussi but still cool) so this video is very interesting to me. Grazie!
bello e completo come video, sarebbe bello anche un video simile sugli squeri, i pochi rimasti per la costruzione delle gondole. Io ho visitato solo quello a San Trovaso e quello del cantiere Crea alla Giudecca
LOVE LOVE the music, now you need long hike to work off those pastries! My son took me to famous Carmens Bakery 42nd and 8th, little pricy for the budget traveller :-) but worth it! GREAT job :-)

My favorite one is twice baked Almond Cantuccini but love all the sweet pastry, what camera do you use? video quality is very good. By the way, happy valentine day Mary Jane.
Ahhh, MaryJane! I put on five pounds, just watching your video! Now I have to go to the gym to burn off all those calories. Thanks for another great video! Ciao.
My family used the word Crostoli as well. I see you do Friuli videos. I am an American of Friulian (Meduno) and Venetian (cannaregio). I bake a lot and told to from wife's family for events. Any deserts of Friuli or Venice I could try besides Gubana?
Hi, I was wondering since you've been living in NY for some time, do you know where can I buy venetian biscotti,?? I am looking for Baicoli in particular. I have tried Eataly but no luck. Eataly does not carry anything venetian. I hope you can help. Thanks.
I've never seen baicoli in NY. I'll keep an eye open for them. Sorry I can't help Maybe it's a good chance to learn to make them at home! blog.giallozafferano.it/timoelenticchie/baicoli-biscotti-veneziani/

@@WhatashameMaryJane I know I just liked to visit Florence, Milan and Venice because of the history of the renaissance. I also like Rome and Greece because I like to read and study classics. I'm more of a history tourist.
Niccolò Machiavelli was right Oh I see. Than these cities are certainly focal points for history and renaissance art. I must ask you though: have you ever heard of Pienza, Padua, Siena, just to name three of the dozens of less known renaissance smaller historical cities/towns in Italy?
@@WhatashameMaryJane Thank you for asking! Before this video, I watched another one "Hiking and Traditional local food..." with small subs, and I had no problem with that. But when I was watching this video, it was a bit difficult to perceive words in capitals all the way around. Maybe it’s just for me. Did anyone complain? : )

It's cool for us too thinking that we have people with the same family name on the other side of the ocean :)
Here, from Argentina, another Colussi. Ciao!!
Love this channel it’s not the usual type of channel I watch but I guess that’s why I enjoy it because it’s something different
Nice to see the 🍩 of 🇮🇹. Everything looks delicious 😋 ! Happy Valentine's Day ! ❤.
I realize Im kind of off topic but do anyone know a good site to stream newly released tv shows online ?
@Oakley Shiloh lately I have been using flixzone. Just search on google for it :)

Thanks! I use an iPhone XS
We are preparing at our home many similar or even the same cakes. It's obvious that we are neighbours. :)
Absolutely!
After you NY video, I honestly just come to watch you. You are exceptionally graceful and beautiful.
Italians are so genuine and authentic
Hello Mary Jane nice video again. I love traditional bakeries, everything tastes so much better.
I’m glad you recognize their value Richard. :)

Awww no.... If you walk around Venice the entire day there’s really no need for the gym 🙂

Do you live there in Venezia? Io visito spesso. Vengo per Natale, prima e dopo.
Cheers!
Chiacchiere is one that I can not stop eating!
They're dangerous. Once you start...
The Doge sounds like he was a hard man to please.
Ahaha sure he must have been 😄
I am SO glad That I am not there (but I wish I was) !!!
Are you on a diet?

Wow Mary Jane, What a nice vlog. Very tasty.
A tasty vlog? :)
Don't let Cookie Monster see this.
I’d like to go to Venice but I’m more of a Florence fan myself 😉
You know there is more in Italy than Venice and Florence... Just making sure, since most of foreigner tourists think Italy = Venice + Florence + Rome

If you don’t crowds better visit venice during a pandemic
Both pretty women
Interesting, but, I'm sorry to say, it's a bit inconvenient to read subtitles in capital letters.
I used capital letters to make it more comprehensible. Wrong move?

Dmitry Ananin Not really. Only someone suggested to make them in yellow.
@@WhatashameMaryJane Well... it seems to me I’m in a minority of one.
