Sorry but this ain’t sparring you shouldn’t be losing brain cells from practice. It would be fine if it was only the body blows that were hard but they look like they’re trying to knock each other out. Good way to get permanent brain damage in your twenties, but bad way to spar.
My thoughts exactly. Sparring should be a fun exchange of quick but light blows. It should be an opportunity to polish your technique and maybe try some new things, not a struggle to survive. Especially the third round gave them nothing but damage.
If you compete you need to spar hard sometimes, you guys have no idea how often they do this. You think boxing is a game? Matter of fact this aint even that hard of a spar session and they have their coaches there looking over them. Don't be macho but don't be soft either.
