      Jesus Christ is the only hope in this world no other gods will lead you to heaven
      There is no security or hope with out Jesus Christ in this world come and repent of all sins today

      Today is the day of salvation tomorrow might be to late come to the loving savior today
      Holy Spirit Can give you peace guidance and purpose and the Lord will
      John 3:16-21
      16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. 17 For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved. 18 He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God. 19 And this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil. 20 For every one that doeth evil hateth the light, neither cometh to the light, lest his deeds should be reproved. 21 But he that doeth truth cometh to the light, that his deeds may be made manifest, that they are wrought in God.
      Mark 1.15
      15 And saying, The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand: repent ye, and believe the gospel.
      2 Peter 3:9
      The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.
      Hebrews 11:6
      6 But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.
      Jesus

      That's not the main thing , sikhs are here to grow and the service to humanity is to spread the joy of being compassionate and serving others it is very good for the soul and good to encourage others to also share similar values and put them into practice
      One thing to remember is Sikhi is not here for people to take for granted because they are a sovereign nation and people must recognize sikhs are amazing people and hindus and muslims need to stand with them

      Arshad Rana This is not true at all, firstly people have converted to Sikhi by their own will.... Not everyone that is a Muslim is educated themselves many are born in Muslim families and out of fear do not look outside of Islams teachings... Kids are beaten by the Mulvi and parents force kids to read the Quran, their is a such a thing called Social conditioning..... also the religion is not important, what is how you connect to God and live a righteous path this can be found in Christianity and Islam but i believe is easier through Sikhism because of the reaching and what is said.

      Paul what r you waitind for? ,, leave, if , behind , read from holy Guru Granth Saheb , download Gurbani Nirvaan app , or some other app of Gurbani , try to understand sikhi ,in English translation , . , no need to waste time ,, release if from yourself and try to understand truth which is inside you .

    • @PaulTheSkeptic
      @PaulTheSkeptic 4 роки тому +2

      @@kulbirlal330 Well, first I'd have to believe in a god of some kind. Then I'd have to be convinced that he was a personal god. Then I'd have to be convinced of the tennents, practices, dogmas or whatever else was involved in Sikhism. I'm not going to believe in something just because I like it or admire it or anything like that. But I think wearing the turban would be cool. But again, that's not a reason to believe in something.
      Try to understand the truth inside me? Well, I could be wrong but I think I already did that. I've asked every religious person who wanted a discussion for evidence. I get arguments. Most of which are fallacious. I was raised in a strict southern baptist household and slowly over many years I realized one thing after another after another that didn't add up. If that's not trying to understand the truth inside, what is? Are you sure you considered all the angles? Maybe you haven't yet tried to discover the truth inside. I don't mean to sound accusatory but a lot of religious people are devoted to their belief. Meaning it's not the end result of critical inquiry. It's accepted for other reasons.

    I’m not a theologian or an expert and I come from a Christian background.
    I have read the Christian Bible and studied much of the Quran and the Vedas and Gita, but all have fallen short for me and left me with so many questions, as there seems to be so many contradictions.
    However, Sikhism seems much different and it appeals to me very much.
    I like that it is about spirituality and not “religion”.
    I like that it is truly about practicing equality and tolerance, as opposed to just preaching it.
    I like that it is focused on “works”.
    I like that it is monotheistic.
    It seems like it is founded wholly on love and spreading love and living it. Love of God and from God. Love of self. And love of others.

    (This comment applies to all 3 of
    these debate videos) The people challenging Bhai Jugraj Singh have simply come with
    closed minds, despite their illogical arguments against Sikhi being addressed
    by Bhai Sahib they continually repeat the same questions and sound like a
    broken record, replaying. The people asking the questions are ‘opinionated’
    and hence refuse to change their opinions in spite of facts to the contrary.
    Often opinionated people refuse to listen to anything that even remotely
    contradicts their opinion. Bhai Jugraj knows what he is talking about however his
    opponents in the debate are Intransigent but:- “Facts do not cease to exist
    because they are ignored.” (Aldous Huxley), Bhai Jugraj
    also disengages gracefully. Thank you
    Bhai Jugraj for setting the record straight.

    VJKK VJKF, thank you as always for your great videos. I have a question because I thought that in sikhi there wasn't a concept like hell. I thought that a human being could live as a gurmukh (the highest "level"), as sanmukh o manmukh and then God will decide if you reincarnate or not, of course depending on your actions, but never heard about a concept of hell. It sounds to me like a punishment and I thought there was nothing like that in sikhi. Could you explain a little bit more about it? Thank you so much again. Greetings from Chile.

    I like to concept of Sikhism, that you just need to be a good person basically and chant God's name. But in regards to reincarnation, how do they know you turn into an animal or something once you die? Because I dont remember my past life as an animal?
    It would seem more logical if you got reincarnated into another human and could have another shot... if some Sikh could explain the above question it would be greatly appreciated, thanks!

    • @js_org
      @js_org 8 років тому +4

      +Umar Ali There are a few incidences in which people have remembered their previous lives.
      - There are numerous references in Gurbani (Guru's words) regarding Reincarnation to make humans realise that the the Human life is a rare opportunity that we have obtained after a long series of life and birth cycles. So as it is told by the Guru, and we believe in Guru's words. (I can write down some of them if u require)
      - For a spiritual person as the state of mind rises, the knowledge of previous lives starts coming up. Not just about your lives but about the creation of GOD. Its Like opening up of Secret door.

    • @vjagpal
      @vjagpal 8 років тому +2

      +Umar Ali Idea or reincarnation is strictly based on choices and expectations we make in life. We Sikhs see this as Universe's (God's) way of balancing the accounts. If a friend of mine owe me money and i want it so desperately that on me last time all i am thinking about is my money then universe will let me come back and have it (human or non-human way). It is not the money that matters in this case, it is my expectation of happiness from money. That happiness can be in any form. It is not just about money, it could be love of another being, service of society/nation etc.
      But human body is best designed to follow the path of God. and if that is what someone wants the most but did not have the level on understanding for it. He/she will get another chance to further acquire the knowledge/understanding to move on the path of God.
      Metaphorical reincarnation can be understood as if soul is a software installed on hardware of a body. Every time hardware get damaged software needs to move to another hardware. During the transfer, user data (memories) are zipped because new hardware may not handle it all. Later hardware is further developed with age but software get so involved with other operations and forgets the code to unzip the old data. May be this is why most us do not remember past life. But people who meditate and learn to go deep in mind do remember this.
      But obviously there is no direct scientific proof of reincarnation. However there is some evidence and theories for it. A scientific research was done by Canadian psychiatrist Ian Stevenson on this. Also, one of the developing theories of reality, Orch-OR see soul as quantum information and see reincarnation as transfer of information.

    Paji i dont know about afterlife , however if i may /hell and heaven both are on earth . It all depends on how u choose to live life . Heaven is under your parents shadow ,your partners love etc . If you disrespect your elders or insult your younger ones you are as it is living in hell . Nowadays we all live mostly in hell n partially in heaven. Guru ji must have talked about afterlife that most of us are unaware off . Anyhow thanks basics of sikhi , your videos are really helping me understand our religion . Please forgive me if i had said anything disrespectful to u or hurt any ones view .

    If i go to one part of the world and see marvelous buildings and another part of the world and see other marvelous buildings that means that the underlying principles of making the buildings have to be the same. Each culture might have came to understands these principles in a different way but they are still the same. One of those principles is mathematics. God is the common denominator that the universe is built on.

    In the beginning, I feel like the argument was flawed. If a person is is still deep in delusion we don't have to label them a "liar". There could be many spiritual leaders who are world renown, respected, appearing in holy books but at the same time they may have wrong understanding . I wouldn't say they are liars, but rather they are lacking right understanding. What I'm trying to say is criticizing the validity of a person's claims doesn't equate to saying they are a liar.
