X Games commentary guidelines:
1. Do not call out the tricks being done as they happen
2. Say things that are complete non sequiturs
Sometimes I would really like to see the other commentators faces when Gary is doing his thing
Or just turn Gary's mic off
Y’all are just being negative, Gary added a very funny touch to the commentating. His knowledge not just on the tricks but on every skater down to a personal level is what this needed.
There was nothing funny about it just annoying
x games still holding onto this broken ancient format that does not allow for the best skating, everyone is so nervous they only get 2 runs...just think u come all the way across the world for 2 _45 sec runs_ wtf right! Get with the program x games, thank god the olympics are using the sls format!!!
I feel like its also a waste of such a good park, no one wants to do anything creative cause they so worried about trying to make the finals and everyone ends up playing it safe!!! Add a 12 stair and a best trick section!!!
On a positive note I do like that 10 skaters make the final tho!!!
They're also still holding on to that horrible commentator as well. How is he still there? He's unbearable to listen to.

It sucks to see that overall the X Games are just as lame as when extreme was kinda extreme 🤣
The only reason to watch, for me is because it's skating. I just think it sucks that the NFL, 24/7 mouth breather network still hasnt figured out what a joke the X games are. Then again, I wouldn't give AF if I was getting so many kick backs without even being a politician either. As always, the winner is skateboarding. Exposure is always good. Huge checks for mostly mediocre contest skating and regular park building jobs will always be good for the only Religion, Race, Preference, Sovereign Nation or whatever grabs your faith that I personally believe in.

I see people complaining about the runs. Its a comp. Thats what sets a comp skater apart from a video skater. The pressure is part of it. When a rookie hits the field he doesn't get all season to prove himself. He gets a couple innings or maybe a few plays. Fighters make it through a round of they're fortunate enough.

X games here's something you should do for the people watching, put the skaters stance next to their name at the start of the run so we can tell if a trick is switch or regular & nollie or fakie
@@MrElpajita there's always new skaters and it's impossible to remember every skaters stance, it's not that hard to put their stance on the screen if you can put their name & scores on the screen too. And no you can't always tell their stance from watching them skate because a lot of them are constantly switching stance while skating going from switch to regular back to switch again, etc

I think everyone is sukin cause theres not enough lines on the ground to guide them to towards the trick in the position they previously carved in to land the trick, the color on the obsticles help but they need lines on the ground also

Aye at least they got Gary rogers commentating, such a chill dude. The format is so weak, definitely needs longer runs & a best trick contest. CPH open, damn am, tampa, glory dime challenge, all the other dope contests they have year round for practically anyone to run in are a blast to attend and are far more laid back. Like a giant party for the diehard skate community.
