I understand the opposition on Gary but the reason y’all don’t like him is the exact reason he should be there. He is genuine to skateboarding. His personality, commentating, background knowledge and experience. It’s all reflective of what being on the streets with a board and some friends is like. They give you the straight forward vanilla commentating that we need to follow along, so don’t be coming at Gary because he is mixing it up. It feels good to sit here and see someone true to skating commentate in big name business, never losing the roots.

@@cxamixx Not bashing women. In skateboarding my opinion the level isnt close between them. Ya'll in skateboarding have a huge gap in skill from women to boys.
Blading? We are all pretty equal. Its hard for bladers to claim Chynna Wierstall or Azuma from Japan arent just as AMAZING street skaters as most of the TOP men. The footage doesnt lie. Skateboarding needs to work on it. Its like womens MMA used to be. (i dont like MMA)

Im 33 with 2 boards, i ride about once a month these days for transport and fun. I won 2, 1st places a second and a third through my under 14 and under 16 skate comp attempts. I fell out of skating not long after finding trouble in people and police.
I really hope each and every one of these kids moves on well and does ok, life can get in the way sometimes when you get older.
Anyway, i remember only having 1 flip trick in a winning run😅 times have definately moved on.

why does minneapolis not have a decent skatepark downtown ?
I didn't realize they don't. Maybe they should host an actual skate event like Vans park so they'll leave it behind.
That sucks that they don't have a good one there. I live in Montana and we have at least 15 amazing parks, lots of driving between though. The locals should form a committee to raise funds. Influential parents are huge in something like that. Raise some $ and pester the Tony Hawk Foundation lol. They helped a lot here. Montana Pool Service would be a place to research while trying to get people with influence and cash involved too. Especially if there are any famous people from there who skate.
