I am so glad I found your videos. Everything explained so well, thank you! What camera settings and lens would you typically shoot with during these sessions?
We love our 50 mm! We usually are at an iso 200 and f2.2 or so. The shutter speed changes a bit but we like 1/150+

I liked the sitting poses, sitting on the curb and against the wall, and sitting on the ledge towards the end. I struggle to get flattering sitting poses so that will help me a lot!

Thanks for the video. By the video it seems like you are taking 2 shots on each pose? Is that correct or how many shot do you get. So is it smile, serious and look away on each pose?? thanks
Yeah pretty much! We just have a habit of doing 2 snaps per pose. We typically will shoot 500 or so per session and delivery 80-100

Hi Loved this bc many videos address senior girl poses, but so few address senior guys! Question: How many proofs do you deliver for a session? How many final retouched images? Just curious. Thanks!
We deliver all images retouched. Typically we give them 75-100 and they get 10 free downloads and can purchase them all as well.

It looks like you focus on his face then shift the camera downwards. I've seen other amazing photographers do this, but why?
It’s called focus and recompose. :) we lock focus on his face or eye and then recompose so he is centered in the frame.
