No, missile toe is better. The only thing the banana launcher has over it is it recharges its shots one second faster but it's not worth it to sacrifice slow down.

Popcap needs to balance some plants more. These are literally the same exact thing damage wise, damage area, and recharge (1 second apart is hardly noticeable). Missile Toe just has the ice effect and its a direct upgrade. And of course the better one is premium and costs money. Pretty greedy. Same thing with the Parsnip and Quacodile. Quacodile just has a ranged attack that doesn't even do that much. But they both unroot and attack when they get attacked, and they're plant food effects are the same. And guess what. Parsnip costs money and is better.
It is GUACODILE not QUACODILE or whatever I don't judge, I just make your word right, and just forget anyways.
Daniel TheJedi chomper and toadstool are ALSO premium and they both devour zombies making them vulnerable for a short period of time toadstool also gives 50 sun after eating the zombie.Toadstool has longer range.They also both have the same price

Banana launcher does not seem to damage units in adjacent lanes. I think banana launcher is more of 1x3 while missile toe seems more of 3x3.

Pretty much, Banana Launcher is great at creating a barrage while Missile Toe is great at slowing down enemies while at the same time creating a heavy amount of damage. Both Missile Toe and Banana Launcher couldn't really beat the Newspaper Zombie solo though. When there's a good amount of Missile Toes, they can pretty much save themselves from a charging All-star Zombie (if the player acts quick enough, or if the player uses the Plant Food at a perfect time). Banana Launchers can obliterate an army of them since they fire more than a Missile Toe when it comes to its Plant Food effect, though they can't slow down zombies so players must need like alot of them and act quick enough just to save them from a charging All-star Zombie. Though in MY opinion, it's more of a tie
By the way, this comparison is pretty much like comparing a free Peashooter to a premium Snow-pea.

The missile tod may not damage as much but it does area freezing damage, as banana launcher just damages everything. In my opinion missile toe is better for slowness, and when slowed down I think banana launcher would come in handy. Its the perfect combo aswell
