Hi fellow Discoverers. This is Alan from Discovery Walking Tours TV. Do subscribe and ring the bell if you are keen to see more of Singapore. I used binaural microphones to record the environmental sounds. So if you have a pair of headphones, do use them, it will be quite an immersive experience 😀 If you notice any interesting points in the video or want to ask about something that was caught on camera, comment with a time stamp (eg @) and I will be sure to check it out. I am also interested to know where you are from 😄 so drop a comment below and say hi! If you are keen to see more of Singapore, check out my playlist below: ua-cam.com/video/tnxOuQw2L5E/v-deo.html
Love the design of Oasia Hotel building at 0:25. It’s by WOHA Architects, who also designed Skyville@Dawson and Park Royal at Pickering in Chinatown. Great use of vegetation on buildings. Very cool.
It bring back my memories when I was young n staying at Tanjong Pagar Plaza with my group of friends that meetup everyday at blk 2, 3rd floor void deck and playing football on the hard floor. Thanks for the upload 👍
Thanks for sharing a snippet of your childhood memories 😄 Its stories like yours that bring a location to "live". I always feel a location is not just a place, structure or scenery. Some locations hold memories like yours. Hopely there will be more videos of Singapore that will remind you of the good old days 😄
Glad to hear you have visited our sunny shores. I haven't been to the USA before but would love to film there one day. Especially the desert environments 😁
It's something I been thinking about alot. I need a filter for night filming. I'm also exploring colour correction but I haven't put much effort into learning it as yet
@@DiscoveryWalkingToursTV ur wellcome 🙂 Nope , i stay in thailand right now . Oyah i stay in bedok reservoir 740 . I miss singapore until right now . I would like to work there in restaurant again , but my spass reject cause my education to low ( collage / diploma advance ) They are need bachelor , So sad 😞
@@iyassmackaye Yes I am =) Glad to know your boss values your contributions. Hopefully when times are better you will be able to come back to Singapore
i hear of various famous chicken rice stalls, but my favourite is Tong Fong Fatt Hainanese Boneless Chicken Rice. I wasn't in this area last time but definitely interested to walk around the Tanjong Pagar because of LKY affiliation with this area.
Ah okay. That brand name has a couple of stalls all across Singapore. Personally his chicken is quite oily and I only eat it if I am in a mood for chicken rice. Yeah Tanjong Pagar has got some modern history with LKY being the MP for this district for a long time.

ever considered using a CPL filter to add more contrast and dynamic range to your videos?
