I'm 40 and just picked this game up in June. You've helped me so much in just dialing myself back and playing smart to play better. It's now near impossible for shoot a 100 at Kresson. I'm scoring in the 90's (occasionally creep into low 100's), at most local courses here in the Philly/S. Jersey area.
At 55....I'm 2 yrs in. (7-10 rds pr yr) I broke 100 for the first time last week... front 9 red tees....back 9 white tees... I was hitting so much softer on the back 9. Beginner "power" and ego are BOTH game killers.. loved your vid! New sub!✌🏻
@@stanleyyelnats1313 love to see it. And it's a great idea to mix the tees up as well. Specially on the front where you can warm up adjust your game. Figure out where it's at today.
good info, I started in Mid July this year and was shooting in the high 120s. Finally broke 100 in September and now I am knocking on the door of breaking 90. I can pretty consistently play bogey golf and sneak in a par or 2. Just always have one or two bad holes that turn into a triple. Any tight fairway I hit a hybrid from the tee box, keeping it in play is key, at least for someone at my skill level. Hoping to break 90 soon.
For your short game, I would recommend looking up Dan Grieve and the 3 releases. His short game approach is super easy to follow and has significantly helped my short game.
I think about his 3 shots when chipping alllll the time. But sometimes I can get very lazy and not think about it. And I can also get laxy with practicing my wedges. Hopefully one day I'll do a lesson with him 🤔🧐
One of the things that prevents me hitting good shots is hitting with conviction. I don’t mean trying to hit the ball into next week, more I’m telling the ball to go rather than asking it.
@@tjy698 it'll translate one day. It's really all about getting the ego out of the way. Even I still struggle with it when I play with friends versus when I play by myself. If you can get a practice round in that you are solely focusing on trying new things and slowing down that's a good way to implement the changes easier
@@GolfPsychologist i love that idea. Ive been so outcome focused (lowering my handicap) that each round feels high stakes especially as the season comes to a close. I think it need to let the pressure off and focus on the process more.
@@Quartzteamrealty I have a Sony A7S3. And I use the rode mic go 2. But I had all of that equipment from other professional work that I was doing at the past. So you can just get away with a camera phone but the audio is the key thing.
Great video 👌🏼 I have completed 4 years playing this game. unfortunately I’m still at level of quadruple bogey despite what I do to put a strategy in the game! I do lots of shot’s within a 100 yards and less before i reach the green plus at least three putts ! Any clue on how to improve the game?
Figure out what is causing the blow up holes. OB off the tee? Flubbed shots? Topped/Chunked? If it is just bad contact causing the 100 yard shots or less, really drilling in low point control is a good step. Work on half swings and chipping motions with irons for better contact. I made a video on some drills that I've done and like for better contact. Look on the channel for the Range video. or w.e its called.
My new favorite golf channel. Your realistic.

Hey man, keep up the good work. Your videos inspire me to keep trying!

I played Cream Ridge today. I could have broken 100, but the 18th bit me once again.

I like this content. I don't know why i continue to watch how to score well but can't seem to make the conservative play on the course.

Great content man I love it! What do you use to film and what do you use for audio?

No reliable clubs is the problem. Hero shots out here saving the double digit scores.
Dual wielding those clubs may be just the secret we’re all looking for though 😂
😂😂😂
everytime he picks the driver and hits the slice it just reminds me of myself
