As a kiwi fan, I agree with you mate. Too many of our fans are too sensitive for their own good. Banter is almost zero, always ready to heap out the abuse but can't handle receiving it. Of course, not all fans are like that and every country has their dicks. But us kiwis need to realise we're not always the best fans.
I wanted to move to New Zealand because I heard there were such friendly people living there, this changed my perception of New Zealand greatly.

Well as much as I support the All Blacks and consider McCaw to be sacrosanct, I've got to slightly agree with you. He's a cheat, but he used to play at the limit of the rules, and sometimes you get pinned for infringing in rucks or mauls, but he definitely had a knack for not being caught red-handed, which is remarkable. Many other players would try to cheat as well and be caught. That being said, I'm completely okay with people calling him a cheat, you're entitled to your own opinion, as long as you don't attack other people on their point of view.
As concerns cantabrian people's behavior, I totally agree with you. Some of them show great banter but most of the others are outright physically assaulting him for carrying that sign. They're stupid, mean and have no chill whatsoever. What a great message of hospitality that is!

Couldn't agree more, Mccaw said in a recent interview he'll always try and do what he can and knows a ref should call around the ruk and if the ref doesn't call him on it. He'll do it all game, the refs really need to be all the effing same in Rugby.

He doesn't cheat, He is a great player, hes always there for support, always takes it to the line, always creates plays, turnovers and will push boundaries, he has great sportsmanship unlike most ppl from Boks/Aussies, we dont do sly hits , headbutts in frustration if we are losing, he is by far the best AB captain and the reason our AB's are doing so well is Mccaw doesn't just command his team, he leads them on the frontlines... Mccaw will always be a legend, anyone saying otherwise is jelous
