I'm gonna say the same thing I said on discord: Infinity might have been for JT a natural evolution of their own lines (Battle for the Stars and the futuristic part of Dark Source). Those lines had a lot of fans who aren't into 40K but are GI Joe and Marauders 1:18 / 3.75 collectors who needed some well deserved variety. With the move JT made with Infinity (putting it on the back burner because GW doesn't like competition) while basically dropping the aforementioned lines, they literally handed over to Toys Alliance (Acid Rain), Hiya and Planet Green Valley a part of their potential income and pushed away some hard earned audience. Not to mention that particular audience might get discouraged by the high-pricing Toys Alliance and Planet Green Valley have and move to some other scale/hobby altogether.
Exactly this mate! Battle for the Stars is why I got into Joytoy. Infinity was definitely scratching that itch. As much as I like 40k, I love the variety of designs from those other lines. So have Joytoy slowed down Infinity to appease GW? That sucks big time if so, but honestly sounds about right for GW. Ahh man, I just hope we get more Infinity...
I was going to say that it's coming to and end because I started to enjoy it (sorry y'all), but I'm a little relieved to hear that maybe GW has influenced the company to prevent any cannibalization of sales. I'm not sure how that would work considering that people won't necessarily run to Warhammer if they can't get Dark Source, Battle for the Stars, or Infinity. The styles are so different that fans of one are not likely to be fans of the other.
@@hammertronactionfigures2426 Yeah, but the source material for Infinity is also a table top game and, while it may appeal to a different niche than 40K, some people who aren't as much of a zealot as the main characters of 40K dipped their toes into it too and, as most of us know by now, GW doesn't play nice with competition. Heck, GW doesn't play nice even with independent Warhammer fan content that could actually do them a service and draw people towards their fictional universe (see independent animations, for instance).
@hammertronactionfigures2426 As for your last observation: I'm not a fan of 40K table top, but do like the lore here and there, I am a quality 1:18 figure collector and I'm a sucker for nuns with guns, so the Sisters of battle were a no brainer buy for me... then cam the T'au (perhaps the most atypical faction which is why hardcore fans hate them so much, but they were right up my alley)... then the Templars, who complement the Sisters so well... :p
Even though there may not be much crossover between fans and as selfish as it sounds, it sounds exactly like GW behaviour lol Ah well, I'll just wait impatiently for more Infinity whenever Joytoy decide to do more. I guess it means more money for Warhammer and acid rain

Hopefully with Joy Toy sending these your way to review that means that Joy Toy will continue making the line. Intinity Battle for the Stars Dark Source JiangHu (any other lines?) are all fun. Warhammer simply dominates everything.
Here's hoping! I got some Jianghu stuff from them too. I recently opened up the Jianghu captain soldier guy. Probably the best Jianghu figure so far. Joytoy are producing some really excellent figures!

Great reviews. I just recently finished collecting all JoyToy Infinity figures. I sure hope they will continue with this line. Hopefully they will announce more factions next year. There are so many interesting characters in Infinity.

Being not as popular as 40K I guess we will have an hard time: but no official cancellation, so there is still some hope! Lol great minds! Battle for the Stars is what got me into Joytoy, so with a decreased emphasis on that line, it seems Infinity was filling a similar aesthetic for me. The corvus belli infinity figures have taken my attention away from 1/12 scale. I'm now really into 1/18 scale. Joytoy please make more 🙏🏾

Nothing official, so it's not been discontinued per se. Just lack of products. It's an awesome line!

I use a manual hand drill and a mini cordless rotary tool. You can get them from ebay or amazon
