Lots of new releases for this year's first quarter! With the new TwD Hiya I feel like I can finally get my plastic crack fix from somewhere else than JoyToy 😅. It's not that I'm a fan of The Walking Dead anymore - the show has gone Young and Restless stale long time ago, but the human figures are nice and iconic enough. Those Acid Rain new girls and vehicles are so tempting, but with the prices they go for, I'll keep staying away... Because, knowing myself as the completionist I am, I'd end up spending a fortune to get at least the faction the girls are in, and that's a deeeep and expensive rabbit hole. As for JT, I think I'm space marine fatigued by now and, since I'm not such a hardcore fan, unless they release some more nuns with guns which I love, I think I can finally distance myself a little. One thing that irks me is that, with the vast experience JT has accumulated, the new figures will look so good that they will render the older releases "crude" and lacking, but the scale inconsistency is enough to put me off, no matter how detailed and intricate the new ones are.

After buying my first Aid Rain a few years ago, it was game over. I just couldn't stop buying more. Some of the older ones are really difficult to get and really pricey too.
I've certainly slowed down on Warhammer. For me, it's a bit overwhelming how much Joytoy are churning out, but what I get I'll make work in my collection. I'm definitely with you on the sisters. Love those gals!
Those cataphractii terminators and contemptor have me really tempted. These imperial fists look 10 times better than the 40k ones. Especially the new termie with the claws 😍

Hiya are definitely getting better, but I don't think they're quite there yet. Cheap plastic and questionable articulation decisions still plague their figures
