I think your opinion will change about British Steel-Judas Priest as you grow older. It was the record that broke them to a larger mainstream audience. It's presence was huge in the metal community in the early 80s. I was 16 when it came out...Just something to consider, tastes change, opinions differ with time. Metal fan since 1980. PRIEST
Diamond Head and Ozzy I'd love to find OGs on vinyl, H&H is a great album but with NWOBHM exploding this year I would probably have Iron Maiden, Saxon (strong Arm) or Angel Witch as my top album. I just did a video showing 10 NWOBHM albums turning 40 this year. Enjoyed your list.
I agree with most of the list and even with number 1 but iron maiden will be alot higher on my list like top 3 it's very influential most of the 80s metal bands were influenced by that album and its one of the best maiden albums

Before 1980, only Black Sabbath and Judas Priest had pure Heavy Metal albums.
Agree, 1980 was indeed a turning point.
Heaven and Hell is a masterpiece! I own it on CD and vinyl! 🤘🤘

1980 Might have been the best year for rock albums as a whole
Van Halen over THE METAL GODS is criminal IMHO. I do appreciate your love of Saxon and the Motor City Madman though.

Band LAZY ( Pre LOUDNESS ) from Japan had one LP back in 1980 . Much MORE METAL than any Van Halen Or Ted Nugent .
Hey Bryce, What Are Some Of Your Favorite Album Covers?
That’s tough... maybe I’ll try to do a video on it sometime
British Steel is overrated ? I don't think so ! And as far as Nugent goes his best album was his last with the Amboy Dukes .... Tooth, Fang, and Claw
1981
1982
1983
1984......
2018 2019 please!
good choice for heaven and hell 1 i don't like British Steel much some good songs but living after midnight breaking the law and united are shit
What's the track name of the Saxon introduction?
Will yo do a list of each year of the golden decade for music... The 80s?
Probably
I thought Heaven and Hell, and Blizzard of Oz were 1981
AC DC annoying? Wow. Whatever. I agree that Back in Black wasn't their best album, Powerage is that for me, but annoying? Well, it is your opinion.
I said 2 songs on that particular album get annoying, not that they’re annoying overall
Where's megadeth
Megadeth didn't have a record out in 1980.
@@dustingilbert9991 my brain is slow, thought it was for 80s
It's all good, I have those moments too. Megadeth rules.
We had records not CDs
