- ‘Accidents’ from the album Watch Out!.
---
Watch Out! is the second album released by post-hardcore band Alexisonfire. It was released on June 8, 2004. The album debuted at #6 on the Canadian Album Charts, selling 6,580 copies in its first week. It was certified Platinum in Canada in April 2007.
---
Hailing from St. Catharines, Alexisonfire rose up out of the Southern Ontario underground in late 2001, to become one of the most successful indie bands in Canada. The band’s success also reached far beyond Canada’s borders. AOF released four hugely successful studio albums, Alexisonfire (2002), Watch Out (2004), Crisis (2006), and Old Crows / Young Cardinals (2009). Crisis debuted at #1 on the Top 200 Soundscan chart (Canada), and Old Crows / Young Cardinals debuted at #2, and charted at #9 on the US Billboard Independent Album chart. Watch Out helped earn the band New Group of the Year at the 2004 JUNO Awards. Their first 3 albums achieved Platinum certification in Canada while Old Crows / Young Cardinals reached Gold certification. The band also topped charts and graced several notable music magazine covers internationally (Kerrang, Blunt, Big Cheese, Canadian Musician, Exclaim! ). AOF’s sold-out 10th Year Anniversary Farewell tour in December 2012 touched down on four continents in 24 days, illustrating how meaningful the band still is to their legion of fans around the world.

I remember listening to this years ago during my times at high school, studying for hours at nights with the hope of becoming a medical doctor one day - it's kind of funny but this video kept me inspired to carry on. Now I'm listening to it and I'm about to finish my MD program and hopefully graduate in just a couple of months
banach_xo I’m a Paramedic now and have been for years. This and Thrice would have played a big role into my interest into getting into it, not going to lie
That’s awesome 👏
What an achievement and isn’t it amazing how music gets us through by inspiring us or just keeping a cool head on our shoulders. Congrats
Listen to this in the ambulance whenever I would have to go to the hospital with my mom when she would relapse rest her soul 🤘🏾🔥🖤😎 I am strong
Thank you for all your comments and likes through these years. Right now I'm on duty in the Neurology Ward I do my residency in, nothing's going on so I've decided to look at some old music videos and I'm really surprised that so many of you have reacted to a comment I forgot about :)
this whole album is a Post-Hardcore masterpiece.
I'm in school to be a paramedic, I'm currently just finishing up my ambulance practicum and every time we drive to a call with lights and sirens I think of this song/music video and it calms me down. 🚑
I'm sure lmao
Alexisonfire
Get after it 👍💪👌🏻
My dad was a Paramedic for over 25 years in Toronto, you definitely have a lot ahead of you. Good on you to chose such a noble profession!
@@McflowG I was, I actually passed and am now a licensed paramedic. But that's cool.
This video is why I became a paramedic 🤣
so good but you must hear “The Wave” or “Whispering Wolf” by SLT 🤘🎧🐺
I fucking love this video and song. Ironically this was one of the videos that played a lot on MTV in May of 2005.. Watching this on tv in Toronto at Sick Kids Hospital dying of heart failure. I was 16, laughing alone in my bed at this video sometime after midnight. My leed detached from laughing so a nurse came to see if I was okay. She thought I lost my mind until I explained it. Loving that I was laughing rather than being depressed about it. Bands hear these stories all the time but that's the thing about music.. It effects our lives so much, music has saved many. This music is now with me forever as it was the soundtrack to my life at that very moment. Among other songs such as "No Transitory", "Wake the Dead" and "Pulmonary Archery". A few days before that I was drowning on my own blood. This is the reason I am getting an Alexisonfire tattoo. The skullheart would be an amazing piece to represent my struggles and love for life and respect for death.
Great story man. Glad to hear you made it! Enjoy your life.
Shut up auot whinning
and I love the theme intro, danny, the vampire slayer. I think it's like buffy, the vampire slayer & dr. dimensionpants & supernoobs. buffy, the vampire slayer was badass, badass intro. don't get me wrong, danny, the vampire slayer has a badass intro, too.
sounds kinda similar to buffy, the vampire slayer and danny, the vampire slayer. man! talk about badasses.
I remember it from the Muchmusic days
I've seen Lamb of God, Megadeth, Trivium, and tons of death metal bands live throughout the years but Alexisonfire is still the best concert I've ever been to.
Veil of Maya best concert I've ever been to. They were opening for Trivium too.
I saw AOF in summer 2019 it was unreal, loved it
Still the only time I seen a guy in a wheelchair crowd surfing.
I saw their "farewell" show at Brock University cuz they are from st cat's and the whole show started with the lights coming on, a mist of rain and accidents playing
I've never heard of this band before today but I'm checking them out right now. I'm a paramedic and I love how authentically they portray an ALS crew. Makes me feel really happy, and the song is a banger.
They were pretty famous back then. You should check out city and colour if you want to hear Dallas Green’s beautiful vocals in a calmer setting, the song coming home is really good :)
They are/were a canadian post-hardcore band and this was kinda their breakthrough in the mid 2000's
My son, you are welcome! I pass this music on with pride
@@MedalionDS9In Canada. "This Could Be Anywhere In the World" was their breakthrough in the US, somehow.
@@JohnRNewAccountNumber3 Interesting
This must have been my MySpace song for like 2-3 years straight. FAWK YEAH.
Fawkin peesa gahbage
Omg me too
This one hits hard right about now...Hope everyone is staying safe and healthy.
Dude yes. My 16 year old self had no idea. Now at 26, the lyrics are spot on
Been listening this band .... It's crazy how beautiful some of songs are ... Play it loud
Why? Did you die?
lol not at all, it’s quite the opposite actually
Same to you bud
Every time i hear ambulance sirens I think of this song xD
I still get shivers down my spine to this one. just makes me wanna feel adrenaline, enjoy life as much as possible
I've seen Megadeth live, Lamb of God live, Mastodon live, and a bunch of death metal bands, but none of them compare to Alexisonfire live. Singing the gang vocals of this song with the crowd is still my favourite memory ever.
I'm from Montreal, my grandpa, who was Ontarian, passed today, on Friday sept 30th, i was, by complete coincidence, listening to Alexis this morning and somehow this day has brought me closer to my Canadian/Ontarian cousins.
As a Quebecer, i rarely feel Canadian but tonight i feel it a little more. Thanks for the music, guys.
Been here since 2003, not going away any soon
so good but you must hear “The Wave” or “Whispering Wolf” by SLT 🤘🎧
I can't believe how old this song is and how fast time went by. JFC we're getting old.
+Ruby te Kiefte I feel you
+Ruby te Kiefte jfc(
frustrating
I know the feeling
I know right? So crazy
Ruby te Kiefte Yeah we are! At least we had this kind of music growing up though
God bless the paramedics of this world. It takes a special kind of strength to do that job.
First festival I've attended in 2 years since the pandemic started. Went to see these guys headline with Sum 41 last night, and it was like all those years just melted away. Hearing 30,000 fans scream out "LET'S REDEFINE" at the tops of their lungs was the exhilaration I've been missing for so long. So glad these guys reunited for another album and tour, and created the kind of show that brought out the young teen in me again.
so good but you must hear “The Wave” or “Whispering Wolf” by SLT 🤘🎧🐺
one of the best albums ever
Accident on drones sir Master
These comment sections are like nostalgia graveyards. Most of us are 25-35 that remember this. We're not 75 lol.
Nostalgia was better in my day, I'm 47 you know.
Ow my back
I'm 43 and totally agree
I’m 40. What the other two said.
35-40 now
32 omw
The aesthetic of this video suits this song so damn good. 🔥 🔥
this is on the list of songs to be played at my funeral
The boys had a lot of good tracks over the years, but this one's the best I think.
man watching this music video brings me back to the old much music days. Where you would come home from school and watch much music countdown, video on trial or any interviews with the vjs. Good times man.
Most under-rated Canadian Band! This BAND is LEGENDS!
honestly....could be most underrated modern rock band in history
I cant even listen to City & Colour anymore knowing that Dallas will never write another AOF record again. He's a beautiful singer, and one of Canada's best but at this time the loss of AOF is still fresh and the nostalgia too great.
They're back again
pedrohrq
I know! I went to one of the reunion shows (Riot Fest).
I hope it wasn't just because of the money and fame, that City and Colour brought him. I wonder if he knows how important this band is, to people. I see it in the comments, every video. Much like Matt Good's videos.
@@MrJordwalk not only they came back. After today I think there is some new written stuff out in two weeks ;)
@@tryitworks
OMG! REALLY!?? IF THIS IS TRUE..... FINALLLLLLLY!
This track got me hooked on AOF when I first saw the video for it. I've seen AOF multiple times live since and they're probably my top 2 favorite live band ever.
They certainly put on a show whenever they're on stage. 10/10
I can’t hear an ambulance or fire truck without hearing the guitar lick after in my head.
One of the most transcending incredible songs of my life.
" If only , we could heal ourselves. We wouldn't need to be hooked up to these machines "
2021 and still a great song and video
Its crazy how appropriate this song is atm lol
The 6 man! T-Dot represent!
I think about the chorus often...the whole album has gotten me through some rough times
so good but you must hear “The Wave” or “Whispering Wolf” by SLT 🤘🎧
If every I get into an accident, I want Alexisonfire to be there patching me up. That or alice cooper.
the last thing I would wanna see when I come around after a accident is Alice Cooper haha love the guys tunes and all but he aint looking too good nowa' days
Completely forgot about this song. I was late teens when it came out. I've been a Paramedic for just under 15 years. Can't believe I forgot about this song
Such a badass track, even after all these years!
so good but you must hear “The Wave” or “Whispering Wolf” by SLT 🤘🎧🐺
Such a great song. Timeless

Thank god I saw these guys live back in the day. Never gave em a chance til I seen them preform. I'm still a die hard, know all the words! \m/, rock on!
This song is the thiory of everithing
At sea , alone for 4 hour stretches on lifebuoy sentry on the heilo-deck of the HMCS Vancouver in 2005 in the middle of the Pacific ocean. Vivid are those nights listening to this album on my discman while bouncing around in the waves staring up at the moon , wishing I was home with my friends in Toronto.
the most powerful song ever. from Italy
Love banging to this classic. Cruising in my Tesla 3. 0-60 under 4sec.
This video is so cool knowing that George was actually a Medic for St John’s Ambulatory services at one point.
so good but you must hear “The Wave” or “Whispering Wolf” by SLT 🤘🎧
I'm a paramedico, I've been doing this for 3 years, but when I was getting started I was watching this video and I just wanted (to this day) to listen to this song before, during and after each service, I can't wait for that to happen to me anymore.
Me encanta como empieza el comment
@@valienteballar30 gracias por tu comentario de verdad
I'm not sure what's worse
The waiting or the waiting room
"You're next sir" becomes cruel taunt to you
Recycled air, the smell of sleep and disinfectant
Your god is a two door elevator
Do they even cure you?
(Cut me open drug me) or it is just to humor us
(Repair all my defects) before we die
If only we could heal ourselves
We wouldn't need to be hooked up to these machines

came here from the billy talent fan base as alexisonfires drummer is playing for there next album and I'm very impressed
Billy talent is the shit too
I used to listen to this song back in high school when I didn't have a care in the world, and now I have two kids
I feel like Booker T when I tell people I seen them 5 TIMES!
I dig that
Anyone back after seeing a new album dropping in 2022? Elder emos. It's our moment.
damn right we're here!
I live near the local hospital, and everytime that i listen the siren of an ambulance this songs hits my head like a trauma lol
they opened with this in Winnipeg last week - unreal!
Was Dallas playing with them?
@@albert9364 yep!
Fuck i miss these days of rocking out to this. I remember going to Vans warped tour and seeing Alexsonfire there. First tine I ever crowd surfed was while they performed.. best concert ever..
This song live is awesome!!!!
holy fucking 12 years old. I cant believe it
this song is timeless.
I was 1 when this came out
I was listening to that song back in highscool. Closely made me being a paramedic. I’m actually a 7 years old police officer. Two years ago, I responded to a collision between a young man on a bike and a car. The boy was the brother of a friend pf mine, whos also a paramedic in our place. The collision was to hard, even with everything we did, the boy died a couple days after at the hospital. At least, we got the woman responsible and she did time.
This video brings a little peace to that event.
