How to Make Strawberry Lemonade

- Homemade Strawberry Lemonade isn’t just a perfect refreshing summertime treat, it’s also incredibly simple to make!

This easy recipe is based off of my classic Lemonade recipe and can be prepped with just 4 ingredients in under 10 minutes.

Ingredients
6 cups water divided (1.4 liter)
1 cup + 1 Tablespoon granulated sugar divided (200g + 1 Tablespoon)
1 cup lemon juice¹ seeds removed (236ml)
1 1/2 cups ripe strawberries quartered, plus additional for decoration if desired (210g)
Instructions

01:02 Prepare simple syrup first by combining 1 cup (236ml) water and 1 cup (200g) sugar in a small saucepan. Place over medium/low heat and stir frequently until sugar is dissolved. Set aside.
01:35 Combine strawberries, ½ cup (120ml) of water, and 1 Tablespoon of granulated sugar in blender and blend until strawberries are completely pureed.
02:20 Pour strawberry puree through a fine mesh sieve² into pitcher and use a spatula to press/work as much strawberry juice through as possible. Discard remaining pulp/seeds.
02:57 Add lemon juice and simple syrup to pitcher.
03:03 Add remaining 4 ½ cups (1065ml) water and stir well.
03:23 Pour over ice and serve or chill and then stir again before serving.
Notes
¹Fresh squeeze preferred, but bottled lemon juice will also work
²I like my strawberry lemonade to be nice and smooth and I don’t like pulpy, seed-y bits of strawberry in my lemonade, which is why I use the strainer. If you don’t mind the texture, feel free to skip the straining and leave this in your lemonade!

Instead of putting the water directly in the jar its always a good idea to let the water go through to the blended strawberry through the "ceiver" with the remains in it to get the water run through

You could probably try a little bit of honey, but honestly I haven’t tried anything else so I can’t be sure how it would go. If you do try it I’d love to know how it goes. 😊

The bottled lemon juice will just replace the fresh lemon juice. You will want to do everything the same. 😊

So I tried a strawberry lemonade from a restaurant before and it was sooo good. I could taste the strawberry skin (hard to explain). Then I could tase the lemonade will it be like that?
This lemonade has a burst of fresh strawberry flavor, so it sounds like it will be similar to what you had. I hope you love it! 🙂
How many lemons did u use to get a jug full before u poured into the pitcher please?? Also what does the syrup do, what is its part in the strawberry lemonade please
I typically don't give a number on how many lemons it takes because it can vary so soooo soooo much. It's hard to really say. The simple syrup sweetens the lemonade. You do this to dissolve the sugar. ☺

That could work. :)
The water you added was it bottled water or you boiled your own water ?
You could use whatever is available to you. I use water straight from the faucet as it is safe to drink. :)
