I just bought these irons after hitting them... These are the first game improvement irons I've purchased in a long while... and wow... no seriously. I just turned 40 and my iron swing speed is mid-80s and it's not going to get faster, if anything slower. Your swing speed is a lot higher... it isn't what these irons are made for so your consistency is going to be all over! I cannot hit that 7i 200 yards LOL! Either way, for a player like myself, these hit like butter and I'm pretty sure the entire face is the sweet spot for this speed.
The thing is Ash...they're only 'Maximum' anything until they bring the next new all singing, all dancing set of irons 😉😉😉 I'm sure I can still shank the 8iron 😂😂😂
@@lukewelch5004 ...and just wait 'til next year Luke. There will be a 'new' maximum, that COR effect will be spread over more of the face. A new material found, there will always be something for them to say "it's better, you need this" or, that's the end of Mizuno...that is their last ever iron! John Freeman, one of the Engineers behind this series of irons has already teased a new iron coming to market in Spring '25 🤔🤔🤔
@@thegolfsupply Already another 'better' iron teased for Spring '25 Ash. Companies will always improve or find ways around the rules. You only have to look at drivers, we've been at 0.83 COR (257ct MAX) for years but...they improve the heads year on year. Increasing MOI, spring effect across ALL the face, materials used...you get the picture? It's just like F1 they will find some way to make the product 'better', 'improve it'...we're all grown ups and know what's going on, we just need an excuse to buy the next big thing 😉
@@lukewelch5004 LMAO, very true! Even more maybe...The original Big Bertha from decades ago will take some beating, but boy were they fugly mothers 🤣🤣🤣
You say that muzuno have reached max forgiveness. Not true. They state they have reached max distance and the 925 are much more forgiving than the 923 but same distance as they can't improve further on distance. I think you are confused.

Mizuno are saying these have reached the maximum amount of COR allowed from the USGA & R&A regulations. So MAXIMUM FORGIVENESS lol
