    Hi, new sub here!! :) I'm starting this journey soon as well. Trying to learn as much as I can first. I have high myopia and astigmatism as well. Do/did you have any astigmatism too?

      Hello! Thanks for the support! Yes I also have astigmatism, but not very much, only 0.5. I've decided to leave it for now until I get my myopia down more. I'm thinking I'll give it another go in a year or so! Good luck with your progress!

    Hi, i did texted a guy who did endmyopia for 5 years or so and I told me it does not work and all this improvements were blur adaptation. That really sucks and I kind off discouraged me from trying to do it myself, so I was just wondering if you could go to an eye doctor and get your eyes tested to see if the progress is actually real. Plz do it, your literally my last hope

      Hi there! I know it can be discouraging to hear when others haven't improved, I would recommend to focus on your own improvements though! Everyone's lifestyle is different so you can't compare... The last time I went to the optometrist I was at -4.5 and I didn't tell him that I was prescribed -5.5 half a year prior and he said my -4.5 glasses were good for me, and I didn't need a stronger power :D I'll definitely see an optometrist further down the line. I use the centimeter measurements to track my progress so check out my "Natural Vision Improvement Results" video to see my data! Good luck!

      Also, you shouldn't have blur adaptation, that is a sign the you are reducing too much or too quickly and that you are not adapting to your glasses. I only reduce once I'm at 20/20 on the eye chart with those glasses

    Great progress! how much were you able to reduce in the first year? Have you made any reductions to cyl? Whta would you say is the biggest factor in your quick improvement?

      @NotNearsighted  22 дні тому

      Thank you! I dropped from -5.5 to to about -3.75 in the first year, so a 1.75 drop! The first diopter was faster because I was very overprescribed and I figured out how to get rid of ciliary spasm. Nothing for cyl yet! And definitely the biggest factor is getting rid of bad eyesight habits and lots of outdoor distance vision time!

      @@NotNearsighted How much cyl do you actually have? I have attempted a cyl reduction in the past, and it stopped all my progress, so I had to go back. Only doing sphere now.

      I only have 0.5 CYL so I've left it for now, hopefully will get to it in a year from now or sooner but I want to focus on myopia first!

      @joshuab738 2 дні тому

      @@NotNearsighted That is understandable. At that low, you probably dropped it from your diffs. I am started from high myopia and astigmatism so I have had to do cyl drops slowly in between sph. I have been lucky in that my needed cyl has dropped almost naturally as I dropped my sph so the cyl drops are not that difficult. Thanks for all the info!

    I have to work 5 to 6 hours a day on my laptop. Can I improve my eyesight?
    And how did you find active focus?
    Thanks

    • @NotNearsighted
      @NotNearsighted  28 днів тому

      Yes I think you can! I also have a lot of screen time for work, it really has to do with the amount of outdoor distance vision time you have to compensate for the near work. Also make sure you use differential glasses that have a good distance to the screen so you can avoid getting stuck in ciliary spasm, see endmyopia resources to choose the right diopters! The worst thing you can do (what I and many have done for years) is to wear your distance vision glasses for near work, so definitely avoid that! I'll make a whole video on active focus because there is so much I can talk about for that, so stay tuned. Good luck!
