Pairing the construction Vic with the man pack radio is a great combo. Especially if there is an unmarked supply point nearby. Maybe even bring an arsenal truck so you can lay mines ahead.
Fairly good video, i loved the intro because it's a perfect demonstration of what arma noobs get wrong. So many vehicles needlessly blown up because of getting too close to the enemy. You could've also talked about adjusting the sights on the gun to 500m rather than walking tracers onto the target. And talked more about defilede and using natural cover. You were incorrect saying that infantry don't have an accurate way of shooting gunners at 500m - snipers and also assault riflemen with scopes are very dangerous even at that distance. Cheers
Thanks! About walking the tracing into the target I like to do that more than using ironsights with a long range, because the game has excessive screenshake when firing mounted machineguns which it should not have because most of the recoil is absorbed by the vehicle mass it is attached to.
@@caracal3892 That's probably either a bug or something that just hasn't been implemented yet. Might be worth creating a bug report for in the BI bug tracker.
One tip for these mobile MG positions: Take some supplies and a "Resupply pack" Into the vehicle. This allows you to replenish the used ammo directly from the supplies and even pick whichever variant you need (Incendiary, AP...)
