I love running logistics, because there's so many new players with hog loadouts, it allows them to enjoy themselves and get back in the fight on the front lines

I wish half the player base had your mindset everyone gets so angry at the new players it ruins the game for them it’s like some people forget that everyone was a new player.

Thanks for following up with the video!! Can’t say I’ve personally learned anything new but the idea of bringing a construction truck to a supply area and building heavily there to defend it is genius! (I wonder if this would stop Ai from spawning there..) I’ve recently been using construction trucks over the regular transports as the 50supply penalty is negligible with great added utility! I like to call them “supplies with benefits!” .
Quick tip for people who like to drive the heavier vehicles including the BTR, if you struggle going up hill you can always reverse your way up much easier!

That's all good mate! I find the Russian trucks to be far superious in speed and horsepower than the American trucks in response to your BTR tip!

You can also boost most vehicles by holding shift which makes them allot stronger and faster very useful, don’t know the button on console though.

@ on console its just matter of pulling the trigger all the way back to reach the boost!

Good vid brotha, a quick tip is that there are “hidden” no marker supply points where you can get a heli supplied up quick for a run

Nice one mate! Check out the first video about logistics there's a screenshot in there that shows all of the hidden supply caches on the map 🙌🏻

A better tip for start game or just taking bases as a supply team, if you empty all the supplies and only reload what’s not used after placing the tenet you get more xp. Dno why my guy told you not to put it all down, maybe so your quicker? But either way your gonna be eat there building so….plus check out the field manual people🙌🏻 im still learning from it and I’ve been playing for a good while now, the arma website has even more info than the field manual if you manually look up what you wanna find out💪🏼

Civvy sedans and vans CAN load supplies, the sedans hold 80, and you must go to the front of the car and find the interaction menu with your freelook button (you’ll see the interactive grey dot easier in freelook mode)

Pff... I've 1500 hours in ARMA 3 and 300 hours in Reforger. Listen to this:
    1. It's way more efficient and not much longer to walk to first objective then to drive there and constantly spent supplies on jeeps.
    2. On closest to FOB objective and insupply points nearby you can find free vehicles that you can use for supplies carry - supply in one way and taxi troops the other way. People should wait for taxi instead to wait for jeep they will abandon or lost 3 minutes later.
    3. After building vehicle depot in the opening minutes of the game you can decomission its vehicles and get approx 280 points out of them, that allows you to build base.
    4. Within first 5 minutes of game if noobs are not using supplies you can build large vehicle depot, small vehicle depot, radio station, fuel station and ammunition supply depot,.
    5. Walking from FOB is OP - it doesn't use supplies, instead of waitinig for supplies to stackpile to buy jeep (that one will crash or get destroyed by enemies on the road via ambush and you start over) you will get much faster to the first objective on foot.
    6. On Arland walking rom the North FOB to the airport is faster then driving. On Arland walking from the South FOB to the first objective is faster then drivng over roads.
    7. It's better to have truck that goes between supplies and base and taxi soldiers to the supply point from which they can continue on foot then constantly buying jeeps.
    8. Jeeps that can carry 200-300 supplies are good for supply runs as they are more nimble and easier to dodge any attacks when operating closer to front lines - they are spawning nearby supply points so you can have them for free.
    9. Large vehicle depot has very nice shape to build bases around as it has Y or T shape intercection and a bit of fence that can complement your base structure for defences. One road can be used to connect with other roads or as entrance to the base. Other two can be used for in various ways. One of them is that you use one for small vehicle depot and you always place right behind it ammo depo. When one spawn a vehicle he has access to ammunition depot right behind it and can stack up his jeep with equipment necessary. Its good option to connect two large vehicle depots with the one of the T/Y shape roads. They can store a lot of supplies in late game and build nice layout and defences if place with proper care and planning.
The biggest damage that happend to this game is recent weeks was silly YT advisors saying to gear up in ammo supplies and that this game is big in size so you need vehicle so grab one from the base.
People should also A L W A Y S stack up into full squad sizes instead of making dozens (I hope dev's will enforce it somehow soon). Taking ammunition resupply pack cost 0 points from the ammunition supply structure. Instead of using 150-200 points on constant jeeps on each death its WAY MORE EFFICIENT to take long range radio for 200 points per squad and place it on nearest to objective supply point so it never runs out from the supplies and respawn from it. Vests are not bulletproof but protect from fragmentation and small calibers aka pistols etc, so dropping them and grabbing small backpack with ammo resupply box and one long range radio station and walking to supply points first to drop radio there is the way to go.
With lage backpack you can stash inside it ammo resupply box and long range radio. You can drop long range radio at supply point and continue with backpack and ammo box inside. That way you and your squad will never run out from ammo, as the ammo costs 0 points per magazine from the ammo box, other special equipment like machine gun ammo or grenades etc can be restocked nearby supply points - its way more eficient to carry ammo box then extra ammo as its lighter. To save weight one can ditch the vest and helmet and replace it with cap. It's light infantry fight on long ranges in mainly wooded areas, vests and helmets makes more sence in towns and structures but dropping them saves you approx 7kg which you can trade for backpack with ammo box and one radio per squad. Also, if you don't plan to communicate its better to remove small radio to save weight and it won't get into enemy hands, only organized teams can benefit from radio which is currently near 0 - because people lack radio discipline and don't know how to operate it properly in militaristic manner, and shouting "I'm dead" or "they shoot at me" or "can you hear me" on platoon size radio on 16km square map has approximately ZERO value.
