Yes it can, in terms of the pistol's inherent precision. As for all pistols there's a right type of ammo that fires tight and there's a wrong type of ammo that spreads. In this particular pistol CCI Std produces a hit pattern of about 40mm in diameter (I practice with this brand in my X-Esse), while SK Pistol Match is down under 25mm (1 inch) in diameter. RWS Pistol C25, pretty expensive, is as tight as a 15mm diameter hit pattern in the X-Esse. And then there's the skill of the shooter... :)
this pistol likes a good strong cartridge....ex blazer ..... it is a cracking good pistol.. accurate and a very good piece of german engineering...ihave just bought my second and my scores have gone up already love it!
I have shoot the Walter made xesse for 6 months untill I bout my own 22lr a faienwerkbau aw93. And now sometimes i wish that i bout the xesse it is that good
@photoguy73 Thank you, found it! Wondering if he will deliver to switzerland ;-) I'm also wondering what sort of ammunition you use, its verry loud, i only use low loaded pistol match ammo, in you vid it seams that you use someting like mini mag?
Nice shootin Tex! How far away from these targets are you? Do they still mfg these pistols and can you tell me approx cost for the one you have minus the grips and new trigger?
I'm afraid I can't answer that question. I don't do that type of shooting. I do believe that it is very competitive with pistols in its class. Accuracy depends on items such as sights, and the skill of the shooter, of course.
"The largest commercial arms factory in Switzerland is the Hammerli factory, which is known for its superb match rifles and handguns" I just read this in one of my SDI books, but maybe they have a factory in Germany as well.
@@TH3L33TM3XICAN the Hämmerli Guns where first made in Lenzburg in Swiss from 1863 until 2003, then moved to SAN ("former" SIG) in Neuhausen Swiss until 2006 and then sadly went to Umarex in Germany in 2006. I worked in Swiss and mounted the x-esse back then.
I can't really answer this question. I love them both for different reasons. They are very different. Sort of like when I was in high school and was in love with two girls at the same time...see what I mean?
Great video...thanks. Doesn't get much funner than shooting a precision high quality 22 target pistol
En bra, informativ och underhållande video. Som framkommer i videon är det en väldigt bra pistol.

You get what You pay for...
Swiss precision as it's finest.
It looks like great shooting to me. Nice pistol nice video.
Great trigger.
@photoguy73 Hey, it isn't really easy to chane the trigger by myselfe, but just done it... really like the new pressure-point ;-)
I refer S&W Model 41, Browing Buckmark, Ruger Mark than this Xesse because the rear sights of those three did not move with the slide.
I love the model 41, but I find I am able to shoot more accurately with the Hammerli.
I assume the part where you shoot the orange paper dot.is off a bench? Roughly how far from the target were you? Curious how tight there group.
I have shoot the Walter made xesse for 6 months untill I bout my own 22lr a faienwerkbau aw93.

Great video. I mainly shoot position smallbore, but I want a nice relatively inexpensive target 22lr pistol. How does this compare to a S&W Model 41?
Larry's Guns, Gray, Maine, or use link in video description.
Hi,
Do you know the brand of these wooden grips ?
@photoguy73 Thank you, found it! Wondering if he will deliver to switzerland ;-) I'm also wondering what sort of ammunition you use, its verry loud, i only use low loaded pistol match ammo, in you vid it seams that you use someting like mini mag?

Great review, thanks.

@photoguy73 Hey, just became the trigger delivered! Thanks for your help!
How is this pistol holding up over the years?
Very well. Much better than me!
I'm afraid I can't answer that question. I don't do that type of shooting. I do believe that it is very competitive with pistols in its class. Accuracy depends on items such as sights, and the skill of the shooter, of course.
Hi there I love that pistol, where did you get the wood grips?
how accurate can it be for silhouette?
i mean can it compare with the benelli world cup or guns like that?
Nice Video. BTW the Pistol is made in Germany, not swiss. You can see it at the right side of the pistol.

Precise as a swiss....gun ;o)
hey, nice vid thank you! Where did you get the metal trigger from? Id also like to have one for my hämmerli x-esse.
Hello, what did you find about the metal trigger ? where did he get that ? did you have your pistol fixed with the metal trigger ?
Where can i find those aftermarket grips and trigger?
I shot this beauty today, really nice working target practice gun :)
Distance distance distance distance....????? None of these review videos from any reviewer ever tell you the distance they're shooting at.
I've been looking for the name of that pistol for sooo long!
How does it stack up next to a Volquartsen?
Habd you got tje barrle weight it keeps ot lazer flat in semi auto only thimg is i thimk styr male it as an add on
Do you prefer shooting this over your 41?

Great analogy! Cheers
Sir this is off the subject are you the Man that flys powered parachutes ?
looks like a S&W model 41 knock off, sucks that the rear sight moves with the slide!
