Graduation night crash kills teen girl, injures two others

- A 17-year-old Murrieta girl who was on her way home from her boyfriend’s graduation died in a crash late last week. Two other teens were also in the car, one who is recovering and his sister, who is fighting for her life. Rick Chambers reports for KTLA 5 News at 10, June 5, 2023.

I heard about this crash yesterday I hope those kids are going to be OK. So heartbreaking the girl friend died. My mom passed away at inland Valley in 2019. I really liked the nurses at this hospital they treated my mom and my self very well I feel like the kids are in good hands there.

this is absolutely horrible. my stepson graduated with them. the boy was on the water polo team with my stepson. we are praying for the families. heartbreaking 😥

Events feel surreal! If that was someone I knew, I'd hardly get any sleep, or lose focus on everything.
So why the hell they dont show us the driver who ran the red light? Show his face. Why hide a murderer? Hope he gets the death penalty.
Because he's WHITE and privileged! If the driver was a black person they would've shown his face for the majority of the report.

I hope this was not a drunk driver because it’s a horrible thing to know that you took someone’s life, but for a person to sit and drink and get behind the wheel that was a horrible thing and a horrible decision. A family is ruined, and another family have to put the pieces together for our child then going to need help for a long time for both of the children. Sad.😔

I was in a car crash with two others when I was 15... Hit by a drunk driver crossing a red light. The passenger side where I was sitting at was completely caved in.. I wore my seat belt. It pains me to see that this is still happening 18 years later. Technological advancements in transportation might help save lives. Cars are a thing of the past. The future is here. Commute accordingly. RIP 😢🙏🌬
