I think my appreciation for them actually went up over the years. Never put Gyro Ball and Shell Smash on the same set. Gyro Ball is also really problematic in a regular playthrough, as it tends to rely and sabotaging speed IVs to make it's power worthwhile. Even with base 30 speed, the IVs can really mess it up. I'd recommend Earthquake or Explosion, as unfortunately it learns Earth Power too late to be useful.
Dude, don't you know that you can get Earth Power with a Heart Scale which is way earlier than when you get TM Earthquake? Also, Earthquake or Explosion with 50 base attack?! *BRUH*
@@ShadowtheUA-camr523 I did not know about the heart scale Earth Power. With that information, Earth Power seems like a much better choice than any other options mentioned. I'll stand by Earthquake or Explosion being better options than Gyro Ball on a Shell Smash set. All of those moves are physical. To get Gyro Ball to 100 BP (Earthquake equivalent) you need your speed to be 1/4 the opponents. At that point, you would need to shell smash at least twice to outspeed your opponent, and only really be able to attack with your other moves , since Gyro Ball will then be useless. So, if you have Gyro Ball and Shell Smash on the same set, one of those moves will be nearly useless. Depending on the IV/EV Spread, Magcargo will be too slow for Shell Smash, too fast for Gyro Ball, or both. There is no such thing as a Pokemon that is fast enough for Shell Smash and slow enough for Gyro Ball.
@@ShadowtheUA-camr523 I did not know you could get Earth Power with a Heart Scale. That would be a fine choice. I'm not sure what's with your attitude though. In any case, the point still stands that Shell Smash and Gyro Ball should never be on the same set. Shell Smash should really only be used if it allows you to outspeed your opponent. So, your speed should be at least half of your opponent's in order to be effective. Gyro Ball's base power is 25*(opponens speed)/(your speed) with a maximum of 150. If the opponent's speed is double yours, you've got base 50 power. Triple is base 75.. Any Pokemon fast enough for Shell Smash is too fast for Gyro Ball, and any Pokemon slow enough for Gyro Ball is too slow for Shell Smash is the main point I was making. Nothing to be ashamed of. X and Y are fun. Introducing the Fairy typing was awesome, plus the gen added some awesome Pokémon like Aegislash.
I love X and Y. Its probably my favorite game other then Heartgold/Soulsilver, which was my first game.
Well if you think about it this team could probably still beat the game with ease
One X run my 'Ace' was a Dunsparce. Diantha let me set up two Coil on her Aurorus and I just swept the rest of her team. Her Mega Gardevoir went down to one Poison Jab.
Does anyone else really like digersby’s design?
Here. Its definitely grown on me over time
Well then, a Kalos worst team but with only 1 Pokemon that is actually from Kalos.
I know that Kalos is your least favorite, but is it compared to Black and white?
The only way to not win Kalos is to not play the games. They are SO easy. When regular trainers along the routes are more challenging than any rival, gym leader, Elite Four member, or the Champion, you know you've got a problem.
Fun Fact: Bats are considered a symbol of good luck in China, which is ironic, considering how and where the current pandemic started. I think we should all agree that eating a bat should be a criminal offense.
So basically put these teams together and battle for fun
i want to replay pokemon x and y but i don’t want to make a new save file or buy a new one
Your use of the letter ø as an o fucks with my brain... as an native user of the letter o what I read is “weurst team” lol
Nah luvdisc is cracked, just use attract + sweet kiss + charm then spam surf
