Brussouw was a bit of a one trick pony, strong on the ball sure, but he was slow, didn't carry well and didn't range around the field too much. Kwagga is a more versatile beast, a bit of a Michael Hooper-type of player, a little less sting in his defence perhaps but a whole lot of mongrel to his ball carrying. Somehow Kwagga added more beef to his frame without slowing down, and it paid off last year, he looked a level above most other players.
Brusssouw at the break down was so good. Like a mix between marx and kwagga.

Tough choice but I go with Brussouw. He's the real deal honey badger.
Brussow really missed out by not having Rassie as his coach
why vergelyk the greats? they are great all of them
Just for a bit of gees and debate 😊
Kwagga is probably more versatile, but I think if Brussouw had time with Rassie he would have been up there with the best.
Great insight. Brussouw could’ve definitely benefited hugely from Rassie’s guidance. Maybe also a member of the bomb squad
Two world class open siders although I think Brussouw had a better kicking game.😐
😀
Shame heineke meyer was bok coach when heinrich was playing his best rugby. Shame he was bothered by Heinrichs size..
Imagine Kwagga was rightfully picked at 6 and not that fake hero kolisi
Kolisi is quality and has had big games for the Boks. Only thing fake here is you.
Stop being so bitter. And let go of the past. Its not good for your health.
@@jksinorbit what big games?
@@12334ttqtqt no bitterness, I just have the keen sense to know when a player gets picked because he fits the narrative
