Are all the Springboks bi or tri-lingual? Do they not use one lingafranca on the field?
All of them can speak at least 2 languages... Some of the even 3 or 4. This is because South Africa has 11 official languages. As for what language they speak on the field i am really not sure. Probably a mixture of Afrikaans and English.
All of the white guys speak some English and Afrikaans (and maybe another African language). All of the black guys will speak their home language and English and/or Afrikaans. So yeah, most guys will be bi- or trilingual.

They speak Afrikaans. Sounds similar to Dutch.
Afrikaans. Similar to Dutch and Flemish. Its often called "kitchen Dutch" cos its a very simplified form of Dutch with some Milay and other African language words thrown in.
