You don't have to go to the gym, you can exercise effectively on your own. I am 75, told I look late 50s, no meds no aches or pain, no illnesses. Live on the 8th floor, and take stairs both up and down. I practice healthy eating and restricted eating window of 6 hours. Feel better than in my 50s. Live a life of gratitude, keep people who don't make you feel good at arms length.
Dude my mom was looking so old and I kept saying quit that school teacher job. And she was saying, look Nick. At how old her face looked. She quit at 65 and stayed to basically live off her garden she looks younger at 75 than she did at 65. Eating fresh produce and being in charge of your life. They really helped her
I am really blessed to be friends with a 70-yo woman who is a BEAST of a runner. She didn't grow up playing sports, took running after giving birth to her first child, and is now an excellent runner (she just qualified for Boston). I'm sure she had some genetic propensity towards running. But I am struck by her LIMITLESS mindset. She believes she can do anything. She is full of joy and energy. I really admire her and want to be like her.
She sounds like a very strong minded person and a great figure. But it terms of “looking young”, I doubt that a marathon runner can cut it, face losing fat and sagging skin, no?
@beastbombshell3589exactly. It all depends on the person. The same way as some individuals have stronger legs than others to run. Every person is slightly different and has different strengths and weaknesses
Am 70. I have to refrain saying my age when asked, because people get upset and walk away thinking I was sarcastic. When register for a senior trip they always told me it's only for people 55+ to be considered senior. It's a problem for looking younger than age. Take care of the body, a good diet, daily workout, and mostly the way you act and dress are important too. And lastly don't forget that no matter how good you are, your appearance is 40 but in the inside your body really feel 70, a healthy 70!!!! This video reflect my lifestyle. That's what we need to follow for a happy healthy aging. Thank you 💕
All anecdotal hype. Everyone should be able (regardless of age) to get up from a flat seated position on the floor, without using hands, elbows. If you are really in shape you can even still do pistol squats. These are finite measurements not just vanity. Kind of like the survey where they had a bunch of women choose the female figure that they most resembled. Almost all those 4’s and 5’s were now 10’s.
My late Maternal Grandparents would disagree that even if you look younger, you will still FEEL wahtever chronological age you are. They both felt 19 and 20 at 95 and 93. So you totally msised what the video was explaining that how you FEEL really influences your aging.
Dont get caught up on how you look or what others think how you look, it will only lead to disappointment eventually. Stay focused on how you feel and intuned with your inner self and also stay disciplined in taking care of your vessel.
I agree, only few of those I've met over the years who believe themselves to look significantly younger than their age, convey that sense to everyone. They are then disappointed when someone guesses that they are at or near their actual age. I'm much more concerned with maintaining a high level of physical functioning.
I agree 100%. I look my age and I don't mind, because my habits have changed significantly in the last 5 years and now I feel like a million bucks. It doesn't matter what I see in the mirror as long as I am pain-free, healthy and spry for as long as I can be. You are spot on.
I think I’m aging well at 44. My lifestyle is relatively well, never smoked, did drugs, or drink much alcohol. But I think the biggest contributor has been that I sleep more than most. I sleep 8-9hrs
Smoking was what aged people years ago...women have fewer kids with downs. I knew a woman who had a surprise pregnancy at 48 After her kids went to college Hubby got her pregnant hey look a little like her grandparents though
I’m 68 and I take no meds, I fast, I take supplements, I walk outdoors and I stay away from people who think “old”. Yes, it’s going against the current. Side note, my husband says I look better then ever.
I’m a 43yo mom. I started doing sprint HIIT, IF, weights, eating healthier and taking supplements. I can definitely tell it’s making a difference. I just feel better mentally, physically and look better.
Genetics is the most important part. I've never drank (not even once), zero drugs, always exercised, solid sleep, IF 16-18 hours, and a pretty positive attitude in general...yet I'm in horrible shape. Can no longer take walks, can barely lift weights. Body has fallen apart. It's genetics.
@@anioganesyan8034 whatever you are missing in your diet is the answer. So If you don't eat fish and seafood regularly that might be omega 3 and iodine. If you don't eat meat maybe B12. But you have to determine yourself ideally with help of a doctor and a blood work
My goal is to look like I'm still in my 30s when I am in my 50s. I am currently 32. When people guess my age, they usually still guess that I am in my mid to late 20s. I have baby face genetics on my side, but I am now making a more determined effort to take care of my skin and reform my diet so that I can look young and healthy for the long haul.
@@youunijayden375 you don’t need skin care . What you need to do is eat fruits and vegetables like mango, carrots, bell peppers, sweet potatoes, squash, cantaloupe and papaya on a regular basis. You’re skin will thank you 🙏
@@youunijayden375 I just started my skincare journey so it is pretty simple. I wash my face in the morning with a benzol peroxide acne cleanser while in the shower. This is under the direction of a dermatologist. I also immediately apply a moisturizer containing hyaluronic acid right after I shower in the morning as well. I also apply sunscreen every day before leaving for work. At night, I wash my face with a hydrating cleanser. After I shower, I wait 30 minutes for my face to dry and I then apply tretinoin to my face. Tretinoin is a retinoid which is supposed to help with acne and wrinkles and also increase collagen production and speedup cellular turnover so your skin looks younger. After I apply the tretinoin, I wait another 20 or so minutes and then I apply a moisturizer containing hyaluronic acid again to my face. That's pretty much my skincare routine right now.
Mid 40’s I am grateful for the decade I spent as a dancer and Yoga practitioner. Now I’m returning to professional dance and Yoga teaching - fitting it around single parent life/corporate 9-5/content creation. We can all find time. Doing planks while watching this. Big tip for super active people: Yoga Nidra for deep rest (20min naps). Thank you for this content!
Mike is the real deal. He packed so much in here. Why it matters and the best ways to start healing. Mike knows me, I know mike. We shared time at low carb events and in Austin. Miss you Mike. He knows my 120lb weight loss story. I literally started by chaning my breakfast to meat and veg, protein and fat. Exactly what Glucose Goddess says. I could then eat 5 times a day instead of 15. Then 4 times, then 3 times, then 2 times, 1 or none. I also found Primal worked perfectly for me: real food, healthy fats, no grains, no legumes, but yes dairy... Real food plus intermittent fasting got me more energy then moved more. Change your breakfast change your life....
I've been eating only fruit for breakfast for 28 years. While my 3 siblings are looking really bad, I'm the only one that looks healthy. And that's without the fat and water retention that smooths out the skin on a diet of meat and fat. I have many aging videos. I seem to be the happiest UA-camr. Doing great at 55. I'm surprised people don't want to follow my super success.
I just uploaded a picture to that site. It said I look 33😂I’ll take it because I’m 51🙌I lift heavy weights 5 days a week and cardio 2 days. I eat healthy 85% of the time, high protein diet no processed foods for me. Looks like I’m on the right track😊
I used to look a lot younger until my mid thirties. I think I look my age now. But I wouldn't rely on that website. I uploaded 4 different pictures, all current, and got three different results. The first time it said I looked my age. The second pic, said I looked 8 years older. The third pic said I was 9 years younger. The fourth said I looked 7 years younger.
Yeah, it can be a little weird! I uploaded three pictures of me when I was age 12 and it said I looked 16 in all of them. I mean, puberty did hit me like a bus and at a young age too. I think I looked more like 14 because of that, but 16 is a bit of a stretch. If I showed you pictures of me prior to 11.5 or 12, I looked more like my age in those photos.
I googled "how old do I look" and tried the first result website, it gave me age 43 (one year younger than my chronological age), then I tried the second website with the same photo and it said I look 57!
Guy at work last week thought I was 30-ish.... he was shocked when I told him I'm 49 ;-) Me new fitness goals are to prioritize sleep, and to be able to do muscle-ups this year. Calisthenics and Animal Flow are kicking my arse lately.
I stopped ageing when I learned how to do serious meditation. I went on a 2 year retreat where all I did was meditate, do breathing and yoga for 10 hours a day. Not very practical but hell I started ageing backwards, I also realised that life goes way beyond just the body and preparing for that is also worth pursing and is hard to see if we are obsessed with observable reality. I started ageing again normally when I went back into the world.
@@thegreat9481 Give it a go and then come back to me, isn't that the point of being scientific try something and if it doesn't work disregard it? Your mind will be blown away my friend.
@@BigLion321 Sure, around 10 years ago I was looking for answers like most of us and started exploring spiritual practices. This lead me to do a long two year retreat where that was the only focus. You got up early, fasted for most of the day and spent all of it in meditation, with some yoga and reading thrown in. I was completely disconnected from the outside world as there was no internet or phones. Was an amazing experience and you kind of live in a constant state of joy, bliss and happiness. Don’t get me wrong you definitely have to face a’lot of inner demons but your forced to face them and let them go without any distraction. Being in prolonged states of inner peace and joy did things to my body where it felt like I started to age backwards, my face started to have a constant glow almost. I have no idea about the science behind it but I have witnessed miraculous things through my years that most people wouldn’t believe. This could possibly be the missing link not only for longevity but for humans to take that next step and reach our full potential. The only problem is serious spiritual practice and ritual isn’t fully accepted yet or at least studied by western science. I think once that gap gets bridge we will finally take a step forward in having more clear answers. Right now it seems most people are to stuck in a logical scientific approach to themselves and the world.
As someone who immigrated from northern Europe when very young and grew up in the Florida sun, I can tell you that sun exposure matters too. My mother, at 89, who did not have early life sun exposure like me, still has relatively youthful looking skin, with no obvious age spots or purple blotches seen on many people here of similar age. Some areas of my skin look older than hers. I wonder if damaged skin sends detrimental signals that affect other parts of the body. I suspect so to some degree.
It's not solely sun exposure. It's sun exposure with seed oils in your diet. My skin is much better without the seed oils and other food-like substances. My wife gets way more sun than her friends, and her skin is much nicer too. PS: My improvement was with FAR MORE sun exposure.
@@Bloom2Growu can pretty much get more than enough vitamin D with full sun exposure for only around 15 mins depending on your skin tone. Usually I like to always eat outside in midday sun with no sunscreen once a day, so for around 30 mins a day. I wear sunscreen on my face but not anywhere else, and the sunscreen I do have on my face is from when I put it on 7am so a lot of sunlight still filtering through
Yep, the choices you make today shape how you look in the future. I'm 47, and most people think I'm in my lower 30s. I never drank or smoked in my entire life, i eat a pretty good diet, manage my stress, and I've been working out consistently for 28 years. I honestly feel like I'm in my early 20s when it comes to energy and mobility. Now my brother, who is younger at 43 looks like he's in his mid 50s. He has a stressful job (police officer) has to deal with an ex wife, never worked out a day in his life, and eats terrible. Hes also probably 150lbs overweight. He's on all sorts of meds where I dont take anything except some supplements. All metabolics, AIC, BP are perfect. We were at a funeral recently and all my dads friends thought I'm the younger brother.
@@szymonbaranowski8184 Nope, for some reason 2 things taste just absolutely awful to me. Anything alcoholic (including sparkling juice), and coffee. Just the smell of beer turns me off. I don't like flavored water, pop, or anything like that either. Just water for me. Not sure why it is, I've just always been that way.
@@1999TransAmWS6I'm 23, but that is the exact same for me. I've never drank and I have no desire to. It's just not appetizing to me. All I ever drink is water. No coffee, no alcohol, just plain water, and people think I'm crazy.
@@brads8350 That's awesome. Personally, I never got the point of it. What also helps is I find the flavor of anything with alcohol gross. One life lesson is never care what anybody else thinks. Do what you think is right. I found it funny through the years when my friends would get offended I wouldn't drink a beer. It's like subconsciously they knew it was bad for them and felt better about drinking it if someone else did too. Nope, I'm good with my water. As a joke when we'd go to a bar, I'd pull a George Mcfly and order a chocolate milk. lol
@1999TransAmWS6 @1999TransAmWS6 I agree and well said. I think most people get into those habits because of that sense of, "well it's just what normal people do, so I guess I'll do it too." Also funny about the milk, I'm the same whenever I go out for a nice dinner. Everyone orders wine or some other type of alcohol, and I'm just there getting a water.
Thank you for sharing. Attitude is everything! A Great teacher of mine used to ask me when I became upset/negative/ stressed or straying, "What's your Altitude!?" (a play on words of "I don't like your attitude.") “Mind precedes all states. Mind is the Chief; If with a pure mind a person speaks & acts, happiness follows like a never-departing shadow.” If we habitually respond to life with thoughts and emotions that are aversive or grasping, we’ll experience greater suffering. If we respond with mindfulness, patience, and compassion, we’ll experience greater joy. age 38, & still getting carded (everything you've said from this study is true)
Just fyi.... berberine changed my life. I'm gonna check yours out! I would love to support your mission and I've been on autoship of that particular supplement from GNC for years.
A lot of it is genetics. Doesn't mean you should take it for granted. Mindset really matters, especially once you hit your 30s. So many decide that they're old, and, hey presto, old is what they become. I was at my strongest and fittest at 36 whilst everyone was slowing down, purely because I decided I could and that I would, and so I did.
when we stop we die it's mostly drive and constant movement or habitual movement forced by conditions around that keeps us focused on living and slaloming between problems successfully who looks down and behind starts thinking too much and finding trouble previously invisible
@@melissakey2483 "No, it isn't" So you're saying a lot of it ISNT genetics? Because it is. Nobody said anything about lifestyle not playing a role. My whole post is about lifestyle choices, assuming you read it.
@@marco_cee_ Only between 7 and 25% of how someone ages is due to genes. This is what the evidence has shown. Again, you can look this up. You may inherit genetic tendencies, but as we know from the study of epigenetics, your own lifestyle choices turn genes on or off. You are largely in charge of how your genes "express." This is very empowering, but it does mean we don't get to blame our genes for much.
I just experimented with the How Old Do You Look website and the results were interesting. The first photo rendered 1 year younger than my chronological age and I then took care to smile and knocked off another year the second time! However, this doesn’t click with the “WHAT?” reaction I consistently get from people who say I look 10 or more years younger than my age. Hey, it’s a fun experience, though, and I’ll keep repeating it as I continue to adjust my lifestyle.
I am 60 and feel pretty great; I credit my pretty good eating habits, no smoking or drugs; little alcohol, lots of good sleep; lots of walking and time outdoors with my horse; I credit mostly my horse, a sentient being who keeps me happy, young and connected to the Divine

Your videos are very informative, i’ve learned so much over the last few months (since discovering your channel) an find myself frequently sharing your videos with friends and family. Thank you for making this content, keep it up, you’re honestly great.
I know for a fact that I aged faster from 2003 through 2018 than I did from 2018 through 2023. I suffered from degenerative disc disease, hypertension and hyperinsulinemia. Since then, my change in diet has driven marked improvement, and I've noticed it in my vigor and my attitude. PS: FWIW, that web site says I look three years younger than I am. Would be interesting to see what it would have said five years ago. I may have to dig up some old photos.
Some premature aging is actually quite common in ve😢active , healthy people who are lean and muscular due to loss of facial fat and may not indicate an unhealthy disease process but just a propensity for some people to lose facial fat along with other body fat.
I’m 43 and feel the best and strongest I have ever felt in my life. I eat basically 1-2 meals a day modified carnivore. I feel and look like I’m in my late 20s early 30s. Younger Than I did a decade ago, before I had 2 kids.
I retired early from nursing. I’m a young mine 58 yo. I missed people & took a job as host supervisor at a busy restaurant. I never worked in this industry before. Always the healthcare industry. Anywho I couldn’t do it if I hadn’t been working out daily for the past 40+ years. I workout before shift walk & lift then check steps after work & I’m always 20,000+steps. I’m not sure if I look younger maybe. People think I’m in my late 40’s I just smile. I take care of of myself & of course want to look my best & in America we place so much emphasis of beauty on youth that that’s interwoven in our cultural belief system. So, yes, looking more youthful makes you feel better about yourself which in turn will make you improve your diet, exercise etc. But everyone is interwoven. Everything touches & affects the others. I have a youthful mindset. I’m happy. I laugh. I find things that stimulate & challenge my mind. Thank you so much for sharing your videos
This is crazy: I'm 31 but I routinely get mistaken for being in my early 20's or even a teenager. But when I uploaded my photo to that website you mentioned, it guessed my exact age!
Mike, you’ve provided a lot of good information overtime I’ve been following you for quite some time and I’m gonna be acting on some of your tips like creating different Sonos from my house as well as the cold punches
I just did this one experiment in which I posted a bunch of photos of myself to the site. It gave me different ages! Some results gave me different ages for different photos even ones that were taken on the same day. I compared myself at different ages to see any differences. I think I'm rather ambigious regarding how old I look but I think the lighting, angles, and facial expressions are what's giving me random ages with some being much older (more than 5 yrs).
@@ModelJames13 yeah, like when I was 21 people would have thought of me being 17-18. And this one time, there was this one man called me "kid" when I was 22. I think these people were being generous. @@reylo99 Haha, yeah it was the same for me. Sometimes still is. A couple months back I was talking to a high school guy at a park and he asked me what school I go to. 👀❗
There are environmental reasons for aging including the way you treat your body. I believe it has a lot to do with genetics, basically the hand you were dealt. Of course that's fairly easy for me to say since I've been hearing I look younger than my actual age my entire life. I'm 51 and I've heard I look early 40s and sometimes late 30s but I take that with a grain of salt. I haven't really done anything special. I smoked and treated my body like an amusement park for years. Nowadays I take better care of myself watching my diet and exercising but that is fairly recent in the scheme of things.
Ok, I uploaded 3 pics on the site and got 55, 53 and 38. Granted light and angles can vary a face to an extent. All pics were taken within the last month. (I'm 66)
One of the benefits of eating carnivore: people think I'm a lot younger. I'm 71. I've eaten carnivore for 5 years. Generally, I workout at the gym 5 days a week for 2 hours a day. One gym friend told me he wished his father looked like me. I told him about keto/carnivore.
Havinga balance is a key. I’m 52, 1-2 x week I allow myself to relax on my diet and enjoy a few beers. The rest of the week my diet, exercise, supplement and sleep regimen is strict. Supplements and sleep are always on point daily. People often think I’m 20 years younger. Have been consistent with this lifestyle for the majority of my life. I don’t do any fasting, I just have 2 meals and a protein shake per day 6 hours apart.
Your eating pattern would be considered intermittent fasting, 12/12 and you're taking diet breaks to maintain metabolism on your cheat days. If you weren't already healthy it might have been helpful to tighten the eating window or adjust the diet breaks paced differently; but since you're already healthy you're fine doing the minimum version. You've essentially figured out the minimum 12/12 intermittent fasting pattern with cheat days that you've done long term to maintain health. For someone not already healthy they would need to be a little more strict before moving into a maintenance pattern like you already achieved.
@@Vincent_Beers Yep. Been doing it this way for years. For example, last nights cheat meal was pizza and 2 large pieces of cake after having 6 beers! Typical weekly event for me that I look forgot and enjoy! Saturday I weight 147. Monday I may be 150, but Tuesday or Wednesday I’m back down to 147 again.
I’ve been doing a semi-carnivore diet w IT and my skin looks noticeably better. My skin is no longer splotchy and texture is soft and smooth. I’m really surprised.
The Dunedin report is pronounced dun e din! The name comes from the Roman name for the capital city of Scotland - Edinburgh in Scotland. Scots moved to New Zealand! Great video, thanks.
Everyone says my Husband and I's faces and skin look between 15-20 years younger, we do no surgical enhancements or treatments, no fillers, we are au natural. We are in our 50s and we don't work out, but we eat Primal/Keto/Carnivore 85% meat and 15% plants, we eat very high fat. We walk or hike on occasion. Our brains are fast and youthful. Sharp as a tack. We keep learning all the time. We've have had great lifestyle habits, rarely have wine. We have eaten a high animal food and nutrient dense, all Organic and Grass-Fed diet for many years, for me it's been 2 decades and for him 3 1/2 to 4 decades. We take very selective supplements. Not all supplements are equal. We've had friends our age not want to hang out with us for being mistaken for being our parents. So most of our friends are younger, and we look their age. We have a youthful mindset and attitude toward life. Many people who spend time with us forget our age and think we're younger, we have to remind them. We are living examples of true longevity. We walk our talk.
Love the part about future self. Every morning I wake up and first thing I look back on is if I ate in excess the day before. It is just automatic and I need to be more happy with the answer!
My case is different. When I was a teenager I looked like a woman in her 30s. People used to ask me " Do you have any kids"? 😢Now I am 32 and people think I am in my early 20s. The same thing happening to my sister, my mom and my Aunts. When my mom was in her 30s people thought that my sister and mom were sisters. Now my mom is 66 but she looks like in her early 50s. I think our age is going reverse after 30.
Thanks as always Mike. Have you seen what Bryan Johnson is doing with the blueprint? What do you think about his approach to using rigorous measurements to achieve longevity? Would be cool to have an interview with him; he’s on a run now so I’m guessing it wouldn’t be that difficult to get him to agree.
I really think maintaining health habits are so beneficial to humans. I personally love ageing up! and I feel blessed by Mother Nature to have reached 43. I’m personally aiming for 💯 and beyond! Also the website had me down as 27 I’m a very happy girl!
He talks of staying up late as if that in its self is going to age you.. yes if you LOSE hours of sleep because you're staying up late it would be detrimental. But sleeping during the day and being awake at night for many years will protect you MASSIVELY from UV exposure. I sleep for 8 hours every day, It's just during the day. Waking up at 8 am daily and spending all your time basking in UVA rays (that penetrate glass) isn't automatically keeping you young
I turned 62 this month. I was ordering a bagel on my birthday. The guy at the counter thought I’m 31. My mom used to get pushback when she’d ask for the Seniors’ menu… when she was in her 70s. So, is low glycemic is actually good? I mean the only healthy carbs what i eat are green bananas. Because i found out they are lower side of glycemic index. Overall my food choices are quite keto - salmon, bunch of cauliflower, a little bit avocado here and there, tomatoes, blueberries and some strawberries. I have a chance to buy organic peanut butter with chia seeds. Good choice for dessert. I also drink alot of water. Because i'm doing intermittent fasting daily. Problem is, i'm fighting with acne. It's totally crushing me. And thanks to that i have tendency to drink wildly. I do this very rarely. When i feel nothing's gonna go better. I do so much but my acne still fucks me up Your channel is a blessing, man.
A similar research done on identical twins revealed the same conclusion. The one that looked older internally biomarkers showed faster pace of aging too ✌️
42 years old, same body weight as when i was 19. Been taking Niacinamide, cordyceps/lions mane, omega 3, creatine, and others. Lots of cycling and lifting weights. This summer i have been told 3 times i seem to look younger. And i agree 😎 🤙🏻
You mentioned at 7:00 mark, "hypertension, higher blood pressure, chronic kidney diseases, CVDs, obesity, loss of strength". All are the results of sedentary lifestyle.

Yes, when I was teaching, I used to work out daily, eat right and do the right thing because I didn't want to retire and look old. My husband keeps saying I look like I'm in my late thirties,, mind you, he's biased, that's for sure. But we work out, both of us, and fasting has been a part of my health regime for 30 years. I'm 40 but just went to a derm who thought I was 26... My mom always tells me I have the mind of a 13 yo, so that must be it! 😅 Now on a more serious note, if you have good genes, a healthy lifestyle, taking care of yourself physically and mentally, wear sunscreen every day and stay "young at heart" (always learning new things, having hobbies, having fun and enjoying life, keeping your friends and family close, travelling, dancing, reading etc.), I think you will look and feel younger... I also don't like the "dress for your age" style advice, I think you should express yourself the way you see fit.
I could have told you without watching this video...and I have not yet, that aging relates to the mind and as long as you keep your brain active and how you look at life is different, then what essentially happens is that the body not necessarily reverses itself, but it restructures itself. I am a gamer. :) I keep my mind active a lot, love being creative, and finally enjoy things now in my life, I should have enjoyed 20 years ago, but never had the chance. I still do not feel my age and its strange that, as when I look back at older pictures of myself, I looked far worse. I realised that happiness, and true acceptance of one self and one's faults and strengths in life ensures that you perceive life differently. The people who age quickly are the boring, stiff people in life who sadly, have nothing going for them. Yes, they make money. Yes, they may be successful. And inside- they are dead to themselves and to their families. Sad state of affairs. :) I will state that I did come across one or two well off people in life, who pleasantly surprised me with how they perceive life. It is a nice change and something I am grateful for witnessing as they are as rare as the most rarest fish that is never seen by human eyes. People want to be adults, and take on responsibilities...and somewhere along the way, they forgot they had one life only. Yes, your spirit may reincarnate multiple times if you are one of the lucky ones, but this life time... is 60-80 years dependent on genetics of a person's particular line. Will you waste those short years, assuming you do good in life and be an ass in life...or do you buck the trend and be something unexpected? It would be hard to separate 1) negative attitudes about ageing leading to accelerated ageing, from 2) those getting more negative about ageing because they are ageing faster.

they didn't look at the reproductive system, that's what I'm most interested in with this concept. Will a woman who appears younger and has a lifestyle of healthy habits and a lot of lean muscle mass perhaps be able to get pregnant and deliver a healthy baby into later years than a female who looks older and doesn't have healthy habits
Been in peace and present moment u age slowly than normal. Be mindful as much as possible! Positive thoughts follow good feelings . Potent immune boosters. Don’t worry be happy!
I think those websites report back that all people look younger. I tested this theory on faces that clearly look their age or older and it identified them as younger always no matter what.
It's not perfect! Even photos taken on the same day can vastly differ in age. Take two photos that are under that circumstance. The site would say that your face in one photo would look three years younger than your actual age. The other photo of your face could be seen by the site as looking ten years older than your actual age. I think the biggest factors (in no particular order) that have an affect on age detection in photos would be filters, lighting, angles, and facial expressions (smiling, frowning, keeping a straight face, etc.).
I'm 57 was told I look 37... Sounds good, but behind that is that I have autoimmune disorder and due to it I'm disabled. Due to my life long struggle to stay in my best just for daily functioning I guess it reflects. But I don't necessarily feel good about it because I *have to* do my best to barely function.
HGH (human growth hormone) is the key. fasting and exercise can increase your hgh up to 2400%. healthy lifestyle and happiness are also affecting your hgh

Bro you look great!! I guess you are 30 or so. Can you share your routine in a day? What you eat? exercises? I would love to see something like that...thanks!!
I definitely believe you start "feeling old" when your body's aging triggers start ocurring. Pain, lack of drive, cognition, physical strength, etc are all tied to your biological markers.
You don't have to go to the gym, you can exercise effectively on your own. I am 75, told I look late 50s, no meds no aches or pain, no illnesses.
Is she a gilf
I agree. I'm 62 but look in my 40s. Nobody ever believes me. But I love it
It’s encouraging to hear how you are thriving. I think the bias is worth it. Keep it up!👌🏼👏🏻😎
My late Maternal Grandparents would disagree that even if you look younger, you will still FEEL wahtever chronological age you are. They both felt 19 and 20 at 95 and 93. So you totally msised what the video was explaining that how you FEEL really influences your aging.
Everyone thinks I'm in my 40's, they even deny me a seniors train card. I actually just turned 149.

Dairy gets a bad rap. I've never had issues with it and it's been a key component of my diet for decades.
I've been eating only fruit for breakfast for 28 years. While my 3 siblings are looking really bad, I'm the only one that looks healthy.

Yea ok lol

This all sounds very interesting. Can you tell me more? I'm not being sarcastic, I genuinely want to hear more of that story
100%, my grandmother stayed out of the sun and moisturised her face. Always had supple skin up until the day she died at 91
It's not solely sun exposure. It's sun exposure with seed oils in your diet. My skin is much better without the seed oils and other food-like substances. My wife gets way more sun than her friends, and her skin is much nicer too.
PS: My improvement was with FAR MORE sun exposure.
Not enough omega 3s as well
But don’t you need vitamins D from the sun?
@@Bloom2Growu can pretty much get more than enough vitamin D with full sun exposure for only around 15 mins depending on your skin tone.
No, it isn't. Studies show that lifestyle choices play a much larger role in how people age than genes. You can look it up.
when we stop we die
it's mostly drive and constant movement or habitual movement forced by conditions around that keeps us focused on living and slaloming between problems successfully

@@melissakey2483 "No, it isn't" So you're saying a lot of it ISNT genetics? Because it is. Nobody said anything about lifestyle not playing a role. My whole post is about lifestyle choices, assuming you read it.
about 20 % is genetics. 80% lifestyle.

I’ve watched you for years but THIS is my favorite video. Please share MORE!!
That's because A.I. is stupid. It did the same with me. Other peoples' perceptions are all that matters.
@@ModelJames13 yeah, like when I was 21 people would have thought of me being 17-18. And this one time, there was this one man called me "kid" when I was 22. I think these people were being generous.
Same here, agree with your statement very much!
It is mindset. Your cells communicate the data you give from your intentions, thoughts, etc. Good video. 👍
With your genetics, you'd become even younger-looking if you ditched the beers-straight poison.
We walk our talk.
a good life long friendship adds longevity itself
Just imagine how much better you'd be if you ate raw meat and raw organs
@@matthewgonano636 We Do and Did!!! My Husband is One of the Original Primal Guys from the '80s, and has been for Almost 40 Years!!!
Love the part about future self. Every morning I wake up and first thing I look back on is if I ate in excess the day before. It is just automatic and I need to be more happy with the answer!
Balding is not usually a reflection of men's poor lifestyle habits if it runs in the family though.
It's odd, since some start losing at 16
I just love the information that you provide because it is something that really helps us to stay healthy.
I’m glad I found your channel! 🙏🏽
Awesome video Mike; its packed with Wisdom nuggets for great health and longetivity. Thank you so much.
I really think maintaining health habits are so beneficial to humans. I personally love ageing up! and I feel blessed by Mother Nature to have reached 43. I’m personally aiming for 💯 and beyond!
Also the website had me down as 27 I’m a very happy girl!
43?, you're still a baby😊
He talks of staying up late as if that in its self is going to age you.. yes if you LOSE hours of sleep because you're staying up late it would be detrimental. But sleeping during the day and being awake at night for many years will protect you MASSIVELY from UV exposure. I sleep for 8 hours every day, It's just during the day. Waking up at 8 am daily and spending all your time basking in UVA rays (that penetrate glass) isn't automatically keeping you young
Nothing prideful about vibrant good health, just healthful!
I earned every single one of my scars and wrinkles, there's no dishonor.
Yes u earned through bad diet and laziness
@@colorme6536 🙄boy, you're clever
@@colorme6536, Yup that's me, you nailed it.
Mate i love your energy. Super high compared to few years back. 🎉
I turned 62 this month. I was ordering a bagel on my birthday. The guy at the counter thought I’m 31. My mom used to get pushback when she’d ask for the Seniors’ menu… when she was in her 70s. My grandmother made it to 98, one of my aunts turns 99 next month, and will release a self-published autobiography on her birthday. I’ve been vegan for 20 years. The longest-lived, healthiest humans on the planet are the Loma Linda, California vegans. Coming in at #2 in the world: Okinawans, with a 98% vegan diet.
I do so much but my acne still fucks me up
Your channel is a blessing, man.
A similar research done on identical twins revealed the same conclusion. The one that looked older internally biomarkers showed faster pace of aging too ✌️
I know twins
One smoked the other didn't
The smoker had breast cancer
42 years old, same body weight as when i was 19. Been taking Niacinamide, cordyceps/lions mane, omega 3, creatine, and others. Lots of cycling and lifting weights. This summer i have been told 3 times i seem to look younger. And i agree 😎 🤙🏻
❤
One Example of this is Gordon Ryan from the BJJ scene. He is 27 years old but he looks like he's in his 50s
You mentioned at 7:00 mark, "hypertension, higher blood pressure, chronic kidney diseases, CVDs, obesity, loss of strength". All are the results of sedentary lifestyle.
I’m over 65 and don’t have many facial wrinkles and possess all my hair. I do 100 push-ups, sit-ups. 20 pull-ups 50 squats daily as base workout. Also do a sport, lift barbells twice a week.
..wow
It's creates stress
Yes, when I was teaching, I used to work out daily, eat right and do the right thing because I didn't want to retire and look old. My husband keeps saying I look like I'm in my late thirties,, mind you, he's biased, that's for sure. But we work out, both of us, and fasting has been a part of my health regime for 30 years. Fasting and prayer. Blessings to you all!
Amen to fasting & prayer? Bless you both!

Greetings from California … I wish you and folks good health, success and happiness !! Much Love ✌️😎💕
I'm 40 but just went to a derm who thought I was 26... My mom always tells me I have the mind of a 13 yo, so that must be it! 😅
Now on a more serious note, if you have good genes, a healthy lifestyle, taking care of yourself physically and mentally, wear sunscreen every day and stay "young at heart" (always learning new things, having hobbies, having fun and enjoying life, keeping your friends and family close, travelling, dancing, reading etc.), I think you will look and feel younger...
I will state that I did come across one or two well off people in life, who pleasantly surprised me with how they perceive life. I prefer the latter. ;)
It is what I look for...when I look for the 'perfect human being.' I don't need sheep. Contrary to the idea in life.
Ive recovered from unrecoverable injuries they told me at 52. I spit in the face of that. Soon i will be running a 5k then a 10k then a half . I will do it
The saying goes - "do we age because we stop being playful or do we stop being playful because we age ?". Exercise is the best anti-ageing medicine.
Had to jump through hoops to join your channel. I'll probably get cancelled for saying this. Keep up the good work Brotha!
It would be hard to separate 1) negative attitudes about ageing leading to accelerated ageing, from 2) those getting more negative about ageing because they are ageing faster.
Im 34 and people thought Im in my 20's. Just a healthy lifestyle is the key.
0:04: 🔬 The age of your face reflects your inner biologic age, which can be accelerated or decelerated by your habits.
3:22: 🧠 Recognizing and changing habits is important for cognitive health and aging.
6:49: 🔬 Chronic diseases like hypertension, chronic kidney disease, cardiovascular disease, and obesity are closely correlated with an accelerated rate of biologic aging.

Hi High Intensity Health. You were killed by Lifting Vegan Logic yesterday. I was just wondering how you're holding up with that.
Optimal feeding window strategy for those who work out daily? eg, weight lifters, runners, etc
they didn't look at the reproductive system, that's what I'm most interested in with this concept. Will a woman who appears younger and has a lifestyle of healthy habits and a lot of lean muscle mass perhaps be able to get pregnant and deliver a healthy baby into later years than a female who looks older and doesn't have healthy habits
According to Dr. Sarah Zaldivar, she has many post menopause clients who regained fertility with strict fitness and carnivore diets!

I am 50, and often been mistaken as a 20s or 30s year old. I hate to disappointing people by telling them my chronological age.
Been in peace and present moment u age slowly than normal. Be mindful as much as possible! Positive thoughts follow good feelings . Potent immune boosters. Don’t worry be happy!
I am 51 years old. I have no wrinkle on my face at all.
I started taking supplement n vitamin 2 years ago.
Thank you for this important info.🙏🏻

Thoughts on trauma and premature aging of the brain?
Bro you look great!! I guess you are 30 or so. Can you share your routine in a day? What you eat? exercises? I would love to see something like that...thanks!!
I definitely believe you start "feeling old" when your body's aging triggers start ocurring. Pain, lack of drive, cognition, physical strength, etc are all tied to your biological markers.
