Be way faster if you thought on the lines of short dirt long, long dirt short. Doing it from the back on that second slot your pushing long dirt long which takes along time which isn't efficient at all. Pushing short dirt passed where the dirt goes like a (pivot line)then stacking gradually works better so youre not pushing up a ramp until you actually need too.
Bench loading in this video is literally what would get run off my job site or replaced. I realize CAT is coming from a safety stand point but you should not ever be turning that hoe 90⁰ to load. Nor should you rotate another 90⁰ the opposite direction to grab material. 22.5⁰ to 45⁰ MAX!! The depth that your bucket is tall from the heel to the head. That way, you don't have to worry about stability or reach.
There are numerous ways of loading a truck on a bench. In this case, he is just showing 1 way of loading trucks. It can be more efficient if you can swing less, but every job site and condition can vary.
great advice here ............. thanks from the uk

Also, you never reach the full depth unless it's under 6 ft. Take it down in levels.
