Dozer controls and setup CAT D6T

so im on a d6t today with trimble the ground is on grade and as soon as you press auto the blade just starts bouncing up and down side to side out of control ?
never used trimble on a cat before only on a komatsu any ideas cos cant seem to get any answers at work - basically im grading up the best i can using the light bars really could do with auto but it seems to have a mind of its own when engaged

Hi just wondering do you have to de Accelerate when you change from forwards to backwards when working the machine thanks

You should always dip the de accelerator between forwards and reverse bud
