So glad there is a park near the skim boarding area! I’m glad the city is prioritizing outdoor life like parks, hiking paths and hopefully more biking paths! Great video!
With all the growth happening in the area it is nice to see a video that doesn't talk about all the development of houses and businesses. We need more open space and places that we can go to recreate and not spend money. We need more places that we can go to get outdoors and enjoy our beautiful part of the state. There is always going to be growth and we can't stop that.
As a new homeowner in the area your channel is the best. Do you have a website that shows when they stuff completes? It would be nice to know when things you mentioned as fully ready for the public
Thanks for another great video! Could you please share where you found the image of Las Colinas park? It looks different from the one on the city website, and I'm curious about it!
It be so awesome if we had a focus on fitness/calisthenics in these parks in St. George, I know we’ve improved because we have the fitness park at Atkinvile Wash park but that’s towards the edge of town it would be nice to have one closer and more of them incorporated throughout the parks
Love your videos! Could you possibly consider a video on public transportation in Washington County? My sister wants to move to St. George but doesn't have a car and would need to get around. Thank you!
Do you know if they have any plans or ideas for a large Pickle Ball center? I feel like there needs to be another one like they have in Little Valley because no matter where I go I am always waiting for a court. They did build the new ones downtown but from what I understand those are only for city workers.
They just expanded little valley a few months ago and added about 10 new courts if I remember correclty. It is now the largest one in the state. Other than that, it'll probably just be a continuation of other smaller courts throughout town in the different parks that continue to be built. It's definitely a priority
Where do I find more information on the Sunbowl? I’m having a hard time with the math on that one. How do you cut it in half and still have room for a rodeo? I love the Dixie roundup and go every year. Such a great tradition. Please keep us updated on this one. I’ve been hoping for updated seating for a long time. Sitting on each other‘s feet and trying to get in and out of your spot has always been a challenge.
They're still working on everything, it's not a final concept yet. But they are consulting with the NFR and redoing it that way is closer to what a lot of rodeo arenas are like. Whatever happens, the rodeo will be a top priority for sure. And i think with a smaller arena and elevated seating, it'll be a much better viewing experience for the fans

Agreed! And thank you!

100% agree and that is why i love the emphasis on parks, trails, and rec facilities that the cities and county have for this place. Its truly amazing
As much as I like most of the developments and stuff I couldn't agree more.

St George definitely has some of the best parks and areas compared to the rest of the state. It's great to experience it first hand.
I would like to see the virgin river trail connect with Quail Lake / Grandpas Pond area.

That's a good idea i'll see what I can do!

Do you know what happened to the planned trail off from Dixie Road toward Santa Clara?
You did not mention Royal Oaks park. They just tore our playground down.
Ah yes they did not give me info on that one. I just confirmed with the city though and they are putting the new playground in within the next month
Who is building and when is this skatepark being built ?
I just included that on my last video. Designed and built by Spohn Ranch and construction is set to begin in July
@@macraeheppler Sorry, I was talking about the 3 little skate parks you mentioned sir
We need bigger, better rec center downtown, also upgrades to the old city pool
Skate parks are gonna be lit because there's only 2
I tried to find where its going and couldn't find it
