As a Rockies fan living near SF, for 43 years, Giants fans were pumped up after the Solar, Snell, Chap, and Lee. Then I told my Giants fans friends: Chap.240 Solar will not get near 35 HR Snell, cant go more than 5.2 innings Lee??
.....Giants fans seem conditioned to believe one or two big dollar deals is some form of a "solution".....but to be really blunt: more than half of all the teams in the MLB are currently hovering at mediocre levels at best. Only a handful of teams are tearing it up well above .500; the wild card is now a series; analytics is killing the game; players are seeking the largest payout, not necessarily seeking to "hone in their skills", let alone give a flip about any fan base....which most ownerships definitely don't care about....

This team is horrendous. I cant believe we have 2 starting pitchers and no viable options to bring up to replace the 3 or 4 guys who are never ending injured. What a shitty job building the pitching depth and lets start to question why ownership is okay with below mediocrity
Right about now would be a great time to throw Sean Hjelle and Mason Black into the starting rotation and give them the space to figure it out 👆
