  • In this video we will go over how to assemble the cap. This step is one of the more easy parts of the build as long as you oversized the top part of the cap and slowly cut it back to fit tight. You will need snips left or right offset snips, a pencil, and the basic soldiering items we have been using.

    Looks like this part needs to be pretty precise. I wonder how much pressure a cap like that would hold.

    Is there a way one could design In a clamp with a seal like some other stills have? Similar to what you used on your thumb barrel? Or do you think that this will seal just fine by itself?

      Yes actually that is something I added later. I would use a 4” Ferrell between the collar and cap. Just size those 2 parts around the Farrell. I got my 4” stuff from brewers hardware
