  • In this video we will be putting together the condenser. We fit the 2 hose spigots and fit in the worm
    Tool list:
    Soldering items
    Drill
    Clamps
    3/4” hole saw or uni-bit or dril bit
    3/8” drill bit
    T-square optional

    Since you carefuly threaded it in, if you were to use plastic hose fittings with rubber gaskets, wouldn't you be able to run water through her without leaks? Just trying to do this easily. I still love the looks of copper for the worm, mine is copper but didn't come with inlets or outlets for the cooling water so i will decide which process. Also, i was thinking of using the brass valves like yours but with teflon tape and since she isn't under pressure, think it might be ok. I have a 300 gallong ibc tote outdoors that catches rain water off my barn. The opening at the bottome is a plastic ball valve and i have attached a hose fitting into the cap using only teflon and she has never leaked going on five years now. tom. nice video!

      Ya I think you can use just about anything. The worm itself isn’t under any pressure at but definitely needs to be stainless or copper. The condenser body can be whatever as long as it holds water

    a copper condenser, this this a bit excessive? a simple 5 gallon bucket would be cheaper. If it was a pipe version i would understand.
