As a person with a small knee issue I became a fan of the Vomero 16s coming off the Pegasus and Infinity Run. Was an even bigger fan of the Vomero 17s. I was also a fan of the Invincible line so I’m excited to see how they merge the Invincible into the Vomero lineup.
I will be buying these on release. I love my vomero 17s and really on used them on easy/long runs. So the weight doesn’t bother me and glad it has more cushioning
The Vomero 17 also had a light stability that worked as well as the Structure 25 for my overpronation . The V17 was a tinny quicker only vs. Structure 25 . In the end the Structure had a wider platform and was much more ventilated for summer time. I still got my Vomero 17 and the rubber is lasting longer ... I was impressed with the durability. Will see if the new Vomero 18 will be also a tank, a breathable tank 🤔
Well, if you add 6 mm of stack the weight is probably going to go up. It’s a training shoe after all…and it’s a max cushion shoe! 🤷♂️ Can’t wait to get this on my feet.
Really excited about this shoe! Love the max cushioning. Also love all of the old retro Nike cues on this shoe. Yet it looks modern. Sad to see the Invincibles going away, but this will be a worthy replacement.
@ well hopefully the build is better, i have been always ended up NOT buying the invincible as a lot of quality issues arised especially the glue of the midsole, a lot of people ended up returning the shoe as midsole glue wont hold up so long 😢
I write periodic messages on Running Warehouse UA-cam videos asking Connor what happened to Jamison… they were one of the original shoe reviews duos I watched. Hope Jamison is ok.. seems like he was going through some strange times.
Don’t know which one it’ll be but you can figure one of the Vomero shoes will be the new Invincible. As they are merging the Invincible into the Vomero lineup.
So it's a clunky, i guess i will remain at my kayano, but does look nice, improved roominess and stability makes it v interesting. Does it feel disconnected from ground, given the 46mm stack?
46? so the same stack as the Magmax but it looks way lower than that. the Triumph looks like it has a bit more stack than this from looks. is nike deceiving us?
@@RowOfMushyTiT I really don't think pegasus premium are for me, since I don't need air units in the heel. my favourite pegasus was 37-38, they want you to land forefoot.
@@OWS777yeah love my skyward x at first but later on it just feel so heavy, i'll stick to the up tempo line up as a lighter runner, I can do my easy runs on my ZoomFly6 and deviate nitro 2s.
Seems like Nike has simply reorganized its product strategy in terms of organization only. None of these new line-ups/shoes is top five in its category (outside of racing shoes and Zoom Fly 6); seems like Nike continuing to head down style/gimmick over substance path. Shocked to see Zoom Fly 6 already on sale for just $127; meanwhile Speed 4, DV8 3, Rebel 4, able to hold line of price.
Hi team Since we get shoes much later for buying than the reviews , it can be helpful more of you can suggest some alternatives to other brand and within same brand if any which will make us decide whetger to wait or not to wait for the shoes as well.....
hoping this becomes our coaches shoe next year.., last year we got pegasus'.., which are fine for coaching, but I would like to be able to run in them from time to time.. and though I could do that with the peg.., I rather not.. hence I bring another pair of shoes to practice.
@ it’s not a regular carbon plate. It’s as flexible as plastic plate but I see your point. I was thinking of buying the superblast 2 but decided to buy the zoom fly. Better value imo.
So now Nike try to make the running shoes like soccer cleats? If the cleats have an elite, pro, academy and club this will have the normal one, plus and premium? Interesting Nike
I agree. As long as it isn’t like wearing bricks on your feet, and wearing a heavier shoe is just going to make you that much stronger, and make your race shoes feel that much better.
I’m really liking Nike’s new approach to categorizing their shoes. It makes it so much easier to understand what each shoe is designed for. I hope other companies take note-it can be tough to figure out a shoe’s purpose without a little guidance.
Mind blowing to me that this guys still don’t understand that an “heavy” training shoe will make you faster in racing shoes. Professional runners do not care about this shit and UA-camrs bombard us every day with the“weight” problem. 🤦🏻♂️
It goes against the Asics Novablast 5 and Adidas Evo SL, at least price wise. Sorry Nike but at that weight it's a hard pass. It will sell well tho, as there is many Nike fans out there
Too gracious guys! Come on! Nike can do much better! But instead they want to make 3 tiers of the same shoes in an overly chaotic lineup. This is Nike we're talking about, they make the AF3 and VF3. It's just so absurd, they think people still hold the Nike brand the same as people did in 2018. This is actually one of the reasons I'm trying to avoid Nike at all costs possible. It's a shit shoe! and from all the options people have this is literally waste of materials and production
Shoe weight only becomes a factor - when my wife gets angry 🤬 and throws my newly bought running shoes at me for buying too many shoes.🤦🏻♂️🤣😂
You too?
Alphaflys wont hurt ❤, to mich bounce

Morning all. A good description. For my 65kgs, I prefer the Nike Pegasus 41. Like to Meaghan and Thomas. A nice week for everyone.

Between two shoes - Puma Magmax. Both big stack, heavy, good outsoles, bouncy, comfy
Any word on the plus / premium versions drop dates?
Well, if you add 6 mm of stack the weight is probably going to go up. It’s a training shoe after all…and it’s a max cushion shoe! 🤷♂️ Can’t wait to get this on my feet.
Can you include running footage in your reviews from time to time?
Really excited about this shoe! Love the max cushioning. Also love all of the old retro Nike cues on this shoe. Yet it looks modern. Sad to see the Invincibles going away, but this will be a worthy replacement.
The Invincible is going to be rebranded the Vomero Plus.
Ed bud wants his point system back, there was nothing wrong with the way you were doing things.
Bet it was Rob’s idea
Too many reviewers focus on weight as if they have the sensitivity to detect variations.
Sheep specs
Word! I think it’s irrelevant when we’re talking about max cushion daily trainers.
It's about their opinion
Eh I agree mostly but 330g is not hard to notice 😅
It's noticeable ones it goes 300gm+ especially if you're a lighter runner it adds up on longer sessions.
This is probably the first Vomero 18, I’ll purchase
So that means the invincible series is gone correct?
It’ll be the Vomero Plus equivalent

I'm curious, will the Vomero Premium have a similar concept to the Pegasus Premium?
It will be the Invincible 4, so pure ZoomX and lighter.
Don’t know which one it’ll be but you can figure one of the Vomero shoes will be the new Invincible. As they are merging the Invincible into the Vomero lineup.
@@ceduncanson It's the Plus. The Premium is a completely new max cushion shoe with air pods.
Vomero premium will have two exposed airpods/airbags, there are leaked photos already. Vomero Plus will be new Invincible

again 10mm drop...
I'm waiting for a trainer that mixes zoomx, zoomair, reactx n some plate... and please, no more 10mm drop
Pegasus Premium does this except the plate.
Personally I prefer 10 mm drop and flat over lower drop and rockered.

Nike 10mm drop has never been 10mm in real life, more like 8.
Thomas was not happy in this one !
What ring are you wearing Thomas
oura ring

Yes
Invincible 4 will be named Vomero plus. Vomero Premium will be like nike’s skyward x with two airpods and plate

So many people are asking for 6mm?
So, if this is now the max cushion line for Nike, what happens to the Invincible going forward?
no invincible, anymore. The Vomero Plus will be the equivalent to the Invincible

Is it just me or is the entire video is lacking some sort of lighting?! come on guys, we can barely see the shoes in your hands..
Is Nike getting rid of the Invincible Run? Or will it become the Vemro Plus?
Zoom fly 6 is the best nike aside from vf/af. No need for Pegasus or vomero.

weight is important, makes you stronger... go for heavy shoes and build muscles.. you dont want to be a thin unhealthy looking person
Kipchoge begs to differ …….

Is it just me or does it not look like a 36mm in the forefoot. 😑
Best $150 just go for adidas Evo sl or adios 9 for lower to the ground feel
