Next to the Star Trek Saga, this was televisions most dramatic and telling Science fiction series ever. They need to bring it back and run it from the beginning. It's so amazing.

Let's hope we get a Crusade complete story in the reboot of B5. JMS ahead of the time again, reference the effects of virus on the population and the people losing out. I wonder if that is why Billionaires are trying to build spaceships to try to escape the blockade. (sarcasm)

the one episode it was so bad.... it would have been better if they had made it with actors laughing ..as it took itself too seriously with so many obvious things and funny (like the gun... with the lowering of that woman ... the screaming was ... well kinda funny... )
I am one of Bab 5"s big fans. Crusade however, I tried to love it and failed. This could be an updated remake of Gil Gerrards Buck Rogers season 2 with the searcher as it"s maguffin spacecraft. MJS dropped the ball and hence failed to secure the Bab 5 universe on TV into the future. His Crusade was season 8 of game of thrones.
The idea that there were races as old as the Shadows still around does not follow canon, as far as I know. All the first ones allegedly went beyond the rim millennia before, and were later joined by the Vorlons, Shadows and Lorien.
After resolving the Drakh Plague a conspiracy of mixing Earth tech with shadow technology would be uncovered (that mysterious ship that destroyed the EAS Cerberus). This conspiracy started way back before President Clark came into power. The Excalibur crew would be framed as criminals to cover it up and would be fugitives cut off from Alliance aid for the remainder of the series as they try to stop said conspiracy.
A cure would have been rolled out in Season 2, but it would have been a false cure. Something worse. Gideon’s crew, having discovered this secret, would have been declared traitors and marked for destruction by the EA. I guess being banned from Twitter wouldn’t suffice.
None of the Babylon Universe is flawed. All episodes , movies and stories are EPIC. Get stuffed anyone who disagrees with me, or go watch Big Bang theory loser show.
Crusade was a bad show with a flawed premise. It tried to be like Star Trek in a franchise that grounded itself on political intrigue and epic story arcs. It was baaad. But Legend of the Rangers was the worst piece of trash I've ever seen that was connected to the B5 universe. It's hard to believe that the people who made 'Severed Dreams' were involved in that rubbish. Lost Tails was only slightly better but still a shadow of the original show. If JMS ever does another B5 show, it needs to be properly funded and not written and directed by hacks.
From what I understand they also aired Crusades differently than what J Michael straczynski and the show creators had envisioned. By that time TNT own the rights to Babylon 5 and 2 Crusades and change the original order for which they aired. This caused a lot of disjointed stories and kind of strange what's happening moments. Nevertheless sci-fi shows are notoriously very difficult to produce their costly have a lot of set pieces distant places an element that have to be created instead of just bought off the shelf as in you can find in some more traditional Earthbound shows

Crusade was great. It had great potential. It wasn't perfect, but was very different from Star Trek. In time, it would have proven itself.

Crusade was good idea, just terrible execution. The score was so terrible and somehow the CGI went downhill from Season 5.
The CGI ultimately showed it's age by season 5 as the budget for each episode was never increased.
Also they should've used the Ben-Hur class for the Excalibur.
Loved the show, hated the music. Christopher Franke was a hard act to follow.
Was this set after the finale of Babylon 5? Then how is Sheridan still alive?

Legend of the Rangers was SciFi channel dribble. They did the same thing to Stargate SG-1.
