@@kennetha.4253 Alright, i did some experimenting, loaded 20 worlds with the bonus chest and not a single one of them generated below surface. I'm pretty sure that is due to the fact that Minecraft generates the bonus chest on the highest possible generatable block (i.e. not air, leaves, etc.). This is a screenshot I took a few months ago on the demo world seed showcasing this exact feature; I can't send the link because it would get caught in the spam filter but the imgur code is zr6qBm4 Even if you were somehow able to bypass the surface check and get the chest down there (assuming it generates on one of the vacant stone blocks) you would still have to break it and do something with it before your inventory burns in lava. You have a 3-second invulnerability phase after dying/relogging, plus .5s for every damage tick. Considering it takes 6 damage ticks to wipe your health it takes 5.5s to burn in total. It takes 3.75s to break it with your hand, and according to the wiki it takes an additional half-second to pickup the items. You would somehow have to be able to get rid of all your items without burning them within 1.25s, or at least the pickaxe, and I'm not all too sure if you can realistically do that with human reflexes.
Imagine getting this seed in hardcore and getting softlocked in the end.
it would be the saddest thing going to the end and not finding the end portal to go back after playing in a hardcore world for a year

It's amazing that a game can have endless possibilities like this. Even preventing you from beating the game. This has never been done with any other game and it truly embraces the randomness and chaos of the universe.
the term softlock exists because there *have* been bugs in other games that prevent you from beating it lmaooo

@@dandyspacedandy does the term "hardlock" refer to what you're trying to explain here? If I recall, softlock is used when you need to reopen the game to fix the lock.
Hardlocking, to the best of my memory, is used for when you get permanently stuck, forcing you to completely reset the game and your progress to fix.
Please correct me if I'm wrong.

It does not qualify on the prison rules. But if it you are allowed to load carrying a single item then you can carry a water bucket to survive the lava.

I've played a world where I wasted a good day in real time trying to find the end gate in a stronghold that generated all squished up, only to find there wasn't one, then had to undergo traveling more than 10,000 blocks south to find a second stronghold, hadn't ever thought of this scenario though
I had to do that too on this bedrock realm my friends and i were on, we ended up making a like 4000 block or so ice bridge in like 2 days to get far enough away that one definitely would’ve spawned. was surprisingly fun
this is one of few things that i would allow myself to switch to creative mode really quick to fix if it happened to me
while i usualy skip the sponsor (even if the transition is smooth as hell) i cannot skip the sponsor where antvenom says people who leave the top of a tree uncut are degenerates who dont take care of their balls

I was playing Minecraft with a couple mods on a while back, and the stronghold spawned *inside* a big structure, and the portal ceased to exist, kind of a shame
theres multiple strongholds
I had a ravine cut through a very small stronghold and only 1 room existed, just a simple staircase. That stronghold was right next to my house too.

You can spawn outside the lava pool in the last seed by setting your respawn radius to a higher number, it is 10 by default.
Before creating the world, you have to go to game rules and set the respawn radius option to a higher number. Doing that you will spawn above the surface(probably).
Yeah but, that’s not a vanilla survival thing. Requires cheats enabled, and if cheats are enabled, you could also just teleport somewhere else.
It doesn’t really require cheats. The allow cheats option maybe off, it is just a change in the respawn radius which will allow you to spawn outside the lava pool. You can still play that world in Vanilla Survival without cheats.
You can make a change in the game rules before creating the world while still having cheats off

Or you can just change the seed in the level.dat through an NBT editor, then enter the end. After killing the dragon, change the seed back.

Players should spawn with 5 blocks of dirt if they die a certain number of times (configurable by game-rule) and the end escape portal should have some sort of minimal Y axis spawn limit to prevent these things.
How to survive the lava spawning seed, keep relogging into the world and.try to mine a stone block, the relogging will make you invincible for around 5 seconds
That wouldn't work; I've tried it. Exiting resets the mining time.

That lava spawn reminds me so much of that one seed from Beta Minecraft that did something very similar, but I believe you could actuality dig your way out through dirt.

@@higueraft571 i really love dragons to begin with so it always kinda hurt to kill her. but after i learned that the ender dragon is a SHE and that her name is Jean. that broke my ability to harm her especially when i put two and two together that she is just being a good mama dragon and guarding her egg. Mojang... if you guys read this, please make an update that lets us spare her and be her friend.
Fun Fact: This video marks the end of the old iconic black border, after 2 videos that had missed its borders, AntVenom was quite unsure to the change, after going back with the border, he then removed it completely, which can be seen for quite a time. This means the end of an era. Or maybe he will put it back one day. Rip Black border 2021.
That "Spawn in Lava" seed reminded me of Kikoskia's first attempt at a Harcore run. It spawned him INSIDE rock and he suffocated. Never got to see what the overworld looked like, beyond the fact chickens could be heard as he died in rock.

That last seed with the lava, I went and tried it in 1.17, it is the same spawn for everything there, no blocks to climb on. The only change is the gold ore is gone, and in the bottom right there is copper ore.

I had a seed with my friends in 1.15 on PS4 bedrock version, every stronghold i went to would somehow result in the end portal frame never spawning everytime, the strongholds would always be filled with solid stone somehow. Maybe i could revisit it after seeing this to try and debunk it more🤔

for the lava one i wonder if you can break the block so that the progress of breaking it saves when you leave, and you can extend invincibility with the leaving and entering trick (sometimes when you break a block and do something else immediately, the progress of breaking saves, most commonly when breaking a block 1 block higher than you can reach and you hold punch and jump)
I ended up in a version of the lava pit world once. I was scouting worlds to start playing survival on, and one of the worlds that generated put me in the death cycle. Needless to say I didn't use that one, lol.

The reason why only the top 3 blocks spawn is that the game tried to replace the ground a bit, to make the rim of the portal flush with the ground. If it tries to spawn the portal at 0 0 0 however, it tried to spawn the blocks where the void is and thus where no blocks can exist

I had this modded world years ago, I had put hundreds of hours into it and I spent about 7 hours looking for a desert, I finally put the world in a program to see if there was one and there wasn’t. I’ve never heard of a bug like that. I couldn’t finish the mod without cactus so I had to give myself 1

Minecraft Manhunt's rules state that Dream only needs to kill the dragon. He doesn't need to enter the portal, and this situation has happened many times.

I have an idea for the end altar one. If you knew, you could craft two ender chests, place one at your base or spawn, and when you are done, place all of your items, or at least the important ones, in the second ender chest before dying. Then you can open the first chest and grab your stuff back. I also have an idea for the second one, just turn the world to creative.

Just use a command code and spawn it in. There is no "unbeatable" seed on pc you can just cheat
Wow gee, it's almost like: Cheating doesnt count. Which is why speedrunners dont just spawn in a Sharpness M sword, and Power M bow and go straight to the end

0:20 for other games and minecraft yes. but in some games there is a credits button that credited the peoples that put effort to the game so technically you can beat the game in 0s or beating it without knowing how to play
Once when I was playing on my PS4 I was unlucky enough to have a huge chunk glitch happen to me, literally half of the End island was gone like it was just cut in half, so no altar, most of the towers were gone, and there was no ender dragon either, it was quite disappointing.
If you want to surpass the chunk overwrite limit, you can make something that makes you spawn past it. It can’t overwrite chunks if there aren’t any previous chunks loaded.

I'm only at 3:03 but this is why I liked the way I remember 1.7.x being where the end portal it's self would only spawn after the dragon was defeated however I remember also back then it would spawn where ever the dragon died so it would end up floating I think... however I personally think this could easily be fixed by making sure the portal spawned after the dragons death and only on the nearest surface point. however there could be other issues with this idea but it's just an idea.
I count beating minecraft as fighting both boss mobs, getting every single block and getting every single achievement.
