Thank you for taking us along. I am planning to go to the final sale for rugs and artwork (primarily). I called the auction house and let them know I found the estate sale from your channel. They do not release the address of the sale until 48 hours prior to the sale but am planning to go with the hope of getting some awesome discounts. Your expertise is greatly appreciated.
Thanks so much for the kind contribution! Glad to hear you will shop the sale. Watch out on Sunday 75% off day for the dealers. They bring trucks and trailers. Much appreciated!!!
@@LadyMaryBeth thank you for the tip. If I'm able to ditch my husband, I will come prepared.
When does this sale begin? Sorry if I missed you saying it. Still watching
@@michelleseveney9113 Sale starts this Thursday!
This blows my mind. People with a lot of money and trying to fill a void by purchasing.
Sad, but true.
I can't imagine why anyone would need all that stuff unless they planned to sell it.
they do not need it, they have a sickness@@princessdumbarton9877
Once again I’m dazzled by all those beautiful items❤ I can’ t believe the prices !!!In France valuable antiques are really expensive and you keep your finds for your entire life. We don’t change our décor at each season, just for the Holidays , so it’s more difficult for thrifting. When I see What is on offer in the USA , I can believe it . Thank’s for sharing Lady Mary . I improve also my English by the way 😂😂😂With love. Dominique Die Elsasserin
Always great hearing from you, Dominique! 🥰
I can’t believe the prices. Wish I were closer.
Last day of the sale is 75% off. Dealers show up with trailers.
I can't imagine why anyone would want to own that much stuff 😮
Truly overwhelming. They could not sit on a couch or sleep in beds.
Just when you thought you saw it all… you could easily do your Christmas gift buying at this house. Great insight on how this started. Welcome Back, LMB!
Gosh, the amount of MONEY that was spent on items that were never used, just packed away and forgotten. It leaves me speechless....
It's overwhelming and sad.
Thanks for the preview and back story on the hoarder. Very insightful! 😮
Sad, but true situation. 😕
My goodness! So many goodies, but my heart skipped a beat when I saw the double candle holders! I don't believe I have that pattern. Getting ready to move, so a lot of things are already packed. Loving the blue/white pieces! I also like the rug in the very beginning too. Very pretty! Thxs for sharing as always.
Those Duncan & Miller double lights are tempting. Hope your move goes well.
This person had good taste in her finds, that's for sure... selling it all off, I'll bet she still made money, probably finding these items through the years at a great deal.
The widower was glad to finally get through all the sales. It was overwhelming.
Yay!! Lady Mary Beth episode day!! My favorite day!!! Thank you always for all that you share!! Hugsss from Utah!!!
Love hearing from you! Thanks for watching. 😘
Oh my gosh. This stuff would make me mental.
I could hardly eat lunch after the first visit to this hoarder house. Very upsetting.
Thanks for sharing. I like your respectful explanation of the homeowner’s circumstance. What a relief it must be for the family to get the much needed support with a daunting task.
Thank you for the backstory. You can imagine the fabulous life they led traveling and living abroad. In the excitement and joy of their shopping discoveries they may have lost sight of just how much they had already shipped home until they actually arrived home! She may have had the concept of her shop already or planned her purchases with the idea in mind! I would loved to have known them both. Their purchases highlight what they thought about many aspects of their lives and I can imagine they were both wonderful company and conversationalists. Thank You so much for the visits to this estate sale. One of my Uncles was mayor of Grosse Pointe, Michigan back in the day. I can imagine what estate sales might have been in the area back then before the collapse of the economy in the area.
You have a wonderful perspective and I believe you are correct. They had a wonderful life together.
WOW!! What an abundance amount of Beautiful items🥰💜 Thank You for taking us back with you 💜💜 Have a Blessed Week💜💜💜💜
The family will be glad to finally empty the house. Thanks for watching! 😘
Great video LMB! Loved the black French dinnerware!
I have a question??? I know you have a lot of beautiful candle sticks in Crystal, silver and wood…do you burn candles in them or use frameless ones? If you burn candles - how do you protect the wood tabletops, linens and candlesticks from the wax white or colored?
I burn candles in all my candlestick holders. Sometimes, I use a bobeche crystal under taper candles to catch the wax.
LMB, love your bird pendant/bead necklace - it's unique and beautiful. By the way, I see my future in this video if I don't stop buying things.
We can always change our collections and taste by donating and gifting to others. This will lessen the load. My necklace is an "all-in-one" from China Baroque.
Good morning Mary Beth. Wanted to let you know that I’ve just started this video and I can’t wait to see the treasures! Thanks for sharing!
Wonderful! Got your message yesterday as I was filming in Bellville, Texas. Thanks for watching!
Love your necklace, please tell me about it
Made of a porcelain piece by China Baroque.
Hello. I have really enjoyed this episode but I can’t find the previous one.
Here is the link to the first hoarder sale. ua-cam.com/video/prshpA7WJDY/v-deo.htmlfeature=shared
Thanks! Any ideas for thanksgiving tablescapes?
Chinoiserie + pumpkins is the perfect Fall recipe. 💙🧡 Look for a recent Fall inspired thrifting segment. There are other autumn tablescapes on the channel.
Omg loved the lady you showed ..and the Santa cooky jar ..thanks for sharing..
Thanks for watching. It’s never too early for Christmas. The cookie jar is tempting. 🎅🏻
What a fabulous experience this Estate Sale is, oh how I would love to be able to go there such an array of goodies, again LMB I could spend a small fortune. As always greeting from UK.
Thanks for coming along for this final estate sale. Hope you are well!
Many lovely items and beautifully organized by the time they were done. I can't shop when there is so much though as I feel overwhelmed. Hope you get the white pitcher.
Sale starts Thursday and I might shop it.
WOW! The unending estate sale! Thanks for taking us along. As my mother used to say, “Some people have more money than sense!” 🤣. By the way, I really like your dress!
It's sad to see the continuous hoard. Will be a relief to the family when the house is empty and can be listed for sale.
My children already say the same about me!! Lol! I am offering them the things they may want now. Gifting some things. It is best for all.
@@treshamassey804I try to do the same thing, but the younger generation is just not living a gracious dining lifestyle and certainly not interested in antiques and "brown" furniture, no matter how old. I hope to live long enough to sale my things in a downsizing estate sale, thought it was against our POA rules, but there was one held recently in our neighborhood, I guess an exception to every rule.
I know. My husband has his great grandfathers oak dresser. No one seems to care or appreciate it. One child talked about using it as a coffee table and removing the attached ornate mirror! He is now considering offering it to my son, his step son, who may take better care of it. 😢
@LadyMaryBeth That's rich coming from you, beth mary lady. Looked at your own house lately? You should talk.
My goodness what a sale, I have never seen so much in an estate sale. Did you purchase any wonderful treasures?
Sale starts this Thursday. I do like the Imperial Glass lidded small pitcher. 🤍
Sorry for the family but lots of people can make use of the hoarde!
Good news is that these items have a new life now. The sales were a huge relief to the widower.
I sure hope the people who allow you to video know how much we appreciate them. Another fantastic video Lady Mary Beth. YOU ARE AWESOME!💕
The estate sale company is kind to let me film. Thanks for your encouraging words! 😘
The screen is STUNNING ❤
So many treasures! I absolutely love those black dishes. Thank you for taking us to the sale. So much fun!
It was a huge assortment of the black Arcoroc. Wish you could shop this sale.
Agree with your comment about checking out garages. Have found great deals on ladders and stepstools - very important household items for short people!! Found great deals on ‘good’ vacuum cleaners - master bedroom and craft room now have their own vacuum cleaners. Have also found tools that I never knew I needed.
It’s just incredulous to me how they can still have things!!! Still some great treasures be had!😄😄😄
For people commenting negatively about the original owner - the hoarder - please understand that hoarders are unwell. Often hoarding starts because of an extreme loss in their life or a traumatic event. The act of getting things can act as a sense of security, and comfort and the hoarder will often have a deep emotional attachment to the items even though they might have thousands. It isn't just a matter of having a lot of money and not knowing what to do with it.
Love a screen - not just a room divider but also to round off an awkward corner. I would grab those Mexican glasses and the table runners too. A great adventure with you today x
Thought of you with the barware. Lots of hand-blown Mexican glassware in Texas.
@@LadyMaryBeth haha! You know me so well! I don’t actually drink much ( I get sick before I get merry) but I love glasses etc. My job involves sipping and a bit of spitting. A future video might be ‘I thought of you when I found this ornate, three-tiered blue and white willow pattern spittoon with barely twist legs and this beautiful backstamp’ ! If anyone can find such a thing it would be you!😂😂xx
Hi lady Mary Beth, always enjoy coming around with you lv Ann ❤️❤️❤️🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧
Thanks for watching, Ann! 😘
I enjoyed looking at everything. Hope you got the blue and white vase/pot with the pineapples.
You looked so beautiful in your dress and jewelry ❤
Thanks! The estate sale starts this Thursday. I have my eye on the blue and white pineapple pot.
I found a large 12” diameter and height Capodimote floral piece with a N Crown Standing Horse back stamp. what can you tell me about this porcelain & the back stamp.
Good find. Have shared the history in a previous segment. ua-cam.com/video/GbgkZAyD4kE/v-deo.htmlfeature=shared
Too expensive for most people's taste. These aren't bargain prices!
75% last day of the sale!
Most dealers shop the last day.
@@LadyMaryBeth
So with that in mind it may perhaps be more advantageous to cover the last day of these sales and obtain a more truthful understanding of prices. This would more adequately reflect the wonderful bargains to be had at affordable prices. My comment remains as a suggestion only! Regards.
I just love watching you! You’ve taught me a lot.
I forgot we weren't in a store. 😅
That is true. It's overwhelming.
Excellent program, Lady Mary Beth !
Thanks for watching!
Thanks for sharing, enjoyed the video today ❤️😊
I appreciate you watching! 🥰
What was wrong with them???
So many lovely items! I wish I were closer!
You can find sales in your area with estate sales.net
Thank you LMB for another fabulous video. So interesting to see all the collected items...yes there is a lot and hopefully the estate sale was a big success 🦋 I especially liked the Santa cookie jar Dept 56 has some lovely vintage like holiday items. And you look very pretty as always 🙂
Thanks for including this post. I enjoy the estate sales. Maybe sometime you can include men's clothes from some of the thrift stores. I'd guess buy things for your husband, lol. Thanks again.
Good point. I will share more men's items in the future. For this sale, it's mostly just ladies' clothing. The husband is still living.
OMG...fabulous shopping.
This will be the last of the sales. It’s been over a year of clearing out the hoard.
this is my first time here. i enjoyed very much . from Charleston Sc
Thanks for joining me here. Glad you found the channel. I appreciate you!
@@LadyMaryBeth yes I did
Thank you for sharing the family story. Their treasures were quiet something! I just loved the little white pitcher! Your ability to select a location, film and share details is first rate!! The best! ❤❤
Thank you so much!
I moved from Texas back to California. Now I miss the shops and prices I used to pay. 😂👍💕
Road trip to Texas would be fun.
I went to the last one and got some amazing items.
Fantastic! This sale starts Thursday.
@@LadyMaryBeth Can't wait!
I'm so glad you went back to this estate sale to show us what's left. I can't imagine all the work that went into getting this sale ready. Thank you 😊
Dealers will show up on the 75% off day and clean them out. Will be a huge relief to the family. They will sell the house and close this chapter.
What a sale!!!!! Thank you for taking us along!!!!
Thanks for watching! The sale starts this Thursday and I might just go and shop.
Thank you. ❤
I am definitely planning on shopping at this estate sale!!! Thank you for the link and for the video. 😊
Glad you will shop it!
@@LadyMaryBeth I just wish that I’d watched your video with the first estate sale. I am not sure how I missed it. I’ve been looking for a good estate sale company since relocating to the area recently. 😊
I just realized that the first video was from before I moved to the area. Problem solved lol
Thanks!
Huge thanks! xoxo
your welcome@@LadyMaryBeth
Thank you for the video and information. I am learning a lot from you, in one of the recent video you talked about SID blocks, and I found one in eBay next day and sold it for $100 a week after I posted it. I personally don’t like when people, like that woman, called hoarder. She was a collector in my opinion or dealer may be went overboard a little but looks like it was bringing her a joy
Glad you found a Sid Dickens memory block to sell. Hoarder is a strong term, but one used by the family. Yes, it must have brought her joy.
How many storage units do you have Lady Mary Beth, it's a business, people would need a storage unit or in some cases a warehouse.😅 I have a collection of little boxes displayed on a tabletop, some of the Limoges peint main like you fancy and my cousin visiting remarked, "how long does it take to dust these," and my husband replied, "not so bad, since she seldom does it." Most of my box collection consists of boxes he bought for me in his business travels. I think of storing them away occasionally, but they give me pleasure.😊 I love the eighties Fitz and Floyd made in Japan, a good Dallas Company.
Limoges boxes bring such joy! Storage units can be helpful with college moves and other changes in life. Having 6 large facilities would not be my choice as these folks had.
Thank you. MB, for concluding this story. Just last week I was thinking about this sale and the circumstances. I hope this helps the family and all involved to move forward and find relief. 🩷💚
