I adore the way you educate your viewers on different details and backgrounds of the items you show us. Your voice is very soothing and the presentation is professional. I'm sold!
Brought home the $5 Waterford bowl, Chinoiserie Rose Medallion plate and stand, Badgley Mischka shoes, and the Lenox dishes for a friend. It was one for the books!
Dear LMB, yet again a 1st class presentation! I cannot get over the beautiful Hutschenreuther tea set..gorgeous! I hope you treated yourself to that Brahmin handbag.😊
Thank you so much! I passed on the Brahmin since I have lots already. Got the $5 Waterford bowl, Chinoiserie plate with stand, and Lenox for my friend.
Such beautiful things! I adore the pattern of that Tuscan bone china from England…$75 for a set of six, and the Limoges trinket box, who am I kidding I want it all! if I was there I would run over everyone to grab things..not very ladylike, but sometimes you just can’t help it🤣. Thank you for taking us along🥰
What a amazing sale that was. Thanks for sharing. I could have dropped a lot of money there. The pricing was unbelievable. Thanks for sharing with us. I hope you have a blessed day. 👍
This was a delight to watch. At another time I hope you will tell us what you purchased there. I can’t imagine the work that goes into putting this sale together as well as all the work after the sale deciding what to do with the items that don’t sell.
Some items that now grace my home and closet: Gump's Chinoiserie Medallion Rose plate with stand, American Brilliant dish, Waterford bowl, square U.S. Glass Co. pitcher, and some linens.
Love that Italian drinks/tea trolly! So many items for laying a beautiful shabby-chic tea table and great prices too! BTW I have been invited to take photographs at a Fortnum and Mason event. I hear they do a rather good afternoon tea there! X
@@LadyMaryBeth friends are always more important than the food at such times. The cakes are gone in moments but special friendships last a lifetime. F&M would inspire anyone to present a lovely afternoon tea with delicate thrifting finds decorating the table. These beauties don’t even have to match! X
You are the best hidden gem at this rummage sale!! You are the sweetest, and remind me so much of my very elegant Aunt who always had the finer things :) Thanks for sharing!!!
Oh my goodness, I was so excited to see that I hadn't yet watched this video! I look forward to your Sunday videos! Wonderful treasures at the sale. I especially loved the "saddle bag"!🙂
Unbelievable pricing!! I would have come home with that bird tea cup and saucer, the Waterford, the Lenox Christmas china and the chintz china. I am looking forward to seeing what you found styled in your home! Love these shopping videos!
I can see why. I have never seen anything like it! My son Ryan is in heaven. Angels make me think of him and all of my other loved ones who are with him in heaven. @@LadyMaryBeth
Thank you for sharing your knowledge on the history of the various items being sold, very much appreciated. I also enjoy seeing at the end of the video items you are able to purchase for your personal use or for gifts, etc. 😊
Thanks for watching! These are the items that grace my home, wardrobe, and gift closet: Gump's Chinoiserie Rose Medallion plate with stand, U.S. Glass Co. "Illinois" square pitcher, American Brilliant dish, Waterford 5" footed bowl, and Badgley Mischka shoes. Got the Lenox "Winter Greetings" for a friend.
That first table and chairs you showed remind me of Duncan Phyfe. My parents had a Duncan Phyfe kitchen table and chairs and my mom still has the matching hutch. I’m about to go pick it up as we have had to place her in assisted living. She will be 90 on the Fourth of July.
A life well lived! Hope there is a celebration in the works for her 90th birthday. We also have a Duncan Phyfe dining table. Sharing the history of this furniture maker in the next segment.
I believe that those Fostoria place card holders are indeed supposed to double as ashtrays. In the 1940s, it was fashionable to include cigarettes on the formal dinner table. I have a 1940s crochet book with patterns for all the fancy tablecloths one can make, and one of the photos features cigarettes next to a place card holder very similar to the one you've shown. I collect the sterling cigarette urns that would've held rose cigarettes (handy for pretty picks when serving h'ors d'oeuvres), and those old glass ashtrays are pretty holding pink salt.
You are correct! A member of our Facebook group page "Lady Mary Beth's Table" shared a photo of the original catalog feature of this item. It is indeed a placecard and cigarette holder. Had "Dorothy" written on the placecard and offered a suggested alternate use as a nut dish.
I like what you are doing with your channel. You remind me of myself. Half the fun of decor is the hunt and spending years to fine tune the collections. How to interchange and mix them together for a more relaxed look is not easy for many people to do unless they copy what they have seen. Getting shades and colors correct is important for a table that flows where the eye can readily move across a table. I'm wondering how many millenials watch you who are now buying china and fine tableware for the first time. You may wish to also teach them how to properly set a multi course table and explain how the silverware and stemware is placed and why. Setting a formal table is becoming a lost art. The younger generations don't know what to expect at a formal function and need to be taught. Show them how to set up display cabinets too.
That WInter Greetings set is an amazing price! i"ll have to mark my calendar for this sale in 2025 - what awesome items and pricing. Thanks for sharing!

Hi. When you review this, you will see a large English bowl by Green. It was behind the tobby jug. Very collectible. It is expensive on the secondary market! Gosh. There are so many things I wanted. What great prices.
Fun video! Some wonderful items at great prices. That Lenox set for only $125 was a steal. The cut to clear eggs were beautiful. Loved the American Brilliant Cut glass too - I just started collecting that last year. So far I have 3 pieces. I'm hoping you'll go to the Houston Glass Show and make a video of that....??? The glass slippers were cute - I actually have the Waterford glass slipper sitting on a pillow I bought several years ago (I treated myself!). I hope you were able to buy some things you wanted.
Treasures that came home with me: Badgley Mischka shoes, American Brilliant dish, U.S. Glass Co. pitcher, Gump's Chinoiserie plate with stand, and Kendra Scott jewelry.
These were advertised as cigarette holders. A viewer found and shared on social media. There were indentations on both ends. Salt cellar is a good idea!
