You definitely got my favorite of the day and that was the five dollar Waterford Rose bowl. I love Rose bowls and that Waterford oh my gosh what a deal great video and thanks again for taking us along. ❤
Being in North Carolina a trip to Houston would be quite a trek but would be worth the effort. My choices would be the Waterford Rose Bowl, Congratulations, and the three tier mahogany table. I would fill the table with my collection of seashells, dried seed pods, little sweet grass boxes and studio pottery all of which my cats would immediately knock onto the floor. But one can dream. Fun video, thank you!
Great rummage sale - thanks for taking us along. That heirloom cruet set was amazing! Loved that cut crystal box too. You're right, that wedgewood china set was stunning. Loved the Lismore Waterford bowl, glass candelabras and red mantle lusters! That Waterford rose bowl was a great find - I like rose bowls too. I have a pretty Fenton Rosalene one. Fun video!
Thank you Lady Mary Beth! I just love and enjoy your videos! Many great finds at the Pink Elephant Sale! I liked all those dishes and Waterford Crystal finds! Have a great week! 👍👍💙💙😃😃🙏🙏
Could hardly believe my luck when seeing the Glandore rose bowl. I knew it had to be affordable in the Bric-a-Brac section. Did not expect it to be $5 though.
In a HEARTBEAT would I line up and sleep in my car to have a chance to participate in the opportunity to be at this sale! SO MANY wonderful items you highlighted!
One of my beloved neighbors (retired librarian) had Singapore Bird, which her niece, another dear friend, inherited, enjoyed many luncheons and tea parties featuring Singapore Bird.
I saw quite a few of those blue Adams pieces at the Replacements yard sale. They must watch you as their latest ad touts "Elevate your autumn....' immediately thought of you! Incredible finds LMB!! Blessings!
Gosh you did well! The furniture was brilliant. I am a scarf addict so would have grabbed a few of those. Yes, you can use them in other ways as with any fabric. I have 2 saris as a window treatment. Think outside the box x
Can't beat the scarf prices. Oh, love the idea of saris as window treatments. I also got an oversized high-end brown and taupe plaid scarf that would be a great Fall table square overlay.
@@peggyfiedler1556 there are two ways. The first is to drape a sari over a curtain pole on one side of the window. Pleat the fabric so it is neat. Mirror that method for the other side of the window. The sari length is such that it works even on tall windows. Usually around 9 yards. The other method is to use small curtain clips but that has a less elegant result. Many sari shops will only have one sari of a particular pattern so you might have to order the second to match. Use the sumptuous gold-thread celebration saris for luxurious impact. The sari is made with an extra yard or so of silk at the end with a less ornate design. You can cut this off. That is the fabric which can be made into the traditional bodice for under the sari. It’s called a choli.
I just found you, and I just found a Waterford vase in the box at goodwill for $3.99. Can you tell me more about it? Hospitality 9.2 in with a very flared out opening. I can’t find anything online about it. It’s lovely.
Amazing deal on the Waterford Hospitality Vase! I just got one from FB Marketplace for $85. There were other pieces on the collection, including a pitcher and bowl.
What a surprise to see myself on a UA-cam video! I was shopping in the bric- a- brac section. Sorry to have missed you, I would have said hello to a fellow Houstonian.
Oh WOW! I'd be like a 5 year old in Chuck E Cheese if I were able to attend the Pink Elephant Rummage sale! Thanks for taking us with you Lady Mary Beth.
I've never been to Texas, I live 2 hours from Chicago, I always thought Texas was all Tornadoes and Hurricanes, but It must not be that bad , with all that crystal and antique stores. Have a great week!
Texas welcomes you! We do have the occasional hurricane, and well worth living on the Gulf Coast. Thrift, consignment, and antique shops are more fun. We also have the twice yearly Round Top Antiques Fair that is worth a visit.
@@LadyMaryBeth Thank you, I did not know Texas was a hot bed of antiques. I can relate to you, my parents were born in Austria and I have been embroidering since I was 5 years old. Do you like to embroider too?
Hello Lady Mary Beth.....always love to follow you and have purchased thanks to you! Love the chinosiere sheets....any way I can find if they sold.....I love them......Thank you as always!
Wow that Pink Elephant sale was like a giant estate sale! You always showcase items that I love... the brass bookstand, the unique triangle shaped Victorian quadraplate, the crystal box, mantle lusters and of course all of the gorgeous china patterns! ❤🍽❤
Waterford experimented with colors in the 1990s, mostly blue, teal, and amethyst. Their Clarendon ruby, emerald, amethyst, and ruby glasses are superb. I understand that they outsourced the color for cut-to-clear.
Wow!! The rose bowl for 5$ is amazing!!! I would buy the antique linens also, just amazing prices. I have to see I was surprised to see the people running in when the doors opened. Nothing is worth being rude like that.
Shoppers were excited, and ready to run after standing in line in the Texas heat for hours. A viewer recognized the flower frog (start of video) as Steuben. It was not yet priced when I showcased it. Missed a good one.
My son will graduate with his MBA next May 2025 at Rice. We are taking a few days to do some charity shopping while in Houston. Can’t hardly wait to visit some of your favorite stores. My daughter-in-law, her mother and I are going to have a wonderful few days. ❤
Fantastic wish I could be there but on the wrong continent! They should charge 5 dollars for entrance! Planning my trip gto the UK in 3 weeks time hope I will find some treasures! The textiles often overlooked but always good - mongrammed and the French jacquard - bought some in Harrods' sale in London 25 years ago!
Do you shop Portobello Road Market or another spot in London? I was there last December and would like to return to film. I opened up the $2 handmade lace table runner yesterday and it is exquisite and beyond description.
Pink is definitely your color!
Thanks! Some shoppers thought I was a volunteer with the pink dress.
I never would have guessed that the red vase was Waterford! Thanks for enlightening me!
Oh my goodness. What a treat. So many wonderful finds. I wish I could have shopped this sale. Thank you for taking us along, Lady Mary Beth! ❤
Thanks for virtually shopping with me. It truly was the thrift event of the year.

It was so nice to meet you at the rummage sale. You are more more beautiful in person.
Delighted to meet you! Thanks for your kind words!
I just can’t believe the quality of the items for sale at this event, and the prices! I would have picked up so many things that you highlighted!
There were more hidden gems, and items sold fast. A viewer identified the flower frog as Steuben, worth $250 or more.
I love Waterford as much as you! It's so pretty and sparkly. I love the Singapore Bird dishes. You found a wonderful sale with unreal bargains.

Not the early American type 😂
I’m usually here for the China but, wow, some of those clothes were stunning! So beautifully made. Thanks for this great experience. ❤
My thoughts exactly. Wish I had shopped more for fashion. Pleased to get the Lela Rose pink dress. 🩷

The $5 Waterford crystal bowl was more than worth the drive there and back, for sure!
Absolutely worth the drive! Would not sleep in the car, but an early start worked out for me.

Amazing deals, but have to say it’d give me crazy anxiety with the running into the room & grabbing things 😭😂
The fashion and couture section was jam packed. The home goods area was not too crowded.
The flower frog at 2:36 was made by Steuben, thank you for this video.
Wow! Glad to know this. They had not yet priced it as I filmed. Then, it was gone.
