This is the sequel to my take on a soundtrack for Simon Stålenhags´ The Electric State, which you can enjoy over here: ua-cam.com/video/QkmO5y0Q-OQ/v-deo.html
Brilliant uncanny journey. Must be something in the water there in Sweden, perfect music for such awesome art! Your fist Electric State soundtrack is my absolute favorite but this is well suited to the organic elements in the art. Great video editing too, the scenes change timings are perfection. Much appreciated!
@@entkarbon937 Hey, your comment made my day! I am so thrilled that you appreciate the combination, especially since I am quite happy with the result myself :)
Did you guys know that Simon Stålenhag actually created and recorded his own soundtrack to the The Electric State-and it's absolutely amazing: open.spotify.com/album/4ZLaWZnViH3hbSIrRW3ixR
These musics are so good that you should name them an original name and make an album and put "inspired by Tales From the Loop". As it is people might get confused whether if it's a repost, original or fan made. And i swear the god these are some incredibly awesome pieces.
Who else would say 'Scrappers brought me here'...wish I'd have found you sooner...thanks for the great songs, wonderful playlist. Fits even moreso with the series...Expect an onsurge...if I have anything to do with it that is!
Theory for Simon’s art Only decades in the future, Humanity is recovering from a huge war. With thousands of drones, and battle ships lost in the deep expansion of the now recovering United States after the 2nd Great War civilization crumbles. Due to the war, culture did not advance nor did consumer goods leaving a 1990s culture still in the 21st century. Meanwhile, corporations like sentre who earned billions from the Great War started a virtual reality system which is hyper advanced. This reality was better and extremely realistic and hundreds, then thousands then millions joined the system. But the system failed and nobody left the virtual world. Now, the people of the remaining world have 2 choices, try to live on...or join the virtual world. Millions rather join the virtual world than stay here but those who don’t suffer. And society unravels very quickly. Now many cities are ghost towns, and there are only millions left in the human population. The population which didn’t leave the world behind. And due to the advanced technology trade, technology and culture advance but at a hugely lower rate. More theories on the war: Thousands of machines were left in the Great War. Battleships were banadoned and crashed with their heavy guns ever silent and the lack of fuel caused many walkers to break down. The war was extremely deadly and the resources needed to fight it were rushed. Alaska was lost and many machines never even made it to the front line. More theories on sentre: Sentre now only exists in the virtual world, controlling androids and robots to countinue working their many virtual servers. The broken robots are perfect for holding the servers and the power needed to keep the virtual world going and many people wander into fields or in streets connected to these destroyed robots. More theories on the world: Espically in the United States the population dwindles. The East still has a few million souls left. Many of them now enjoying their new comfort as robots and drones take over most tasks. The few million in the west try to do their jobs, but instead a new job of salvaging old war material develops and people re program them The west is completely gone, with only areas like Seattle, San Francisco and los angelos with a few hundred thousand people in a huge consurmerist world they are mostly sentre workers, sacavangers or improverished citizens or veterans

I read The Electric State with your music on loop, and it was amazing. I'm gonna do the same for Tales from the Loop, just got it for Christmas!
Aashiq Shaikh That is so awesome to hear! I hope you will enjoy this track just as much 😊 Thanks for taking the time to post your kind comment
Wow this fits so very well to the feeling of the pictures and the book. I really like it
So glad you enjoyed it 😀

I like to think stålenhag is from the future given how visceral all of his work feels
Electric state mixed in
Saw two of his books in a store, I will buy them. Great works and a nice alternative to sci fi novels, which are mostly awesome but lack any art.
