I live in the UK where we dont get hurricanes. I just cant imagine living like this, its so bizarre to me. Glad you weren't affected too badly❤ New subscriber
My prayers have been with you. So glad the girls were playing and relaxed. Praying you’re finished with the severe storms for the season and can get back to normal ❤
Just got power back today and finally were able to go buy food to replace all we had to throw away. It makes me so sad to have to throw it all out 😢 glad to know you all are ok and safe ❤❤ much love
You are very fortunate! Three recommendations: 1. Consider having your roof inspected! You may think the roof is ok but there could be some damage. 2. If you go through this again, dress in comfortable outside clothes, even to sleep in. Have a pair of comfortable shoes next to you in case you have to leave your home in a hurry (like so many had to during Helene and Milton. 3. If you don't have them, purchase life vests for all family members. It sounds silly but I am sure you saw the videos of fast rising flood waters. Again, you were very fortunate!
i hoope you are all ok xx i live in Cornwall uk and we can get hurricane force winds with total devastation to our seaside places.. soi know a little what your going through, but we dont get tornados like you we only get small ones nothing like florida and other parts.. i hope and pray you get a bit of respite between storms. your in my thoughts take care xxxx
My sister and BIL live in Englewood, FL. They did evacuate but they are back now and luckily had minimal damage. Happy you made it through with barely any damage!!
Yes! The worst part was we didn’t know how far it had ticked to the south until after the storm. We lost power right before landfall and just kept waiting for the eye to pass over, but it never did because we rode the eyewall the entire time. 10 hours straight of just heavy wind. That was intense.
Do yall have power yet if not you can borrow our generator we live here in north port we have our power back so if you need it your welcome to borrow it ❤
I know its after the fact, And I don't really know about preparing for Hurricanes, I don't live where those happen but couldn't you also fill empty containers with Water from home to have extra? I'm only like 10 minutes into the Video so if it's mentioned later, sorry..
Absolutely! Most of our area is on well water and some of it is undrinkable due to saltwater intrusion. We are fortunate enough to have a whole home RO system and we did fill some of our water containers before the storm.
Our dog passed away from a tumor at the beginning of the year, so we don’t have a dog. And, yes, of course the kitties got to go out after the fence was put back together and it was safe. Jack says hello in the video near the end.
We are still without power. We will answer comments when we can! Thank you all for your well wishes 🩵
Seeing your family calm, but well prepared is a good example for everyone.
Panic never helps. Calm and collected is the way to go. It got a little dicey when a window blows in, but we were prepared for that too.
So glad to hear that you are all ok.
So glad you guys are safe ❤

That’s what we keep telling ourselves. I really hope they are not hoarding it all for themselves.
@@OrganizedChaosCrew agreed because some many people need help and their own stuff too and those who take more then they need is just selfish
So happy to hear you all are safe. Hope you get power soon

Thank you. We are getting close to the end of hurricane season. We were definitely not expecting 2 major storms so close together.

Hey I’m in North Port too ❤❤❤
Awesome!
Ian was really bad here in North Port being in the eye wall the entire time was scary 😱

SO SINCE YOUR FAMILY WAS OUT, DID YOU LET THE DOG AND CAT GO OUT???
