It was very difficult for me to pull a complete 180 and talk about the most valuable things in life. This was the biggest trust fall I can imagine. Thank you for catching me 🥹❤️. I’m slowly reading through your comments as every single one is so important to me, every single one of you is so important to me. I may not be able to respond to each one individually but I’m making a point to try to read them all. It’s wild how many times I wanted to yell it out in the last few months. Even the content sometimes was a little close to home. We covered Gypsy Rose’s pregnancy announcement a few months ago and I said “I’m at a place in my life where people around me are having kids” I meant Lauren and I !!! 😆 well not just us, a lot of friends and family as well but mostly us! And who could forget the whole Blake Lively interview with the “little bump.” I’dd been watching Lauren glow for weeks whenever we’re in public and strangers come up to her and compliment her on the pregnancy. She’s not usually one who looks for attention or the spotlight but the smiles and pure joy in those moments have been real (I would know haha). I even announced the news to Kjersti Flaa, Blake’s interviewer when we were about to film our collab and she congratulated Lauren on her “litttle bump” hahahaha! That was awesome. This is going to be a crazy ride! The baby, Vegas, all of it! I can’t express what it means to us to know that we have your support and warm wishes! LET’S GOOOOOOOO!!!!!! 🎉 👶 🤗 ❤️ Ps: Nimbus ( 🐈⬛) is VERY upset that nobody is commenting about his cuteness. He thought this video was mostly about him.

I really respected that you were just Spidey and didn't want to share the rest yet and it took me a few videos to realize I didn't know your real name! I've always valued your sharing of the inside view of performing (acting) and presenting especially as we see in interviews and UA-cam videos. I think so much now about what is presented within view of videos and what ppl wear. It's true in the court trials I watch too. It's really helped my critical thinking and analysis.

Omgsh! As soon as you said, "I've been called many things in my life, but there's one thing I've always wanted to be called..." I gasped and blurted out, "DAD! He's gonna be a dad!"😅 (My husband was confused for a second lol) I just knew by the tone of your voice, and the clear emotion you showed that it was something special like that. I'm so, so happy for you Spidey. That's amazing! My other half and I have been together just over 10 years. He proposed to me in our first year together, and, like you guys, we still haven't been married yet, either. We just have no reason to rush it, and besides the legal paperwork, it doesn't change anything❤ Lauren is gorgeous, and I just want to say thank you for sharing her, and sharing such a special, sacred part of your life with us. After following you for so long, it's really great to know you a little better😊 As for any parental advice... My fiancè and I have 2 kids together, a girl (8yo) and a boy (4yo). I don't have any experience in relocating when either of them were babies, but I can speak to the "chaotic" part of parenting.😅 Our son is special needs. He has a chromosome syndrome which causes significant cognitive and learning delays. Our lives changed drastically when he was born because we have to adapt so much with almost every aspect of our life. Something as simple as a going out to dinner has to be planned accordingly due to our son's differences. Every family/situation is different, but what I can tell you is, no matter what hurdle comes your way, don't dwell on it. Get over the hurdle and never look back. Don't let the little things get to you. Focus on your family and your guys' wellbeing. Period. Don't stress yourself about possibly missing an upload or anything like that. You keep putting your life and your family first, no matter what. Sorry for the novel😂 I'm just so happy for you, and I can't wait to see where this takes you! You deserve it all, and then some. Don't ever forget that!✨️🎉😊

Oh Spidey congratulations! My parenting advice is this. The most important part of being a parent (and sometimes the hardest part) is accepting and loving your child for who they are. He may not be who you imagined your child might be but he is exactly who he is supposed to be. Congratulations to you and Lauren. You got this!
I agree I have four , now adult, children, they are all completely different but all share the same family values. I have never judged their decisions especially as adults and have just gently guided them if I could see trouble ahead in their teenage years. It hasn’t always worked but they are all fantastic people and I am very proud of each one of them❤️ congratulations Spidey, you come across as a very kind and caring man
It's funny, but I don't have children and I told the same thing to a friend. They live in a country where the lgbtq community is not accepted, and when she told me years ago that they suspected their middle son (of 3) was gay, I said "so are you going to love him any less? You guys had certain plans written for him, but you forgot to tell him that. He is who he is.' Fast forward a few years, and she was fine with the now official news, but his father was still fighting him on it. It was very tense being in that house when I visited. You couldn't even mention that he had a friend, because he still was not out to his co-workers, his boss, and other family members. Fast forward a few more years, and both of her younger two have officially come out, and their father has come to accept that their partners are good people and that wanting the best for his son is giving up the story he had written for their lives, and wanting what his son wants.
Well said. I have 3 boys, all of whom have very different personalities, likes, dislikes, and aspirations. I don't want them to be carbon copies of me or their mother; I just want them to be happy, healthy, and kind. My wife and I will love them every step of the way and celebrate everything that makes them unique. As a former fighter and athlete, I see tons of fathers pushing their kids towards sports, and there's a part of me that hopes they will get involved with martial arts or team sports, for all the reasons that those environments molded me, but I recognize that it must be their choice, and I will never be disappointed if they choose a different path as they grow. Anyway, thanks for your comment and taking the time to eloquently offer advice and support to other parents and Spidey himself.

I mean magic isn’t always the coolest hobby so I know what it’s like to pursue things a little outside the box. I want him to find his passion the way I found mentalism and behavioral analysis, and if it’s something out of the box then I look forward to learning about that pastime myself 😊.

I had a surprise baby at 38, a little girl. Every morning was like Christmas morning. Getting to hold her, care for her, watch her grow has been a blessing beyond words. She quite literally gave me life again. Now she's eight. Believe everyone who tells you it goes by in the blink of an eye! Cherish this time. Congratulations. ❤
I had my first two before I was 20 and my third when they were 14&15. I don't know how you do it! Some days I just lack the energy I had with my older boys and I feel bad about it. I'm 39 now and my only regret is not having a sibling for him. My first 2 are so close in age and my youngest is basically an only child now. But, he's amazing! He's so funny and smart!!

I’ve been married for 26 years ( marriage can work and be beautiful just sayin’) and I’m a Mother of our two beautiful girls. We had to move once during those early years for my husband’s work, our oldest daughter was two and I was pregnant with our second daughter and it was a lot to move into our new home we had built, my husband had to focus on his new job a lot and try to be there for me while pregnant and manage time with our daughter and new baby, 😂 you might be exhausted for awhile but it will settle down it won’t always be so hectic and it might sound silly or simple but I suggest filming, documenting in some way privately you know home videos, journaling, pictures all these special times and new first because some day a time might come where you just question yourself as a parent no matter how dedicated you’ve been and it’s nice to remember the happiness, innocence and learning experiences of early parenthood and to be able to look back and say, yeah, we did good. 👍 p.s it’s hard as a new mom/ parent to leave the baby but date night that bonding time as a couple is and will always be important for keeping a family together ( God and date night) will get ya through everything) in my humble opinion. Congratulations and Thanks for sharing, your lady is gorgeous, cute couple, going to be a lovely family. 👏 you will be an Awesome sauce Dad!! 😊❤

The biggest challenge I've had with offspring is they confront me with myself: somehow my kids assimilate my worst behaviors and characteristics, then rub it in my face (without knowing it) when I go to correct them and realize any reprimanding I do is an act of hypocrisy. 🙂 So we learn to improve ourselves together--they remind me to be honest with myself and make me a better person while I try to help them be better people. The other thing I've learned is no matter how much influence I have with my kids, I can't compete with or replace mom's influence. Loving their mother is one of the most important ways I can support my kids. Your genuine love for your son and Lauren will yield the right answers to decisions--even if we have to wait a little longer for a video! 🙂 My thoughts, anyway. I'm so excited for you!
Congratulations Spidey. So exciting and so well deserved. Unfortunately, no rule book available for parenting but just listening to you, you and Lauren have already got this. Your baby will be loved and cherished. One thing that an elderly lady said to me many years ago when my baby was an infant that I have always found very useful is 'Children do not do what we want them to do. The only rule is to provide emotional support to your children and empathy. Everything else will follow. If you don’t have that the child doesn’t have-much chance.

A wise friend (with a daughter a couple of years older than my son) taught me to remember that “They only get older one day at a time.” It’s neither possible nor advisable to try to work out details for way down the road. Keep an eye on the horizon, but focus on the road your headlights illuminate - not the miles and miles you can’t yet see clearly. One day at a time 😊💐

I was very hesitant to open up publicly like this. For a few years now I have kept my private life to myself, the good and the bad. I’m slowly reading through your comments as every single one is so important to me, every single one of you is so important to me. I may not be able to respond to each one individually but I’m making a point to try to read them all.
It’s wild how many times I wanted to yell it out in the last few months. Even the content sometimes was a little close to home. We covered Gypsy Rose’s pregnancy announcement a few months ago and I said “I’m at a place in my life where people around me are having kids” I meant Lauren and I !!! 😆 well not just us, a lot of friends and family as well but mostly us!
And who could forget the whole Blake Lively interview with the “little bump.” I’dd been watching Lauren glow for weeks whenever we’re in public and strangers come up to her and compliment her on the pregnancy. She’s not usually one who looks for attention or the spotlight but the smiles and pure joy in those moments have been real (I would know haha). I even announced the news to Kjersti Flaa, Blake’s interviewer when we were about to film our collab and she congratulated Lauren on her “litttle bump” hahahaha! That was awesome.
This is going to be a crazy ride! The baby, Vegas, all of it! I can’t express what it means to us to know that we have your support and warm wishes!

As for any parental advice... My fiancè and I have 2 kids together, a girl (8yo) and a boy (4yo). I don't have any experience in relocating when either of them were babies, but I can speak to the "chaotic" part of parenting.😅 Our son is special needs. He has a chromosome syndrome which causes significant cognitive and learning delays. Our lives changed drastically when he was born because we have to adapt so much with almost every aspect of our life. Something as simple as a going out to dinner has to be planned accordingly due to our son's differences.
Every family/situation is different, but what I can tell you is, no matter what hurdle comes your way, don't dwell on it. Get over the hurdle and never look back. Don't let the little things get to you. Focus on your family and your guys' wellbeing. Period. Don't stress yourself about possibly missing an upload or anything like that. You keep putting your life and your family first, no matter what.

I lived in Toronto for 5 years after working at Long Lake Camp as a part of my big trip overseas when I graduated university in Australia. I did a double degree including teaching and arts with a psych major. But extra curricular were all performance based including dancing, singing, musical theatre etc. I now teach Performing Arts and my year 4 students asked me to do a lesson on magic so here I am getting ready to write it and I see this video! Oh Spidey congratulations! My parenting advice is this. The most important part of being a parent (and sometimes the hardest part) is accepting and loving your child for who they are. He may not be who you imagined your child might be but he is exactly who he is supposed to be. Congratulations to you and Lauren. You got this!
I agree I have four , now adult, children, they are all completely different but all share the same family values. I have never judged their decisions especially as adults and have just gently guided them if I could see trouble ahead in their teenage years. It hasn’t always worked but they are all fantastic people and I am very proud of each one of them❤️ congratulations Spidey, you come across as a very kind and caring man
It's funny, but I don't have children and I told the same thing to a friend. They live in a country where the lgbtq community is not accepted, and when she told me years ago that they suspected their middle son (of 3) was gay, I said "so are you going to love him any less? You guys had certain plans written for him, but you forgot to tell him that. He is who he is.' Fast forward a few years, and she was fine with the now official news, but his father was still fighting him on it. It was very tense being in that house when I visited. You couldn't even mention that he had a friend, because he still was not out to his co-workers, his boss, and other family members. Fast forward a few more years, and both of her younger two have officially come out, and their father has come to accept that their partners are good people and that wanting the best for his son is giving up the story he had written for their lives, and wanting what his son wants.
Well said. I have 3 boys, all of whom have very different personalities, likes, dislikes, and aspirations. I don't want them to be carbon copies of me or their mother; I just want them to be happy, healthy, and kind. My wife and I will love them every step of the way and celebrate everything that makes them unique. As a former fighter and athlete, I see tons of fathers pushing their kids towards sports, and there's a part of me that hopes they will get involved with martial arts or team sports, for all the reasons that those environments molded me, but I recognize that it must be their choice, and I will never be disappointed if they choose a different path as they grow. Anyway, thanks for your comment and taking the time to eloquently offer advice and support to other parents and Spidey himself.

I mean magic isn’t always the coolest hobby so I know what it’s like to pursue things a little outside the box. I want him to find his passion the way I found mentalism and behavioral analysis, and if it’s something out of the box then I look forward to learning about that pastime myself 😊.

I had my first two before I was 20 and my third when they were 14&15. I don't know how you do it! Some days I just lack the energy I had with my older boys and I feel bad about it. I'm 39 now and my only regret is not having a sibling for him. My first 2 are so close in age and my youngest is basically an only child now. But, he's amazing! He's so funny and smart!!

I remember my cousin was pregnant at 40 and wasn't ready, it wasn't a good time and contraception failed - my Granny said "there's much worse things in life that another wee one to care for, you'll wonder why you worried" 🙏🏼

The cool thing about becoming a parent is the child does not come with an instruction manual, no troubleshooting section and definitely no return policy. It’s an adventure that you all take together and I promise you it’s a wild ride at times. So very worth it! Congratulations to you both on your contract in Vegas and on the birth of your son. CONGRATULATIONS !!🎉🍾 ❤ Spidey, I love your humbleness, and I think many of us are drawn to you not only because you are Amazing at what you do but because for me at least I sensed a honesty, truthfulness and good guy heart in you, listening to a little about your personal life just confirms the truth of that to me. I’ve been married for 26 years ( marriage can work and be beautiful just sayin’) and I’m a Mother of our two beautiful girls. We had to move once during those early years for my husband’s work, our oldest daughter was two and I was pregnant with our second daughter and it was a lot to move into our new home we had built, my husband had to focus on his new job a lot and try to be there for me while pregnant and manage time with our daughter and new baby, 😂 you might be exhausted for awhile but it will settle down it won’t always be so hectic and it might sound silly or simple but I suggest filming, documenting in some way privately you know home videos, journaling, pictures all these special times and new first because some day a time might come where you just question yourself as a parent no matter how dedicated you’ve been and it’s nice to remember the happiness, innocence and learning experiences of early parenthood and to be able to look back and say, yeah, we did good. 👍 p.s it’s hard as a new mom/ parent to leave the baby but date night that bonding time as a couple is and will always be important for keeping a family together ( God and date night) will get ya through everything) in my humble opinion. Congratulations and Thanks for sharing, your lady is gorgeous, cute couple, going to be a lovely family. 👏 you will be an Awesome sauce Dad!! 😊❤

I'm so excited for you! You'll be a great father! I think helping your son experience the adventures of life will be a new Master Class on Behavioral Arts. With your background, I suspect you will be constantly amazed and filled with joy as you watch him develop over the years. The biggest challenge I've had with offspring is they confront me with myself: somehow my kids assimilate my worst behaviors and characteristics, then rub it in my face (without knowing it) when I go to correct them and realize any reprimanding I do is an act of hypocrisy. 🙂 So we learn to improve ourselves together--they remind me to be honest with myself and make me a better person while I try to help them be better people. The other thing I've learned is no matter how much influence I have with my kids, I can't compete with or replace mom's influence. Loving their mother is one of the most important ways I can support my kids. Your genuine love for your son and Lauren will yield the right answers to decisions--even if we have to wait a little longer for a video! 🙂 My thoughts, anyway. I'm so excited for you!

Your baby will be loved and cherished. One thing that an elderly lady said to me many years ago when my baby was an infant that I have always found very useful is 'Children do not do what we want them to do. The only rule is to provide emotional support to your children and empathy. Everything else will follow. If you don’t have that the child doesn’t have-much chance.

A wise friend (with a daughter a couple of years older than my son) taught me to remember that “They only get older one day at a time.” It’s neither possible nor advisable to try to work out details for way down the road. Keep an eye on the horizon, but focus on the road your headlights illuminate - not the miles and miles you can’t yet see clearly.
