10/10 for Bravery sir. There's no way in hell I'd go into town on a Saturday night. Far too many thugs, alcoholics, druggies and low life.

Only on a Saturday night? I lived for years in Brighton and thugs, alcoholics, druggies and low life are 24/7 there.

i used to go to raikes barbers as a teenager in the late 90s. this takes me back as i used to work in rumours at the weekends. thanks for the memories

Great Video Stephen. You really captured Blackpool at its liveliest. As usual no real trouble, Just everyone out enjoying themselves. Nice you have given the Akash a mention. Most bloggers walk past it. I recommended it to the Chatter Guys in there and they gave it four out of five. For me I have never been to a better curry house. Hi, Steve. Felt like I was on my Stag-Do again - that was more barmy than balmy tho' - drunkenly visiting dubious clairvoyants, going on rides after too many oysters and shots 😂.
Joking aside, your vlogs bring back so much childhood nostalgia. My grandparents used to take me there as a kid. I remember playing in Jungle Jim's, the play area which was part of The Tower complex. I remember us all nearly going arse over tit from the winds on the prom - and laughing while it was happening!When I saw the illuminations and tablots for the 1st time, I though I was in Las Vegas; I'd only seen the Mablethorpe and Skeggy ones; just as magical, but not on such a grand scale.

Was in Blackpool beginning of the week for 2 nights, lots of places closed and pubs very quiet, went in to the Duke of York for something to eat and the kitchen was closed.
Amazing sound especially considering that you are cycling. No wind noise nor heavy breathing from pedalling. So interesting as well - done most of that on foot on my visits to Blackpool but never tire of it.

Remember going to the lights in October back In the eighties, was sweltering. So nowts changed. Great isn't though. Indian summer they used to call it, now it's climate change. God.
My tummy rumbled when you passed Yorkshire Fisheries lol we go there on Saturday night during our Annual September weekend visit coming down 21st till 25th September can’t wait 😂 Another top video upload mate. I’ve been visiting Blackpool for nearly 50 years now and one thing I miss is the Top Tv stars during the season at various venues there aren’t any real tv stars entertainers now Apart from Peter Kay to name one, count down now on till our visit lol. you always bring back good old memories for all of use how much blackpool has changed the last time were there was be for the covid hit and we use to stay at the Berkeley Apartments' keep safe use to walk around blackpool at night it add a different feel about than in the day .

Been in Lytham St Annes all day and had a car 'tour' of Blackpool Illuminations before going home. Couldn't stick around. It was mega busy. I don't even know where to begin with Blackpool. So many places to stay, so little time. Does make the mind wander.

What a lively walk about video Stephen, tower illuminations and peeps out generally wherever one is ! Biking a Stephen tonite eh ! Love it. Good to see. What’s happening and goi g on at night in Blackpool. Music galore !! Fun times for. Fun folk and partygoers. Always seems a lot. Traffic in town centre and other areas. At least on your bike. You should get a nice cool breeze. All credit to your bravery at night and prime important is your own safety Stephen, bike my be sometimes a better option. Lots of hubbub outta there, maybe. Cheers Stephen for another great video, I went into the Waterloo bar (walked up central drive!) On Saturday for a gig, that's a great venue to check out, all done out as a rockers pub, something a bit different to the town centre bars

So entertaining! I almost want to move to Blackpool although it looks a bit rowdy -but probably like Sheffield West Street, without a Tower or the Sea. Youre so lucky to live on the Coast x
I came to Blackpool in May had the Compass Breakie in a pan loved it best breakie ive ever had
Just spent 5 days at Marton Mere (near Blackpool) my, the weather was excellent, the illuminations were impressive. Took the entire length of them in from Bispham to Starr Gate. A delightful slow drive all the way, no one wanted to rush.
Nice place to stay is Marton Mere.
Maybe the best place to stay in Blackpool. Nice walk into Blackpool town centre from there, past the nature reserve, the golf course and via Stanley Park.

The more I watch your videos the more I find myself asking what is it actually like living in Blackpool? You make it seem like an interesting place, it seems so much more than just the night life.

Brilliant video
That was a very good video. Very, very clear focus. Between Kaos and The Flying Handbag, is an enormous disco or nightclub called Flamingos. It's not just for gays and does good rates for students, I've been there with my girlfriend and not left until around 5 am. Not cheap for drinks but good music.
Oh, and you must be very fit. You NEVER sound out of breath! Well done!

was in blackpool on saturday for our usual lights trip from lverpool , never seen it so rammed couldnt park up to go to coral island , it was full both sides , and went to bellamy's in bispham for fish and chips as the ones in blackpool were queueing out the doors , by the way bellamy's is a good chippy ,sat off further up the road and watched the brilliant sunset where those double bumps in the road are where you can park up , but another boss blackpool trip .

I think that takeaway at 1:05 used to be called Doodles. I ordered many a chip kebab from them after having watched a film at the Cannon/ABC cinema…either with them or at Popeyes.

It’s been awhile since we explored Blackpool on the StarBike and it’s always fun watching the party animals. However, you make me nervous riding in traffic at night. I hope you have some lights on the bike.

I am not surprised these clubs are starting to close down. The running costs to stay open until 5am must be astronomical.
