As an American greenskin Larper this makes me wish that there were more than just Human players in my area. I can always dream of making a trip to Europe for an event.
It always saddens me that there are very few active fantasy LARPers from the U.S., and that the general level of costumes there is a lot lower than what we have in Europe. Thank you, but unfortunately no. The orc players at the orc camp in Epic Empires said there is a new rule in the game that prohibits video footage from unofficial photographers. Also, I don't know if I will ever get to go there again, as it has already become really difficult for me (I don't live in Germany).
Did I just binge through 2 hours of Orc Larp? Heck yeah I did! And I'll bloody do it again! Edit: how did you record this without annoying the other orcs? A hidden camera? Or did they really jsut ignore you? I hear your clanking so you were in full gear too.
I try to hide myself and my camera, as best as I can, when I make a movie. Sadly, there is never 100%, but if I had given up filming due to that fact, we wouldn't have these documentaries, that so many people like watching and find inspiring.
Yes, I do, since I speak only very limited German. The rest of the German players cooporate with me in English, most of the time, and it is very considerate of them. The Belgian orc-group speak English all the time too.
@@hmmm6317 We are in character between 12 to 16 hours a day, during the days of the LARP. I remember a few times that the day was so intensive, in terms of role-play, that I even did'nt take off my mask for 12 hours straight, not even to cool off.
@@kristalange6824 It's called Live Action Role Play (LARP). You build a costume of a certain character from a fantasy movie or genre and play it. There is no script and everything is based on improvisation, but it has to look and feel reliable. I hope it helps you understand.
OK I’ve seen the video and there is nothing in this video that wouldn’t also be accomplished during a feral wild boar hunt over a weekend and I’m pretty sure you guys have that problem in Germany also you could even wear the costumes. You get those guys together you don’t even need beer if one guy picks up a rock within 10 minutes everybody else is going to be trying to outdo each other with that rock
You know if you need a reason to sit around in the woods and act like idiots there’s always beers and camping because these costumes look horribly uncomfortable most LARP videos look fun this one looks like everyone is sitting around wishing something would happen at least so far
