That audi interior looks so much better than the old one. Such a big jump to the future IMO.
Its the best interior on the market. BMW interior on the other hand it looks like 10 years older than the Audis.

Acoustic glass, Audi uses double glazed windows (optional) and also it’s most likely got more dampening in the door cards and better isolation around the windshield. I’d think it would have to do with that. BMW should’ve done a better job on that.
Maybe this specific one didn’t come with isolating glass as it is an option

In order to be able to objectively compare the speed of these two cars, we need GPS reading. We all know that a car's speedometer doesn't show the exact speed and deviations are greater for some cars than for others.
This is incredible, how the Audi a6 Sounds so much quieter than the 5-series. Earlier generations of these cars had totally different ratio of quietness. BMWs had always less road noise in the Cabin than Audis. This is a big improvement for Audi, because now Audi is a completely perfect car to me. Before the new generation it was almost perfect, but now it is absolutely perfect.
Go drive an AUDI 100c4 ( first a6 ) and take a look at power even if it's a diesel, take a look how quiet it is what a lovely and crazy drive that car has and you're gonna recognize what audi is in real. I don't know what old times you talkin about....I have one 100c4 (a6 1992) 2.5L/TDI manual with 6 gears nowdays, 3 decades allready and it's just a beast at power, it's more quiet it has more stability than some cars that comes 2 decades later in this world.---THIS SHOWS ME WHAT AN AUDI IS===

it has stiffer suspension that is why but if you look at the steering wheels they both are very stable
When you look at the launch of the Audi, you can see it dive when he releases the break. It just shows how soft the suspension is. No surprise it is going so well without shaking

I wouldn't turn down either of them if someone gave me a one. Both companies are at the Apex of technology, and both cars are amazing in their own right. AS a previous owner of both, the BMW is exactly what the company say it is: AN ultimate Driving Machine. Feeling the road and the sound of the engine are what make the BMWs separate from the Audi. In my opinion, Audi has a more refined level of comfort, and their crash test ratings are far better then the BMW. There is a significant difference in the sound between an inline-6 and a turbocharged 4 cylinder. BMW has a power band that is significantly different as well.
The 50 TDI is actually a V6.

Audi more comfort, better soundproof, better looking interior, more reliable and more parts available as its a VW branch, better exhaust note (without soft rev limiter). BMW better drifting, more hooligan basically, sportier, bmw logo, higher quality interior, best inline 6 engine manifacturer in the world. This is basically valid for both brands in the last couple decades, not much changed... if you are going for bmw choose inline 6, audi doesnt matter much but still v6 tdi is great especially if you put a good exhaust system it sounds as good as a petrol engine with lower fuel cost and higher modability

Would be even intresting to know all the times like 0-100, 0-200, 100-200, 1/8 mile, 1/4mile, 1/2mile with speeds. Would be intresting to know so I can compare my old A6 C6 chipped to 270HP which I measured with Dragy I bought from you guys two weeks ago! :D Please you could or should write this times always in the description of each video! Costs like 20sec extra time when you upload the videos to youtube. I am sure, there are more people that would like to know, so I hope you will consider that in the future.

A little faster though the BMW 530d might be, it seems to me like the cabin of the Audi A6 50 TDi is much calmer and relaxing place to be. Even the dashboard layout of the A6 is more appealing to my personal tastes. In terms of performance, there's really not that much difference between the two.
Clear win for Audi when it comes to comfort. The wind noise in 5 series is insanely loud compared to A6.

SirBlank I wouldn’t sacrifice comfort in exchange for the slight difference in acceleration. How can you really enjoy driving if it is not comfortable to drive? The wind noise will piss me off first before I start feeling that acceleration.
楊展 I’m not the kind of guy that wants to drive around in a Rolls Royce, I would rather have a BMW M3, I’ve got a 2009 Z4 sDrive30i, it is not the most comfortable car but it really feels like a go kart on the road, and that’s what I love.
楊展 And when will you drive 240 km/h? I have driven 200 in my 320d and I get no wind noice. Unless you live at a unrestricted autobahn you shouldn’t complain about the wind noice at 240 km/h

If you compare side by side the cars you can see that the audi crossed the second bridge just a little bit before the BMW... dont loom at the km because they are never 100% correct. Audi is faster by like 10 meters

The same application was not used for the two videos. The application used for the BMW is much less accurate.

I own g30. Today i drove A6. BMW is much better in many ways. But Audi has more modern screens and some details are of higher quality built. Feeling in bmw is far superior. Feeling in Audi is just nice volkswagen. New 5er is coming this year lets see who will be modern than. 😎

And I’ve rented audi a6 2019 same spec as video and is quick and beautiful inside better than my bmw.

yeah... an 530d is very nice... but this car cost not so much... We buyed our 530d f11 touring just for 25.000€. Our Kodiaq cost much more. We payed for this Skoda +60.000€... So an 530d is not rly for rich People... It's for everyone or for definitly for normal people.

Similar performance. BMW not as quiet and actually a bit noisy under acceleration.
The Audi wins this and here is why.
First of all you don't buy any of the two cars because of their speed (it's not terrible but for this price you can get cars that are way quicker).
The Audi seems way more stable than de BMW at high speeds and it's also ALOT less noisy.
This is a great factor considering one would buy this car for comfort and luxery. The Audi has alot more technology which would make it the better car compared to the BMW.
I also think that the interior of the Audi looks nicer, but that is just personal taste.
PS. Bot cars are amazing and i'm definitely not an Audi fanboy.

Для стандартного пользования авто это совсем не важно что быстрей.
