    It's amazing how naiive young ppl are. I love them so much & I hate that they're being lied to at university. Even jr colleges have liberal professors that lie to them...telling them how bad America is & American values.
    Good compilation! Thankyou!

    College has been shoved down everyone’s throat since the late 70’s it seems. High schools used to teach drafting, wood working, metal shop, mechanics, etc… These classes would give young people a chance to see if they might like something, or be good at something, and could then peruse it upon graduation. But teachers, school counselors, etc began pushing college, college, college…and slowly these classes were done away with in school districts all across the country. This led to a downfall in skilled workers. For example we need plumber’s, carpenter’s, mechanics, and such who are highly skilled and can do many a job, more than we need unskilled people with college degree’s in nothing physical.

    What I take from all the speakers, not just him is the awareness.
    They simply say to save your time, money & sanity considering the facts that only 13% of college students need college.
    I think people get defensive for no reason other than they can’t grasp what is being repeated for them over & over.
    He’s not against college for those that need it and he promotes you to just make informed decisions. This is why there’s a new movement to get away from the universities completely with schools opening soon and open now like Peterson academy. To give people a real education with classes they actually need at an appropriate cost.

      @@chocochipleesy most of the new generation are apparently terrified of actual work. They seem to want to start at the top. Instead of working and learning all aspects of a work environment.

    It's so sad how gullible college kids are these days. Most people will get more conservative as they age, the further they get from academia and once they have families, their views will change. These 18-24 yr olds just don't have the life experience to make sense.

    I am always amazed at the uninformed college students who have never had an original thought, think they're oh so wonderful because they are capable of parroting some woke, socialist professors, who are only professors because McDonald's wasn't hiring that week.
    I am also astounded how Charlie Kirk remains calm. Personally, I believe that I would become so frustrated with these unaware idiots that I would literally have a stroke.

      That's exactly it, colleges are notoriously shady, especially in sports alone as an easy target, giving scholarships, cheating so athletes can get by not doing their work so they can make the college millions as an athlete. I here professors are teaching the most ridiculous ideas and young impressionable minds think, I'm in college and these people are smarter than most believe the bullshit while going in debt to make less money than they ever have to pay back. Talking about crazy adults teaching kids whose brain haven't fully developed insane ideas

    Unless you believe in a borderless world-where everyone is a citizen of every country and can own property, start businesses, and possess land everywhere-why does it make sense for a country to prioritize immigrants and foreigners over its own citizens? How do we reconcile this? Is it logical for a father to love a stranger more than his own child? While he can be kind to a neighbor's kids, his primary responsibility is to his own. I’m not suggesting that a government is a father to its citizens, but it’s a useful analogy.

    Multiple things can be true at one time. Each person's reasons for attending higher education can vastly differ, meaning their individual assessment of whether or not they're getting what they pay for can be collected, measured, and analyzed. Charlie dropped out of community college for his own reasons.

    I will slightly disagree in nuance with charlie on one thing. You definitely need more than an 8-month coding course to be an engineer. That being said, whether or not you pass world civilization should have no bearing on whether you earn a bachelors degree in engineering. All courses outside of direct field of study should be audit only. (For the record, i consider calculus, physics, and chemistry within the field of study of engineering)

  • @Abe-ix5dz
    @Abe-ix5dz 23 дні тому

    I disagree with Charlie on college is a scam. I mean you got doctors, lawyers, teachers, vocational trades learned in community colleges, etc. It's not the colleges responsibility to get you a job when you graduate and many of the social fields well let's be honest fall under supply and demand. People want to learn those things even if they are useless fields of study for getting a job. You don't need a college degree to become wealthy but you do if you want to become a doctor or peruse a career that requires a degree. I doubt that even Charlie, in his infinite wisdom, is going to allow Warren Buffet to perform surgery on him.

What Charlie fails to say here is that there are degrees that could be considered a scam because of post graduate success in those fields but he shouldn't generalize that all universities, colleges, etc. are scamming everyone.
