I assume he noticed it before in his life but didn't have footage and so he did it himself for a few minutes on some similar corner. Otherwise I don't know how he would have footage of the before and after.
@@ricardoamendoeira3800 with the vast amount of footage he had that he films, I could see him filming the corner with the intention of using it in a way to show people taking a shortcut, but then found a meaning for it when they did close it off.
Funny that at the end, anyone else watching ever felt like they were a gargoyle in their city at some time? (don't have to be up high on a roof at all I would say). I saw a guy sit on a railing with his feet perched on a lower railing casually browsing his phone - next time I'll probably walk by giving a nod of approval.. 🙂
I like the comedyvto portray a dark message that is unique or one that most people probably wouldn't even think about. Very swanky. So it's the pigs here but in India, it would be the cows who go wherever they want

Pig on a leash in NYC? .... Is that a first?? .... Doubt it! 😆
@@SuperWeedPower that’s the beauty (and horror) of NYC: you don’t need to script anything. Insane scenes write themselves.

It's termed Hostile Architecture. And we shouldn't accept it in any form.
