Great video! I have my Blue Yeti Microphone connected to my iPhone and it works great. The issue I am having is that when I want to do a Zoom meeting, I can't hear anyone because my iPhone is trying to use my mic as a speaker! I know that I can plug in headphones to the mic and hear my attendees but am looking for a way to not have to use headphones. I can't seem to find any settings in either the iPhone or Zoom how to disable using the mic as a speaker. Any suggestion?
If you do that, it will cause feedback because the microphone will pick up the sound of others talking. Everyone uses headphones when using a microphone for this sort of application for this reason. The only way to do what you want is to use AirPods which is, essentially, still wearing headphones and using a microphone.
Hello! Thanks for the video, I can hear some hissing from when you're recording with the Yeti via phone - have you discovered a way to fix that? If connected to PC, the Hub software kindly removes the background noise, but we're just looking for some type of audio plugin for the phone too to solve this. Unfortunately the official hub App is for Bluetooth devices so is incompatible with USB connected devices to phones.
thank you for this helpful video :)
Glad it was helpful!

@@TheKiiS OK, thanks. If I use my Airpods as headphones will it still use my Blue Yeti as the microphone?

Not that I know of. I might try a higher quality cable, or adapter. I haven’t record anything since lol. I will look into it though
Thank you
You're welcome dear.
have you had any issue with humming?
Humming no humming for me. Check your cable it might be a bad cable if humming or there might be feedbacks from the room
