The fact that the song title "no promises to keep " and aerith sing it for me it like cloud promise her to protect her she knows hi can't fulfill it but if she survived this time in REBIRTH its means this is not base on the original ff7 1997, it's just another different story its not like the same cloud who seeking for FORGIVENESS of his friend like in advent children movie this is a different cloud..... 😕
I have a suggestion, how about playing "Christmas Nights" now that it's Christmas, there is the original Sega Saturn version, but also the Remaster for PS2/PS3 and Xbox 360, maybe it's even available on Steam for PC, but you'll have to look for it by "Nights Into Dreams" because the Christmas expansion is already included in the Remastered version, Parasite Eve also could be an interesting option because the story is during Christmas
Cloud is like Harry Potter with part of Sephiroth inside of him would explain the strange memories and memory loss. I just hope he isn't the one who kills Aerith when the "Sephiroth" part takes over. It would break me.
