Awesome video, awesome farm. But, as you've asked for call-outs: you can't grow trees to final stage right next to each other. Even when you just starting on a new farm on a new save - none of the trees will grow in adjacent tiles, there has to be at least 1 tile between them or they will be stuck in the "big sapling" stage" after one is grown. Yes, it looks very pretty as you did it, but can't be done in a normal game.
I didn't realize other people built farms in Stardew too! I usually do it when I don't feel like playing the full game and would rather start with a backstory or half finished farm. Loving your design in this vid too! Looking forward to more. :)

It's hard to find a balance between looking good and efficient. Take's a few replays and inspiration. (Well at least for myself.) Many times I've seen players videos, that are awesome at decorating their houses and sheds, but not their exterior, and vise versa... Rarely in my video surfing, do I find videos where the player can do both. XD

I'm on Year 8 on my first farm... a forest farm... and I'm so sad that I cut down my extra bushes! I'm trying so hard to finally design instead of just place things for utility's sake, which is super difficult for me. Thank you so much for your BEAUTIFUL design! 💜 I actually live in the middle of the woods, with chickens, rabbits, goats, cats, and a dog (we just got rid of our pigs), so I really wanna make it feel a bit like home... as I'm now housebound, well, no actually bound to my room and my bed for almost 99% of my life now. I have become allergic to cats and dogs and obviously can't help with the farm anymore, but this game brings me great joy, a few hours a week. Hearing your kitty was so cute! 🥰 I can't wait to check out more videos. This is SO cute, mixing the two stone paths is the exact vibe. I got on the game and stole that right away. It's also really nice to see a farm that keeps the feeling of wilderness and isn't so structured and symmetrical. It's a good balance. Thanks for sharing 💕
I love how you designed the space; there's such a natural flow and it keeps and expands upon the forest theme. It has such a walkability to it. I particularly like the animal area, that's a nice use for a space that can be a bit awkward.
3:00 yes! I love the planner in concept, but find it difficult to use. 6:45 I have mushroom trees tapped on my Xbox forest farm, and sometimes get purple mushrooms! 😯 Usually red or common. LOVE your kitty names story! 13:25 on one farm I tapped a hardwood so I could collect the sap daily after I had my primary chores done, so I knew I'd already checked the cave, etc.

20:17 thankfully you never see your spouse on any other part of the farm except where they stand on the patio and their little spot behind the house. it honestly surprised me when I see them walking back to the farm after a day in town and the just... teleport into walking into the farm lol. It makes sense tho
About the spouse area... I've tested this a bit, because I'm obsessed with the fact that Em goes and meditates with crystals.. I noticed she was getting grumpy because she wasn't meditating, I hadn't seen her out there.. ;) I had it blocked off, just the basic path was ever so slightly too cluttered... I cleared it up, just left her a path, and sure as shit next day she's out meditating. You never see them physically walk there as far as I know, but they will not just appear there if the path is blocked. Strange, but good to know lol.

Where I live we have to take tests to determine what level of math class we take in high school. And I got stuck in the advanced math class and it’s just like…. BUT I HATE MATH!!! I have a calculator in my phone, people can’t expect me to do math now 😂

I get all my mods from nexus typically, but I also use smap.io to make sure all my mods are up to date. Definitely make sure you have all the mods that are needed, a lot of mods have like two or three mods that are required to make it work properly. Your smapio record will also usually say what ones are and aren’t loading

Thank you! And I use mods to get the items and have them all grow quickly, but everything I’ve placed should be available in regular game play! The mushroom trees can happen randomly or the seeds can be purchased in Mr.Qi’s walnut room in later game play
I got the mushroom trees randomly, but you can't get the seeds from the saplings like all other trees, so you're kinda just left with useless but cute trees in the middle of your farm :/
Omg same with the oars but with iridium I got the statue from the 4 candles and I have gathered like 999 and 150? Ish ididum oar and I haven't smelted it at all! Lol
Thank God, finally someone who also doesn't enjoy the Stardew Planner! In theory the website is great and practically it's also.. fine? But I don't know, the whole thing just gives me the ick especially since I can't see how things exactly look as e.g. trees are shown as a 1x1 block since they only take up a single block. So it's definitely not just a millennial thing, I'm Gen Z (and a software engineer..) and I also dislike it. Understand why people love it though!
i was so sad when I realised I chose a forest farm instead of a standard farm, bc the forest one had the least available tiles (I realised this after 3 years of owning the game), but this is so cool!
you can’t place anything on those two tiles by the house even if it’s fully upgraded. i tried hiding a light behind the mailbox and i didn’t understand why it didn’t work, get it now though. so thank you
Will the ducks go into the pond in base game? I could have sworn I heard of that before so I built a coop right next to a pond, fence and everything. To this day I have not seen the ducks go in the water
It was added in one of the later big updates! I would check and see if the version you’re playing has that update. Mobile and console usually comes later than PC 🤔

Put common mushrooms in the seedmaker, make fall seeds. Use fall seeds to make tea saplings to sell for $500 each.

You can get the mushroom tree seeds on ginger island! Harder to grind for but so worth it for such cute trees

I’ve played all the maps and they all have some pros and cons to them. But yeah nothing beats the standard map!

Do you mean the hilltop farm with the mini quarry? If so, I have one already recorded but I had some technical difficulties so I’m planning on circling back to it this weekend

I don't think garden pots can grow seeds outside? I might be wrong tho, I, never used them
They can! The only thing is that you have to choose seasonal seeds outside, where inside you can choose any seed.
I love playing stardew in creative mode like minecraft, when youre actually tackling goals and stuff there isnt much time or resources for that
I try to decorate every winter but it usually ends up being a lot more practical and less cute haha
How can the tree grow instantly? Is that a endgame thing ?

I don’t always use them in my gameplay but I include them in some farms!
