Some cyclists are morons, granted, but a lot of us are just people working normal 9 to 5 jobs who enjoy a fang about on the weekends and take pleasure in modifying and building bikes to suit our style. I started when I was 22 and now that I'm 31 I've developed some lifelong friendships in a community that is largely misunderstood. I will say as well, that any person in their 40s and 50s taking up exercise as a hobby shouldn't be ridiculed.
I love when Dave says, “and that’s all you need to know” and then talks for 2 minutes straight about more things he wants you to know
I ride my bike about 3k miles a year for exercise. But I dont wear the cycling outfit and I always stay as far to the side of the road as possible. It is annoying when groups of riders dont ride in single file.

As a 15 y/o cyclists, this is hard to watch. Just hating without any genuine points and it pisses me off that people that never cycled make fun of cyclists and also think that the roads belong to them. And road cycling and track cycling are very different sports, it's like comparing marathon running and sprinting

oh boy... guys, by now you should know that if you don't understand it, its because you haven't learned about it. trashing on any sport ( cyclists here) because you dont get it is just that, you don't get it . watch some video on it like you did with all the other sports here that you didn't understand either. how did you use to talk about baseball and American football before? like they were dumb sports, right? OK.
a lot of us do it at a later age because we used to when we were young and now we are back at being able to do it again ( family , career etc) . many of us do it because it's the only significant way to stay in shape anymore. . for example, i was a runner and cyclist when i was young, then i. only ran as an aduylut do to time and life constraints...then at 35 i ruined my hip, now i cant run, so i hopped on the bike and it saved me from a serious physical decline from not being able to replace the running i was doing w something. im not pretending to be on the tour or care to look like i would, just trying to stay in shape and not destroy what's left of my body.
"why dont you just go to the gym?" i do, but you still need to do whats good for your heart, cardio, endurance etc. you know, things that help you live healthier longer,
why do we wear stupid clothes? you think we got into cycling because we were dying to wear that shit? hell no, probably why it took me so long to get back on the bike, i didnt want to. but all it takes is ONE ride over 10 miles and your body, skin, balls, ass, and thighs will let you know what you need to wear from now on if you want to be able to keep any of those.
Ok, so, is no one gonna talk about the syrup bottle on the bike!? 💀🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣. 12:06 just heard the syrup joke.

The "deliveroo guy" probably has an illegal ebike if its overtaking lycra, they are meant to be restricted to 15.5mph to be legal.
by law they stop being a bicycle and get treated as a scooter if they motor doesn't cut out at 15.5mph

I can't think of anything more boring than watching a group of millionaires kick a ball around...something that a 2 year old can do. And pubs...10 pound a pint to stand in a place that smells of farts with people so irritating you want to glass them after you've had a couple.
The best is when cyclists get their stupid toe clips stuck to the pedal, and go down with the ship. On a normal bike, you can just jump off and let the bike go.
